Amrita Pritam's Pinjar (1950) is a seminal work in Partition literature, exploring the devastating impact of the Partition of India (1947) on the lives of individuals, particularly women. The novel captures the emotional and psychological scars left by violence, displacement, and identity loss, portraying the painful experiences of Puro, the central character, whose abduction symbolizes the brutal intersection of gender, communal violence, and historical trauma. This paper examines the central theme of pain in Pinjar, focusing on the tension between loss and survival. Through Puro's journey, Pritam illustrates the enduring emotional cost of the Partition, the complexity of identity formation, and the resilience required for survival in a fractured world. The paper also delves into the gendered nature of violence, the symbolic use of trauma in Pritam's narrative, and the broader implications of Partition on women's bodies and minds

Abstract: Digital justice in India has evolved from a modest computerization initiative into one of the most significant judicial reforms of the twenty-first century. This transformation, rooted in the need to modernize a heavily overburdened judicial system, gained immense momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic, when courts were compelled to rely on technology for their continued functioning. The expansion of virtual hearings, e-filing systems, artificial intelligence tools, and integrated digital case management platforms reflects a profound shift in judicial philosophy--one that embraces accessibility, efficiency, and transparency as central pillars of justice. This article offers a comprehensive study of the evolution, functioning, and impact of digital justice in India. It examines the historical trajectory of technological reforms, the development of virtual courts, the emergence of AI in judicial administration, and the broad spectrum of institutional innovations that support digital governance in courts. It further analyses the benefits and the multi-dimensional challenges associated with digital systems, evaluates the constitutional and jurisprudential implications of the digital shift, compares India's progress with global experiences, and outlines future directions for judicial administration. This expanded analysis demonstrates that digital justice, while still evolving, has already reshaped the cultural, procedural, and philosophical landscape of India's judiciary.

Rabies is one of the oldest known infectious diseases, with historical records tracing back violent symptoms seen in infected individuals. In ancient Greece, it was also referred to as lyssa, which means frenzy.Rabies is a zoonotic viral infection capable of affecting humans as well as all mammals, including domestic pets, livestock, and wild animals.Louis Pasteur (1885) A major breakthrough came when Louis Pasteur developed the first rabies vaccine using an attenuated virus. The first successful treatment was given to Joseph Meister, a boy bitten by a rabid dog, marking a milestone in medical history.Rabies is a zoonotic infection that can be prevented through vaccination and still causes considerable deaths across the globe. Long-term vaccination programs targeting wild animals have successfully brought rabies under control in Western Europe, largely by creating a vaccination barrier along the borders with rabies-endemic regions of Eastern Europe. For centuries, rabies has had a profound impact on human society and remains among the rare diseases with an almost universally fatal outcome once clinical symptoms appear. The rabies virus, like other members of the Lyssavirus genus, is primarily transmitted through the bite of an infected animal.Lyssaviruses show a strong preference for nerve tissue and typically gain entry into the nervous system only after the skin barrier is broken.Passive immunity plays an essential role in protecting the body, both naturally and through medical treatment, by reducing the harmful impact of infectious agents and toxins, as seen in conditions like rabies and tetanus.Novel rabies vaccines refer to new-generation formulations developed to overcome the limitations of traditional nerve-tissue and cell-culture vaccines. These modern vaccines are designed to improve safety, immunogenicity, cost-effectiveness, and ease of administration. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers rabies a preventable yet neglected zoonotic disease that continues to cause tens of thousands of deaths each year, mainly in Asia and Africa. WHO emphasizes that rabies can be eliminated through a "One Health" approach, which integrates mass dog vaccination, improved human post-exposure prophylaxis, public awareness, and stronger health systems. The organization, together with global partners, has set the target of achieving ."Zero human deaths from dog-mediated rabies by 2030."

The Jojari River, a vital tributary of the Luni River in western Rajasthan, has been progressively deteriorating due to unregulated industrial discharge, agricultural runoff, and municipal sewage. This research investigates the water and soil pollution levels in the Jojari basin and explores their potential human health implications. The study integrates field-based analyses with literature review (2010-2024), highlighting heavy metal accumulation, organic pollution, and related health hazards such as skin disorders, hepatic dysfunction, reproductive toxicity, and cancer. The results reveal alarming concentrations of Pb, Cr, Cd, and As far exceeding WHO standards, indicating potential bioaccumulation in the food chain.

In today's complex financial environment, individuals often struggle to access transparent and personalized financial guidance. Traditional advisory services are expensive and biased, while digital tools lack adaptability to user needs. This paper presents an AI-Driven Robo-Advisory System that delivers customized financial advice using user data such as income, goals, and spending behavior. The system applies artificial intelligence to generate explainable and data- backed recommendations for budgeting, saving, and investing through an interactive text-based interface. Testing and user feedback show that the prototype enhances trust, usability, and decision-making efficiency compared to conventional solutions. The proposed system contributes to financial literacy and sets the foundation for future integration of predictive analytics, live financial data, and multilingual interaction.

Githa Hariharan's novel When Dreams Travel intricately explores the psychological dimensions of memory, identity, and trauma within a postcolonial Indian context. This article employs a psychological framework to analyze how characters negotiate intergenerational trauma and cultural dislocation. It highlights the novel's use of storytelling as a therapeutic strategy for healing fractured selves. Drawing on psychoanalytic and trauma theories alongside narrative therapy, the paper illuminates the psychological depth of Hariharan's narrative and its contribution to contemporary postcolonial literature.

Bloodstream infections are considered to be associated with a central line if the line was in use during the 48-hour period before the development of the bloodstream infection. Care bundles, in general, are groupings of best practices with respect to a disease process that individually improve care, but when applied together result in substantially greater improvement. The present study was conducted to assess the practice and perceived barriers of staff nurses working in ICU and CCU in adopting protocol on post insertion care bundle in prevention of central line associated blood stream infection in selected hospitals of Indore. The study used descriptive research design. Purposive sampling technique is used to select 50 staff nurses working in ICU and CCU as per the predetermined inclusion criteria. Selected samples were given the knowledge and barrier questionnaire regarding post insertion care bundle which was filled by the participants, an observational checklist is used to assess the practice of staff nurses. At the end samples were taught about CLABSI and its prevention and also post insertion care bundle protocol was given to sister incharge of ICU and CCU. The study finding reveals that there is a great need for the staff nurses to update their knowledge regarding post insertion care bundle for preventing CLABSI and providing post insertion care bundle while caring patients with central line catheter prevent fatal complication in ill patients.
