 Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the levels of pre-competition anxiety in male and female intercollegiate handball players from the central region of Madhya Pradesh. The forty handball players (20 Male and 20 Female) who participated in the intercollegiate competition served as the study's subjects. A pre-competition anxiety questionnaire (SCAT) created by Rainer Marten was used to determine the pre-competition anxiety levels of male and female handball players. A "t test" was performed to analyze the raw scores. The findings indicate a significant difference in pre-competition anxiety between male and female handball players, with females scoring higher on the anxiety scale (22.45) compared to males (14.23).

 Abstract

Teachers have an important role to play in teaching as well as an integral component of our continuum of schooling. It is up to the teachers to establish critical fundamental skills, communication, functioning attitudes, importance judgement and the correct adaptation of our students. The only individuals to illuminate the road to pupil growth is teacher and particular teaching method is important for learning. This present study was performed on two groups through two different teaching methods; namely lecture method and Concept Mapping Method in teaching science. The nature of study is quasi experimental in nature ,By implementing Matching design, the researcher only monitored the internal validity hazard for match design and Coordination between them allows study to adopt a pre-test that tests the dependent variable, or the variables chosen to be tested by the participants in a control and test community in such a manner.. The research was carried out after obtaining insight into concept-mapping method under study. During the teaching process, the study community was handled for 60 business days with a concept mapping method. In order to assess the impact of the method, students were assessed on the dependent variables prior to and during the procedure (pre-test and post-test) and to find out there is any significant difference exist between the two group which were used to taught through the teaching methods in teaching science for this present study. The difference between two group means were calculated through the 't' values. With the help of 't' values the researcher test the significance of difference between two group means. The total individual gain scores of students taught through concept mapping method is found significantly higher than that the total individual gain score of students taught through lecture method

 Abstract

The academic document validation system in India faces challenges characterized by complexity, sluggishness, and a potential risk of certificate loss for students. This project proposes an advanced and unconventional solution utilizing blockchain innovation for efficient and secure verification of academic certificates. Blockchain, as a decentralized database or distributed ledger, provides a robust, scalable, and private framework for recording transactions or digital events shared among participating parties. Our project introduces a comprehensive management system for the export and verification of academic certificates, aiming to streamline the process, reduce costs, and minimize manual efforts associated with verification. The proposed system involves the issuance of university uploading certificates, which are then hashed and stored in the blockchain, along with the certificate itself in the blockchain file system. Subsequently, a verifier provides a file or QR code, prompting the system to compare the provided hash with those of certificates previously stored in the blockchain. If a match is found, the corresponding certificate is retrieved from the blockchain file system. Conversely, if the certificate hash does not exist in the blockchain, the verification request is answered negatively. This innovative approach not only enhances the efficiency of the academic document validation process but also ensures the security and integrity of certificates through the decentralized and tamper-resistant nature of blockchain technology.

 Abstract

Agricultural diversification means shift from traditional crop farming to multiple crop farming with more inclusive and integrated crop farming system. Diversified agriculture system is more varied and inclusive than the traditional agriculture system. Diversification assists farmers in mitigating the hazards associated with reliance on a single crop. Pests, diseases, and meteorological conditions affect different crops differently. The present study attempts to analyze the trends in agricultural export of selected commodities and to discuss the diversification of Indian agriculture and its role in trade. The present study utilizes secondary source of data released by various government reports, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, DGCIS and Press Information Bureau. The result of the study show that share of agricultural commodities in export has increased by 48.95 percent during 2016-17 to 2021-22. The study also highlights that India has earned forex more than 50 billion USD in 2022. The meat, poultry and dairy also brought 3408 million USD in the country. The export of agriculture and allied activities have already reached Rs. 855293 crore mark during 2019-22 period (Includes April- January 2021-22 figure) with the exports for the period April 2021 - January 2022 exceeding Rs. 3 Lakh Crore. The study also shows that agricultural diversification has far reaching consequences and it helps in mitigating crop failures, reduce dependency on single crop, provides livelihood to large number of people and helps in establishment of various ancillary activities.

 Abstract

A descriptive study was conducted on gap analysis of knowledge and practice of standard precautions among staff nurses working in rural hospitals of West Bengal. The objectives of the study were to assess knowledge and practice of staff nurses, to find out the correlation between knowledge and practice, to analyse the gap between actual knowledge and practice with desired knowledge and practice, to determine the association between knowledge and practice with selected demographic variables. The conceptual framework adopted for the study was based on general system theory. Forty staff nurses were selected by convenient sampling technique. Data were collected by using structured knowledge questionnaire and observational checklist. The reliability of knowledge questionnaire was established by split half techniques followed by Spearman Brown Prophecy formula and rater-interrater method was used for observation checklist on the basis of agreement and disagreement percentage. Descriptive and inferential statistice were used for data analysis. The findings revealed that there was high gap on knowledge and practice among staff nurses. There was statistically significant relationship between knowledge score and years of working experience [df(n-2),p<0.05*] and knowledge score and professional qualification [x2 df(1)=3.841,p<0.05*]. The findings have several implications on nursing education, administration, practice and research. The study can be replicated in large population.

 Abstract

One paradigm for economic growth that is growing is financial inclusion, particularly in developing nations like India. Given that India is home to the biggest population of rural people worldwide, financial inclusion is a novel idea that uses creative methods to encourage rural residents to develop banking habits. Providing banking and financial services to everyone in a fair, transparent, and equitable manner at a reasonable cost is the goal of financial inclusion. Because it offers policy solutions to remove the obstacles preventing people from accessing financial markets, financial inclusion is essential to inclusive growth. The goal of inclusion is to provide underprivileged groups, such as lower-class individuals, with timely and enough credit access as well as reasonably priced access to various financial services.

 Abstract

India is a democratic and sovereign country, where people of all religion live together. As per the Constitution of the Republic of India; there are total of 645 district tribes. The term "Scheduled Tribes" refers to specific indigenous peoples whose status is acknowledged to some formal degree by national legislation. The Oraons (commonly pronounced as Uraons) are one of the five largest tribes in South Asia. They live in the forested uplands of east-central India, occupying the Chota Nagpur region of Jharkhand and adjoining states. Chota Nagpur, the homeland of the Oraons, is the name given to the northeastern section of the great peninsular mass of India. This is an attempt to explore the origin, migration and present habitat of the Oraons, from the Folkloristic point of view. Hopefully, the learned readers will appreciate this research paper and find it useful.
