 Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, remains one of the most significant global health challenges, especially with rising cases of drug-resistant TB strains. Traditional TB treatment relies heavily on a combination of synthetic antibiotics, including isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol, and pyrazinamide. While effective, these drugs are associated with several limitations, such as severe side effects, high costs, and a growing prevalence of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) and extensively drug-resistant TB (XDR-TB). The emergence of these resistant strains underscores an urgent need for alternative therapies that are both effective and accessible, with fewer adverse effects and lower chances of developing resistance.

 Abstract

An electronic health record is a collection of a patient's medical records that can be accessed at any time and from any location by authorized personnel. The use of e-healthcare has led to improved social and health outcomes, as well as a reduction in medical errors. However, a major obstacle to the advancement of e-healthcare is the security issues related to patient data storage in IT frameworks. Blockchain technology has emerged as a potential solution to this issue and may revolutionize the healthcare industry. Sharing medical records can be time-consuming because the same person's records may be kept in several locations, increasing the likelihood of duplication in the system. Usually, producing fake reports requires altering or hacking the data. The primary cause of this is that patients are not allowed to view their data. This work establishes the groundwork for a blockchain-based strategy that includes smart contracts, context based access control, a public ledger, and a private ledger to securely manage patient data. The suggested architecture ensures reliable access to patient data, safe storage, and interoperability. Additionally, the proposed blockchain-based framework provides an efficient and trustworthy means of managing complex medical procedures. The study also outlines potential uses for blockchain technology in the healthcare industry, such as facilitating secure and anonymous sharing of health data for research purposes.

Masculinity is first noticed in primitive wild animal society. Later the same thing happened in the case of primitive human being. In the course of evolution man has formed a modern civilized society. Masculinity is flowing in the same way there. However instead of using force, women are suppressed in the society by applying intellect. This gender stereotype has also flowed through literature at different times. Attempts are being made to establish gender stereotype where literature continues to play a significant role.

 Abstract

Gandhi's life and work are infused with food and dietary concerns, dilemmas and questions. But the 'dreary details' of Gandhi's dietetics are improbable. This begs the question of the significance of food in Gandhi's thought as something other than, perhaps more than a thing to eat besides, a source of nourishment for the physiological needs of the body and feeding carnal pleasures, food has implications for the soul, renunciation, and politics. Gandhi's relationship with food is not just biological; it is also intellectual, moral, ethical, and political. The problematic of my paper is food and diet in Gandhi's An Autobiography or The Story of My Experiments with Truth. I wish to explore its relationship with Swaraj--Gandhi's life-project--as enunciated in Hind Swaraj, arguably, Gandhi's most widely read work since its first appearance in 1909. Hind Swaraj is regarded as a norm by which the significance of his other writings--including the Autobiography-- should be assessed. My purpose in this article is to pick out the line of inquiry connecting Hind Swaraj and the Autobiography; that which helps in analyzing the significance of food.

The transition from employment to entrepreneurship represents a significant shift for many women, driven by a desire for autonomy and fulfillment. Understanding the motivations behind this journey, as well as the challenges faced, is essential for fostering an environment that supports female entrepreneurs. This paper presents an exploratory research that investigates the motivations and challenges faced by women transitioning from employment to entrepreneurship. Key motivations include the desire for flexibility, pursuit of passion, control over career paths, financial independence, and recognition of skills. Conversely, women encounter several challenges such as cultural and social barriers, limited access to resources, confidence issues, work-life balance concerns, and the need to navigate new responsibilities. Understanding these dynamics through exploratory research is crucial for developing supportive policies and initiatives that empower women entrepreneurs. By addressing the unique obstacles they face, we can foster a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that enhances women's contributions to economic growth.

 Abstract

The present study was aimed to explore the perception of parents towards formal education for their children. This study is delimited to the parents of students who are pursuing formal education residing in the sub locality of Hengrabari area of Guwahati city of Assam. For this study, descriptive survey method was employed to find out the way of perceiving the educational system by the parents. It directly influence the children to undertake the type of education according to their preference of parents. This research was done using a self structured questionnaire including close ended questions for deriving the overall perception of parents towards formal education. This study is relevant in the present day society for the fact that parents prefer formal education over the other types of education as the parents are familiar with formal education and also it is easily accessible.

: Thermodynamic is a branch of physics which deals with the energy and work of a system. It was born in the 19th century as scientists were first discovering how to build and operate steam engines. Thermodynamics deals only with the large scale response of a system which we can observe and measure in experiments. Small scale gas interactions are described by the kinetic theory of gases. The methods complement each other; some principles are more easily understood in terms of thermodynamics and some principles are more easily explained by kinetic theory.

 Abstract

Abstract: Vulnerability assessment, in simple terms, is the process aimed at protecting sensitive data, resources, systems, or infrastructures from attacks by identifying weaknesses that can be exploited. A risk management process is how the self-assessment in its complexity, defines the risk following the degree of its impact and the possibility of use. To determine the presence or absence of vulnerabilities, it is important to choose between employing automated tools and performing manual testing and know which way is the best for the aimed performance within the specific time. This research paper will focus on the qualitative evaluation of the processes regarding vulnerability assessment with a focus on automated tools and manual testing to appropriately meet the requisite output volume and quality. It is expected that most of the findings will be helpful in promptly addressing the relevant scenarios and timelines to apposite vulnerability assessment methods. To do that, the study will focus on applying both approaches to see what is more efficient in what conditions. A thorough study has revealed that the automated testing approach can be time-consuming and involves a lot of effort. Manual testing, otherwise, tends to focus on specific types of vulnerabilities but is faster. The ideal approach will seek to combine the two testing strategies into a hybrid approach, which is expected to strike the best possible balance. This will also provide a complete reporting mechanism that meets regulatory requirements and ensures that timely reports are available.

 Abstract

In Chapter 1, the research introduces the increasing prevalence of depression and anxiety among the elderly population and positions "music therapy" as a promising 'non-pharmacological intervention'. The chapter outlines the research aims, objectives, and hypotheses, focusing on assessing music therapy's impact on mental health outcomes, particularly depression and anxiety. Chapter 2 presents a literature review, highlighting prior studies that demonstrate music therapy's potential to improve emotional well-being in elderly patients. It also identifies a gap in the quantitative research on 'music therapy's frequency and duration, particularly its role in reducing depression and anxiety. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, employing a quantitative approach through a structured Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 60 elderly patients. The data analysis, informed by a 'positivist philosophy' and a 'cross-sectional survey strategy', was conducted using statistical methods, including an independent 'sample t-test'. In Chapter 4, the data analysis confirms that 'music therapy' significantly reduces 'depression and anxiety' levels in elderly patients. The analysis supports both Emotional Regulation and Exposure and Habituation theories, emphasising music's role in emotional regulation and the cumulative benefits of repeated therapy sessions. Chapter 5 presents the results, showing significant improvements in mental health and emotional stability. Chapter 6 concludes that 'music therapy' is an effective treatment for elderly patients, and recommends increasing its accessibility, integrating it with other therapies, and conducting further research on long-term benefits.
