 Abstract

This research examined the relationship between grit and flourishing in young adults, focusing on potential gender differences. Using a sample of 100 participants (50 males, 50 females) aged 18-25, it employed the Short Grit Scale and the Flourishing Scale. The analysis revealed a low but positive correlation between grit and flourishing (r = .300, p < 0.05), indicating that perseverance and sustained interest contribute to psychological well-being. No significant gender differences were found in grit and flourishing levels. The study suggests that resilience-building interventions can enhance well-being across genders, with future research recommended to include more diverse traits and samples.

 Abstract

Racism is a clear and important theme in T. C. Boyle's The Tortilla Curtain, but there is another important theme that can be seen by looking at how the book builds realism and moves the plot along. Using concepts of gender and masculinity that people already have, the story compares and contrasts the different worlds of men and women. As the story moves from one character to another, their different home responsibilities are also compared and contrasted. The story builds on and relies on the idea of a dichotomy between the sexes to show how Delaney Mossbacher's displays of masculinity are on the edge. His identity problem and feeling of being out of place can be explained by putting Delaney's performance of manhood within the limits of the traditional male role. Also, by putting scenes where Delaney Mossbacher's male position has been threatened next to scenes that show his descent into racism, the book shows that there is a logical link between Delaney's bad situation and his increasingly racist, violent, and hateful outbursts, which makes them more believable.

 Abstract

Trigonella has been present on the continents of Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia since prehistoric times. The species name "foenum-graecum" (meaning "Greek hay") suggests that it was once used as a feed crop. Traditionally, Trigonella foenum-graecum was used to cure a variety of illnesses. The biological and pharmacological effects of fenugreek, including its anti-diabetic, hypocholesterolemic, immunomodulatory, anti-toxic, anti-cataract, and antioxidant properties, were briefly reviewed in this study following a general discussion of its chemical constituents. The findings of these investigations offer a thorough comprehension of fenugreek's biological function.

 Abstract

Abstract: People today, especially students, are overburdened with mental exertion to the point where many suffer memory loss and impairment of focus. The mind's tendency to flit from one idea to the next renders it unfocused and unable to concentrate. Students who practice dhyana (meditation) gain a deeper understanding of their own self and experience a greater sense of calm and contentment. The results demonstrated that dhyana, concentration, and smriti have a substantial impact on students. Raj yoga's dhyana, or meditation, is a unique method of calming the mind (satang yoga). The process is voluntary at first, but thereafter becomes involuntary. Since there are no withdrawal symptoms, it is a very unique product. Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita's method is straightforward and doesn't necessitate the use of any external media, such as music or video. Even saints' practices like prekshya dhyana, transcendental meditation, etc. can be used. In the Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita's method, the approach is simple and straightforward. Hypertension increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, glaucoma, and kidney failure. Maintaining a blood pressure (BP) of 140/90 mm Hg or less is recommended to reduce the long-term effects of hypertension. Mediation aids with blood pressure management. Immediately, it lowers blood pressure, lowers the pulse, and increases cardiac strength, while the long-term effects of meditation regulate complex bio-chemical and brain processes to lower blood pressure. Hypertension and its complications can be better controlled when meditation is practiced on a regular basis.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: Yoga can improve physical and mental health by influencing hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and sympathetic nervous system. It develops the physical stability, balancing power in the body, auditory problem and helps in the healing of auditory problem. The objective of the study was to see the effect of asanas and micro exercises on auditory problem of headphone users. The students who frequently use headphones, were purposively selected, those who were having auditory problems (hearing loss) from various schools of sakti district, chhattisgarh. out of them, 20 students age ranging 14 - 19 years were randomly selected as the subjects for the study. Auditory problems of headphone users were selected as the dependent variables and asanas, and micro exercises were selected as independent variables. The participants' hearing was tested by using audiometer tools (pure tone audiometry test). The data were collected before and after the yoga training as pre data and post data from both the groups. Analysis of Co-variance (ANCOVA) was applied to see the significant difference between both the groups on auditory problem and level of significance was set at 0.05. It was concluded that a significant difference was found between both the groups for both right and left auditory problems. A significant effect of yoga training on auditory problems was found. Asanas and micro exercises have better responses after eight weeks training for both right and left auditory problems.

 Abstract

Cucumis sativus, commonly known as the cucumber, is a little, beautiful tree that is used for prayer. Blood sugar regulation, hydration, bone and gut health, cancer prevention, heart health, and wound healing were just a few of the many medical uses for the entire plant. Anthelmintic qualities were also used to treat diabetes. This review discusses the chemical components of C. sativus, biological activities of significant substances, pharmacological properties, plant description, traditional use, cucumber used in cosmetics, moisture content of cucumis sativus, and herbal cosmetics. It also emphasizes the need for additional research into the material that is currently available. C. sativus

 Abstract

Academics today face an array of challenges to their enthusiasm, including teaching students from diverse backgrounds with wavering levels of engagement with their studies. Furthermore, reform to their research tertiary education sector has seen increasingly measuring academic outcomes in respect of both teaching and research. Sometimes academics are feeling that a substantial part of their work is not recognized in a meaningful way, which may impact morale, intellectual time and autonomy. This limited recognition can result in academics' enthusiasm, especially towards teaching, waning. This could result in unfavorable outcomes, as an academic's lack of enthusiasm may have an adverse impact on student learning, may also affect their own wellbeing and, ultimately, be detrimental to the institution they work for. This paper focused on various factors such as; Social, Individual, Institutional and National factors that influenced academics' enthusiasm to engage in research and scholarly endeavors. In-depth interviews, observation and document analysis were done. Factors responsible for academics' research enthusiasm, included are social, national, institutional and individual factors. In order to enhance every academic' research enthusiasm, institutions should establish mentorship programs in research and scholarly writing, set up rotational leadership rules in research clusters to give each member a chance to be the "first author," and launch more series of journals as viable avenues for academics to publish. Encourages and aware of the global, national and local contexts of education and technology to researchers. The researcher also suggests some way towards supporting 'better' research in various areas.

 Abstract

The anterior region of the nasal septum. It has a rich capillary supply, called Kiesselbach's plexus, and is a common site from which nose bleeds arise. Kiesselbach plexus (Kiesselbach area or Little's area) is a vascular region of the anteroinferior nasal septum that comprises four arterial anastomoses: Anterior ethmoidal artery- a branch of the ophthalmic artery, Sphenopalatine artery- a branch of the maxillary artery, Greater palatine artery-a branch of the maxillary artery and Superior labial artery (septal branches)- a branch of the facial artery. The importance of this plexus lies in the fact that 90% of epistaxis occur in this area Little's area, also known as Kiesselbach's plexus, is a vascular area in the nose that's clinically important because it's a common site of nosebleeds and is responsible for warming inhaled air. Little's area is a common site of epistaxis (nose bleeds) in both paediatric and adult cases. So this article is focusing on clinical importance of Little's Area, Kiesselbach's plexus.
