 Abstract

Deep Learning, a subset of machine learning, has emerged as a revolutionary technology enabling machines to learn and make decisions using large neural networks. Since the rise of deep learning in the early 2000s, it has significantly impacted numerous fields, including computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and autonomous systems. This research focuses on the principles of deep learning, its various architectures, and applications in today's data-driven world. From image recognition to self-driving cars, deep learning algorithms have transformed how we analyze and interpret large-scale data. The goal of this study is to explore the concepts of deep learning and its applications in solving complex real-world problems.

 Abstract

Abstract: India is a large democracy country full of diversities, linguistically, culturally and religiously. On the other hand, it has faced many social and economic inequalities such as poverty and illiteracy, casteism, unemployment, corruption, Gender discrimination, etc.Which needs to be resolved as it requires new proposals. Undoubtedly, the law plays an important role in drive out Indian democracy from these issues, but the mere legal proposals are not enough for the necessary reforms in society. Some of the measures that can be taken to maintain a democratic democracy in India are hundred percent literacy, Make people aware of democratic rights, Ensure better protection of basic rights, and freedom of the press. In this paper, it has been attempted study the existing democratic set up in India, analyze the challenges of Indian democracy and suggest necessary conditions in order to ensure a sustainable democracy in India.

 Abstract

Children are the most auspicious gift of the god. They are the ones who bring joy to the lives of the parents and family. They are considered pure souls who are not caught in society's double standards. But today, we can see the violations of the rights of every person and children are also no longer left. In this world, children are the most vulnerable creatures who can be exploited easily. In a country like India which experienced bloodshed during the partition at that time, along with the females, children were the target of attack and exploitation. As we moved on from the horror experiences of partition the exploitation of children became more common because of many factors such as illiteracy, poverty, easy trafficking etc. Later on, in the 80s and 90s when the thoughts and ideas related to the protection of child rights began to establish themselves, the Indian system also began to realize the importance of child rights this was because of many conventions signed by the Indian government as well as the active role played by the judiciary of India in giving value to child rights. The rights of children are classified into four broad parameters which are the right to survival right to protection, the right to freedom of opinion and the right to education. These rights are considered broad and umbrella rights because of the interpretation of these rights many legislations were passed by the parliament and many judgements related to the protection of the rights of children were pronounced by the Indian courts. The Indian Judiciary from time to time has played an active role when required to protect the rights of children either through, Public interest litigations or taking suo-motu cognizance whenever required.

 Abstract

A descriptive study was conducted to assess the knowledge of the DASH diet among hypertensive patients residence in Koravallimedu village, Puducherry. A total of 100 hypertensive patients were selected by using the convenience sampling technique. The data was collected by using a structured knowledge questionnaire on the DASH diet among study participants from 08/03/2024 to 13/03/2024. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that nearly half of the hypertensive patients (47%) had moderate knowledge, 45% had inadequate knowledge, and only 8% had adequate knowledge regarding the DASH diet. There was a significant association found between knowledge levels with education & dietary patterns and also a significant association between blood pressure & drug intake with health profiles. These findings emphasized that there is a need for an awareness program about the DASH diet among community people. Keywords: Hypertension, hypertensive patients, DASH diet, knowledge, Puducherry.

 Abstract

The insurance industry plays a vital role in the promotion of sustainable development both socially and economically. All industries are facing growing pressures to put climate and environmental issues at the forefront of their business dealings, and the insurance sector is no different. In prediction of last year, 2023 has been a tough year for insurers, characterized by hard market conditions that have led to higher claims rejection rates for customers. In 2024, insurers will have to make efforts to restore customers faith in the industry, as well as minimizing customer losses in the wake of premium rises. Insurers will no doubt focus on improving the customer experience by increasing transparency and simplifying the claims process in order to boost retention rates and strengthen consumer brand loyalty. As customer expectations change, insurers will have to adapt their business model to meet new demands. Insurers focusing on delivering customer-centric products and services will fare well in 2024.

 Abstract

The Philippines is a highly disaster-prone country, and Valenzuela City is no exception. Approximately 25% of the city is situated below sea level, which makes natural drainage challenging and causes frequent severe floods that significantly impact the city's socioeconomic fabric (Designing Resilience in Asia, n.d.). In response, researchers have conducted a study on extracting local flooding disaster knowledge of the communities in Valenzuela City towards disaster policy enhancement. The study aimed to identify and document the local knowledge and experiences of residents in flood-prone communities in Valenzuela City regarding flooding disasters. The researchers used a qualitative method including interviews and surveys to gather community data. The data collected were then analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key themes and patterns in the residents' knowledge and experiences. The study revealed that the residents of Valenzuela City have a wealth of knowledge and experiences related to flooding disasters. They possess knowledge about the causes and effects of flooding and strategies to mitigate its impact. The study also found a strong sense of community among the residents, as they work together to cope with the effects of flooding. The findings of the study have significant implications for disaster policy enhancement in Valenzuela City. By incorporating the local knowledge and experiences of the residents, authorities can develop more effective policies and strategies to mitigate the impact of flooding disasters. The study also highlights the importance of community participation in disaster policy-making, as it promotes a sense of ownership and responsibility among the residents for their own safety and well-being. In conclusion, the study on extracting local flooding disaster knowledge of the communities in Valenzuela City towards disaster policy enhancement provides valuable insights into the knowledge and experiences of residents in flood-prone communities. The findings of the study can inform the development of more effective policies and strategies for disaster risk reduction and management in Valenzuela City and other flood-prone areas in the Philippines. The study also emphasizes the importance of community participation in disaster policy-making, as it promotes a more inclusive and effective approach to disaster risk reduction and management.

 Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Musical performances require a maximum of concentration, both on the psychological and on a physical level. Student and professional musicians practice their instrument for thousands of hours a year, sometimes many hours a day, maintaining unfavourable postures and require a high level of neuromuscular activity, while placing a very significant load on their musculoskeletal system. The prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in instrumentalists is relatively high, ranging from 73.4% to 87.7%.At least 75% experience upper extremity symptoms, most of which relate to overuse. Most commonly, occupational injuries in musicians affect the upper quarter region, with highest prevalence in the cervical-thoracic spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. These upper quarter injuries and consequential pain are frequently associated with neuromuscular changes often affecting the cervical spine and scapular stabilizers. String instruments are the generic term of the instruments that make sound with the vibration of strings. Included in the category of bowed string instruments are the violin, viola, cello, and double bass .Although they include guitars, harps, pianos in the broad meaning, the violin family; violin, viola, cello, and contrabass. The present study evaluates the presence of scapular dyskinesis in young musicians who play these instruments i.e - Violin , Sitar , Ukulele ,Guitar. AIM: To Study the Prevalence of Scapular dyskinesis in string players. OBJECTIVES: To Study the Prevalence of Scapular dyskinesis in string players using Scapular Dyskinesis test (SDT) & Lateral Scapular Slide test (LSST). Methods: An Observational study was conducted on 90 string players , aged 18-35 years, playing instrument for more than 5 years with frequency of playing the string instrument between 4-5 times a week with 2-2.5 hours of practice sessions.The ones who had swelling, sensory impairment (eg: Diabetes,Arthritis,Pregnancy),Players with Previous Shoulder injuries, Upper limb fracture were excluded from the study.Players with Recent upper extremity & neck injuries were also excluded. RESULTS: This study was done in 90 string instrument players from Pune. Among 90 string instrument players:30 were violin players from which 6 players had scapular dyskinesis, which shows 20% prevalence.20 were sitar players from which 2 players had scapular dyskinesis, which shows10% prevalence.20 were ukulele players in which there was no prevalence of scapular dyskinesis.20 were guitar players in which 2 players had scapular dyskinesis , which shows 10%prevalence.The results showed that the average age of String players was 25 years , with an average playing experience of 7years in which this study shows 11 % prevalence of scapular dyskinesis. CONCLUSION: Thus the study concludes that the prevalence of scapular dyskinesis is 11% in string players in & around Pune.

It acts as a central hub for managing the flow of data and communication between different applications and services across multiple cloud platforms. However, implementing and maintaining this orchestration can be challenging due to the complexities of multi-cloud environments. One of the main challenges in API gateway orchestration is ensuring seamless connectivity and compatibility between different cloud platforms. Since each cloud provider has unique APIs and protocols, integrating them into a coherent system can be daunting. This requires a deep understanding of the various cloud platforms and their capabilities and the development of custom adapters and connectors. Another challenge is maintaining security and compliance in a multi-cloud environment. With multiple data sources and endpoints, ensuring consistent policies and access control across different clouds can be a complicated task. Additionally, having various API gateways increases the attack surface, making it crucial to have robust security measures. Efficient API gateway management and monitoring are also critical in a multi-cloud environment. With a unified view, tracking and troubleshooting issues that may arise can be easier. This can result in delays in response times and potential downtime, impacting the overall performance and reliability of the system.
