 Abstract

Aim-The present paper aims to understand the employment opportunity in crab hunting of Sundarbans withspecial reference to Deulbari village of Kultali block,South 24 parganas district,West Bengal. Methods-Listening the problem of study area from a relative,start literature review and collect data on crab hunting.At first ,depend on local information,data are collected through random sampling surveyed and explain with cartographically. Results- The study explain about crab hunting and employment opportunity in Sundarbans with special refence to Deulbari village of Kultali block,West Bengal.According to primary survey data on Deulbari village there are more earning opportunity in crab hunting than cultination.About 30% people engaged with only crab hunting with seasonally,40% to 50% people engage with both paddy cultivation and crab hunting. Conclusion-Inspite of having agricultural land,most of people of sundarbans are not engaged withcultivation.Being their life risk from tiger,they involve withcrab hunting.The study may help to review the different types of crab hunters and their livelihood in Sundarbans specially in Deulbari village of Kultali block.

 Abstract

Extrusion/spheronization is a multistep process that results in uniform particles. Many techniques are now widely used in the pharmaceutical industry, Extrusion and spheronization are one of them. It is often used as a way to create different products for immediate release and controlled release. Its main advantage over other methodsof producing drugloaded spheres or pellets is the ability to incorporate high levels of active drugs without producing large particles. Spheronization techniques used to produced pharmaceutical pellets. the pellets with specific characteristics were obtained with each production technique. The class IV drug of BCS classification exhibit many characteristics which may affects oral and per oral delivery, such as low aqueous solubility, poor permeability, low absorption leads to low and variable bioavailability. Preparation of pelletised dosage form done by number of techniques including drug layering on nonpareil sugar or MCC (micro cellulose) beads, spray drying, spray congealing, roto granulation, hot melt extrusion and spheronization low melt materials or extrusion spheronization of a wet mass. In this review we studied about various stages of spheronization.

 Abstract

Microsponges are small, porous drug delivery devices. These are small sponge-like spheres with large pores and can alter the release of the drug, increasing stability and reducing side effects. Microsponges were developed using the semi-emulsion solvent diffusion technique as it has a better microsponge formation mechanism. They can also increase stability, reduce side effects, and alter the release process of the drug.

 Abstract

In this article, the review and a study has been carried out about The Indian Antiquary volumes edited by James Burgess, especially his editorial articles pertaining to Karnataka. These volumes provide new dimension to the study of Indian archaeology and history as well as Karnataka culture. These volumes are recognised nationally as the pioneer volumes dealt with the Indian Archaeology and History. In 1872 James Burgess started the Indian Antiquary volumes. He has published many articles as chief editor regarding Indian Historical issues. On Karnataka history and culture some articles were published by him. Research he has done in depth study and new research in field of Karnataka history and culture. To reconstruct the history of Karnataka articles of James Burgess are very useful and ritual important. The volumes of some are used as primary sources along with later publication as a secondary source. The method of study is mainly a historical method. The writings of James Burgess in the volumes of Indian Antiquary are discussed in detail in this paper.

 Abstract

Glenohumeral Internal Rotation Deficit (GIRD) is a common issue among collegiate athletes engaged in overhead sports, characterized by a significant reduction in internal rotation of the throwing shoulder compared to the contra lateral shoulder. This study aims to compare the efficacy of two therapeutic approaches--Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) combined with Mulligan versus Muscle Energy Technique (MET) combined with Mulligan in improving GIRD in collegiate athletes involved in overhead sports. Need of the study: Although many studies have been done on improving GIRD but none has been done to compare the effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation with Mulligan Versus Muscle energy Technique with Mulligan to improve Glenohumeral Internal Rotation Deficit in Collegiate Athletes playing Overhead Sports. Methods: A total of 30 collegiate athletes with diagnosed GIRD will be recruited from Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Patel Nagar, Dehradun. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two experimental groups: Group 1 will receive PNF with Mulligan, and Group 2 will receive MET with Mulligan. Pre-treatment, Mid Treatment and post-treatment evaluations will be conducted using the Hand behind Back Test and the Tyler Test to measure changes in internal rotation. Treatment protocols will be administered over a specified duration, and the data will be analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Conclusion: The study's findings indicate that while both therapeutic approaches--Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) combined with Mulligan and Muscle Energy Technique (MET) combined with Mulligan--showed no significant difference in effectiveness when comparing outcomes between the two groups, Group A (PNF with Mulligan) demonstrated a significantly greater improvement within the group itself. These results suggest that PNF may be the more effective approach for addressing Glenohumeral Internal Rotation Deficit (GIRD) in collegiate athletes participating in overhead sports. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term effects and potential mechanisms behind these outcomes.

Choreography in dance is an intricate art form that requires the thoughtful arrangement and composition of movements to create a harmonious and expressive dance piece. Choreographers, often considered the architects of dance, carefully select steps, patterns, and formations, weaving them together to convey a specific theme, story, or emotion. This creative process involves a keen understanding of musicality, rhythm and spacial dynamics, as well as a deep connection to the cultural or artistic context in which the dance is situated. Choreographers use the body as a canvas to communicate their ideas and narratives. Alarippu is the invocatory dance in the recital, properly structured by Tanjore quartet. In modern days there are many innovations done in alarippu. Innovation plays a crucial role in dance by pushing boundaries, expanding creative possibilities, and bringing fresh perspectives to the art form. Innovation in dance can lead to the development of unique choreographic approaches. This paper discusses about a new innovative alarippu "Mriga alarippu".A good innovative choreography creates aesthetic pleasure. Thus brings joy to the dancer as well as to the spectators.

The aim of this study to have a look at was to create and check a singular natural mouthwash that synergistically combines herbal substances recognized to have oral health benefits.  Abstract

In RC frame structures, beams and columns are the primary structural systems that resist lateral loads. Besides, these primary systems, some elements also participate to resist lateral load, which fall in the category of secondary systems. Secondary system may be structural secondary like structural partition, staircase etc. and non-structural secondary like machinery, storage tanks etc. Concrete staircase, which are structural secondary members are normally designed for non-seismic forces. During earthquakes, performance of stairs has been given low attention in research field and in the field of professional practices. In the present study, the effects of staircase on the seismic performance of the RC frame Building of different heights and different plans are studied. Staircase must remain usable after moderate or severe ground shake so that they can continue to function for rapid evacuation of residents. The nature of the interaction between staircase and structures needs to be understood more deeply by engineers and clearly addressed by codes and standards. Shear force are always found to be less in values in all three analyzed columns of the building when the stairs are present either at corner of building or in front at center of the building under seismic loading for both 10 stories
