Curcumin, a key medicinal compound from the Zingiberaceae family, is the principal bioactive component of turmeric widely used in India. It exhibits notable biological properties, especially strong antioxidant potential, and epidemiological studies suggest turmeric consumption may reduce the risk of various cancers. Curcuma longa, a commonly used rhizomatous plant, contains three major curcuminoids--curcumin, demethoxycurcumin (DMC), and bisdemethoxycurcumin (BDMC), also known collectively as diferuloyl methane. Curcumin demonstrates diverse therapeutic activities including anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, anticancer, anti-asthmatic, anti-obesity, wound-healing, anti-venom, and antidiabetic effects. Clinical investigations further support these pharmacological roles. The compound exhibits tautomerism, forming a keto structure in water and an enolic form in organic solvents. This review summarizes curcumin's varied activities and its significance in medicinal applications.

Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease which affects both the soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. The periodontium is a complex structure which is complicated as it does not functionally restore itself after disease. Considering this complexity, tissue engineering accomplished to make it possible. Tissue engineering approaches can provide a new perspective to the affected or damaged tissues and help to reconstruct it. Severe and chronic periodontitis involves massive destruction of tissues and generally the process is irreversible. In these cases, bone grafts, delivery of growth hormones, guided tissue regeneration have been used but these approaches do not result in good treatment outcome. As a result, smart biomaterials were introduced to improve the clinical performance. Periodontitis is a multifactorial disease. It can cause damage to both soft and hard tissues of the periodontium. Regular periodontal treatment comprises of surgical and non-surgical procedures. An ideal goal of periodontal treatment is to achieve sufficient regeneration of damaged tissues. periodontal tissue engineering has emerged as a promising approach. Biomaterials provide a good added value to drug delivery, antibacterial properties and helps in tissue regeneration to treat several periodontal diseases. Smart biomaterials can be divided into 0-dimensional, 1-dimensional, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional biomaterials. Hydrogel provide attachment of cells and growth of periodontal cells and help in tissue regeneration. The technology uses biomaterial scaffold which mimics the extracellular matrix of native periodontal tissues. The smart biomaterials have evolved to provide good clinical performance in periodontal tissue engineering.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized traditional formulation design procedures in the cosmetic and nutraceutical industries, allowing for more rapid and precise and economical product creation. Formulation research used to rely on trial-and-error experimentation, which required a lot of time and resources. Scientists can now examine large datasets, find the best ingredient combinations, and forecast the physical, chemical, and biological performance of formulations thanks to artificial intelligence (AI) and sophisticated computer models like machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL). By examining consumer data, skin type, environmental factors, and ingredient interactions, artificial intelligence (AI) helps create customized skincare, hair care, and makeup solutions. Customized solutions with enhanced safety and efficacy characteristics result from this. Similar to this, AI is employed in the nutraceutical industry to create functional foods and supplements that target particular medical conditions by forecasting the stability, bioavailability, and synergistic effects of active ingredients. Furthermore, AI-powered simulation and predictive analytics solutions promote regulatory compliance; improve product stability, and lower formulation failures. Formulators can speed up innovation and sustainability objectives by combining cheminformatics, digital twins, and virtual screening. Notwithstanding its many benefits, issues including data quality, standardization, and ethical concerns persist. All things considered, AI-assisted formulation design is a paradigm shift toward intelligent, customized, and science-driven innovation in the nutraceutical and cosmetic industries, opening the door for the next generation of clever, customer-focused goods. In line with sustainability and green chemistry objectives, the use of AI-enabled digital twins, virtual formulation labs, and in silico simulations dramatically lowers formulation failures and lessens the need for physical trials. AI also helps with supply-chain optimization, real-time shelf-life prediction, regulatory paperwork, and quality-by-design (QbD) frameworks. Innovation and discovery are further accelerated by emerging technologies as autonomous robotic formulation systems, generative AI, and omics-driven data modeling. Not with standing these developments, problems still exist, such as inconsistent data quality, a dearth of standardized datasets, a lack of legal rules for AI-based formulation, and ethical issues with data privacy. All things considered, AI-assisted formulation design is a revolutionary step toward intelligent, customized, and sustainable innovation in nutraceuticals and cosmetics, setting a new standard for consumer-focused product development and precision formulation research.

It is fundamental to comprehend digital protection and expertise to apply it in the cutting edge world, which is fueled by organizations and innovation. Without security, frameworks, essential records, information, and other pivotal virtual articles are powerless. In the same way, attackers do not fall behind as new technologies in cyber security emerge. They are employing more sophisticated hacking methods and focusing on the vulnerabilities of numerous companies. Since military, political, monetary, clinical, and corporate elements accumulate, use, and store immense measures of information on laptops and different gadgets, network safety is urgent. Delicate data, like monetary information, protected innovation, individual data, or different kinds of information for which unapproved access or colleague could raise ominous issues, can make up a sizeable portion of the data. Cybercrime is a type of criminal activity that involves the use of computers or other electronic devices and involves the use of a computer system as a tool, a target, or a place to store evidence of a criminal act. India has strict anti-cybercrime laws in place, but the primary problem facing the nation is low public awareness. In order to prevent giving hackers the upper hand, those combating cybercrime should make an effort to anticipate both qualitative and quantitative changes in the underlying materials. This essay highlights the significance of comprehending the effects of cybercrime, taking current events into account, and offering strategies to protect a person or an organization from them. This research paper provides an overview of Indian cyber regulations, a list of different kinds of cyberattacks and cybersecurity, and an analysis of the state of cyber security in India today.

The rapid expansion of financial markets in emerging economies has brought millions of new retail investors into the investment ecosystem. However, despite the increasing availability of financial information and digital trading platforms, investment decisions in these markets often deviate from rational frameworks prescribed by traditional finance. This research paper examines the influence of behavioral biases on retail investors and analyzes how these biases shape investment patterns across selected emerging markets. The study is grounded in the principles of behavioral finance, which highlight the psychological, emotional, and cognitive factors that impact investment choices and can lead to systematic deviations from optimal decision-making. Using a mixed-method research design, data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to retail investors in key emerging markets, supported by secondary data from financial databases, market reports, and academic literature. The study focuses on major behavioral biases such as overconfidence bias, herd behavior, loss aversion, anchoring, disposition effect, mental accounting, and representativeness. Statistical tools including correlation analysis, regression modeling, and factor analysis were applied to understand the relationship between behavioral biases and investment behavior. The findings reveal that behavioral biases significantly influence retail investor decisions, often resulting in suboptimal investment outcomes. Overconfidence bias emerged as a dominant predictor of frequent trading, higher risk exposure, and reliance on personal judgment rather than analytical evaluation. Herd behavior was particularly strong in markets characterized by volatility and limited financial literacy, leading investors to follow popular trends regardless of underlying fundamentals. Loss aversion and the disposition effect were found to affect selling decisions, with investors holding losing stocks for too long while prematurely selling winning ones. Anchoring and representativeness biases further shaped initial investment choices, particularly among novice investors. The study also highlights that cultural factors, market maturity, regulatory frameworks, and access to financial education play a significant role in moderating behavioral biases in emerging markets. Retail investors with higher levels of financial literacy and investment experience demonstrated lower susceptibility to biases and exhibited more rational decision-making patterns. The research underscores the importance of promoting financial education, encouraging long-term investment strategies, and enhancing investor protection mechanisms to mitigate the adverse effects of behavioral biases. This paper contributes to the growing body of knowledge on behavioral finance by offering empirical evidence from emerging markets, an area often underrepresented in existing literature. The insights derived from this study have important implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and investment advisors seeking to better understand and support retail investors in dynamic and evolving market environments.

Roma Tearne's Bone China explores the deep emotional and cultural consequences of migration and displacement across generations. Focusing on the de Silva family's move from Sri Lanka to Britain, the novel examines how migration disrupts identity, family bonds, and cultural continuity. This paper argues that Tearne portrays displacement not only as a physical relocation but as an emotional and cultural rupture. Using Homi Bhabha's idea of the "unhomed," alongside trauma and memory theories, this study analyzes how objects, homes, and family rituals in the novel act as anchors of memory and strategies for emotional survival in diasporic life.
