Transgender representation in South Indian cinema has shifted from caricature and spectacle to narratives grounded in authenticity, struggle, and agency. This paper analyses three key films--Naanu Avanalla...Avalu (Kannada, 2015), Thangam from Paava Kadhaigal (Tamil, 2020), and Njan Marykutty (Malayalam, 2018)--to examine how gender identity, caste, social rejection, and personal resilience intersect within cinematic storytelling. Using Judith Butler's gender performativity, Susan Stryker's transgender studies framework, Halberstam's queer time, and Crenshaw's intersectionality, this study evaluates how films negotiate suffering, dignity, and empowerment. Audience reception from mainstream reviews and social discourse helps contextualize cultural shifts. Findings show that South Indian trans cinema balances realism and aspiration, exposing persistent violence while envisioning empowered futures.

Abstract: That Pakistan is a nation contrived artificially by the Muslim League and their benefactors in the then British colonial establishment, is a fact which has been proven repeatedly throughout history. Pakistan, a nation held together only by the iron fist of the mainly Punjabi Sunni elites of the Army, is riven with a multitude of movements demanding emancipation from the feudal elites of the country's armed forces and genuine democracy based on the inalienable right to self- determination. Among these, of prime importance is the Baloch struggle, a historic battle being waged by the doughty Baloch population, the inhabitants of Pakistan's largest province by area (Balochistan), a land enriched with minerals and abundant natural resources like rare earths, yet also one which has suffered the most at the hands of the Pakistani state. The Baloch are a proud people, having a storied past, dating back to the days of the Harappan civilization. This piece deals largely with the state sanctioned oppression which they have undergone and how their struggle today continues in defiance of the autocratic Pakistani state apparatus. It delineates several aspects of this phenomenon while dwelling upon the response of the Baloch.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s rise as India's dominant political force from 2014 to 2025 represents one of the most significant transformations in contemporary Indian politics. This paper investigates whether the party's repeated success in national and state elections reflects genuine "people's concerns"--such as aspirations for development, welfare, and national identity--or whether it is primarily a result of political strategy, organizational strength, and narrative construction. Using a mixed-method approach combining electoral data, survey research, secondary scholarly studies, and media analyses, this study argues that BJP's dominance stems from an interaction between societal demand and strategic political supply. The party's appeal to economic aspirations, welfare beneficiaries, middle-class voters, and Hindu identity politics worked synergistically with organizational capacity, digital mobilization, and narrative engineering. The paper concludes that BJP's victories cannot be explained by any single factor; instead, success emerged from an alignment between political strategy and evolving public concerns in India's rapidly changing socio-economic landscape

Optimal traffic flow in cities has to be achieved to reduce congestion, fuel consumption, and emissions. Fixed-timer traffic lights fill every street corner but are non-adaptive and introduce unnecessary inefficiencies and delays. In this paper, we introduce a Vehicle Density Traffic Control System (VDTCS) based on machine learning and image processing to optimize traffic flow in real time. The system processes real time video feeds from traffic cameras and estimates vehicle density using advanced object detection algorithms like YOLOv5. Through real-time dynamic traffic light control with real-time density, VDTCS optimizes traffic flow time by a significant margin over the state of the art. Experiments over a large variety of urban traffic conditions validated a 35% decrease in vehicle waiting time and a 20% decrease in fuel consumption during peak hours. The system was extremely efficient, scalable, accurate in processing high-density traffic conditions, and outperformed the state of the art. This paper establishes a solid foundation for AI based traffic flow control, demonstrating that machine learning and real-time data processing can revolutionize urban mobility. By optimizing congestion and fuel consumption, such systems can make cities intelligent, green, and livable.

Abstract This study investigates the mediating role of Work-Life Balance (WLB) in the relationship between Work Stress (WS) and Organisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) among police personnel in Madhya Pradesh, India. Utilizing a quantitative, cross-sectional design with a sample of N=178 officers, the research employed established scales for all three constructs. Data analysis using Pearson correlation and hierarchical multiple regression indicated that Work Stress significantly and negatively predicted OCB (?=-0.25, p=0.003 ). Crucially, when WLB (operationalized as high Work-Family Conflict, WFC) was introduced, the direct effect of WS on OCB became statistically non-significant (?=-0.10, p=0.211 ), while WLB itself demonstrated a strong negative relationship with OCB (?=-0.31, p=0.000 ). This provides strong evidence for full mediation, confirming that the destructive pathway from high occupational strain to reduced discretionary performance is channelled entirely through the erosion of the officers' personal resources (WLB/WFC). The consistently high self-reported OCB alongside severe stress further suggests the presence of Compulsory Citizenship Behaviour (CCB), an unsustainable reliance on employee goodwill to compensate for chronic organizational resource deficits, such as high vacancies and excessive working hours. The findings mandate structural reforms aimed at protecting personal time as a primary strategy for enhancing genuine OCB and overall workforce sustainability.

VALIDATION OF HPLC METHOD FOR PARACETAMOL TABLETS IN DOSAGE FORM *Ingale Asmita Lakshman;Pathan Sofiya Mukhtar; Kabade Madhav Marotirao;Miss.Yelam V.M(Kapse); Dr.Vishweshwar Dharashive Shivlingeshwar College Of Pharmacy ,Almala Latur, Maharashtra 413520 Abstract: - A simple, precise, and dependable HPLC method was established and validated for quantifying paracetamol in tablet formulations. The analysis utilized a C18 column with an optimized mobile phase composed of water and acetonitrile, which enabled sharp and well-defined peaks for paracetamol. Optimal flow rate and detection wavelength were determined through systematic experimentation to ensure consistent and reproducible results. Method validation was carried out following ICH guidelines, assessing parameters such as accuracy, precision, linearity, specificity, limit of detection (LOD), and limit of quantification (LOQ). The method demonstrated excellent linearity across the chosen concentration range, high recovery rates, and minimal variability. Additionally, no interference from tablet excipients was detected. These findings indicate that the developed HPLC method is robust, sensitive, and suitable for routine quality control of paracetamol tablets. Pashmina shawls hold a unique and revered position in the textile industry, celebrated for their unmatched luxury, intricate craftsmanship, and deep-rooted historical significance. Originating from the mountainous regions of Kashmir, these shawls are made using the fine undercoat wool of the Changthangi goats, renowned for their softness, warmth, and exclusivity. The artistry involved in their creation, from the delicate hand-spinning and weaving to the intricate embroidery, reflects a blend of skill, tradition, and cultural expression passed down through generations. This study explores regional differences in the creation of Pashmina shawls, illuminating the ways in which geographical and cultural factors impact design themes, craftsmanship, and processes. Additionally, it examines centuries-old techniques that have been maintained, such hand weaving on wooden looms and the painstaking dyeing procedures, and compares them to the difficulties presented by contemporary mass manufacturing and mechanization. Additionally, the study looks at how current market trends--such as shifting customer tastes, increased demand worldwide, and the emergence of fake goods--have an impact on the sustainability and authenticity of this traditional art.
