 Abstract

Siddha system of medicine is one of the oldest traditional systems of medicine, which originated from India and is practiced mostly in the southern part of this country for treating or managing various diseases including lifestyle disorders. The modern world facing a pandemic of Lifestyle disorders like hypertension, coronary artery disease, bronchial asthma, diabetes mellitus, obesity, chronic liver disease, psoriasis, arthritis, cancer, etc. Irregular lifestyle, unhealthy habits, inadequate exercise, and inadequate proper diets cause various lifestyle disorders. Yoga is very popular all over the world and is practiced for a healthy life. Asanas are now focused as the prime factor of Yoga. Practicing the different types of asanas for health is considered good and provides physical, mental, as well as spiritual benefits and cleanses the body. Regular practice of stretches, twists, bends, and inversions are the basic movements of the asanas and restores the strength and stamina of the body. Yogic practices play a significant role in the prevention and management of lifestyle disorders by reducing stress and giving energy to the body. Yogic diet, yogic Lifestyle, Yogic positive attitude, and various Yogic practices give the energy and the strength to the human being to live long and peacefully. This present study was done to find out the selected asanas used to help manage lifestyle disorders efficiently.

 Abstract

Herbs are plants valued for their medicinal, aromatic and flavourful properties.Typically used in the preparation of traditional medicines, as fragrance, cooking, herbs encompass a diverse group of plant species. Herbal tea is basically a mixture of different types of medicinal plant parts which have potent medicinal value in it. The aim of present review is to exemplify ingredients used in the formulation of herbal tea. It is a preparation which have the ability to boost up the immunity, relieve stress, keeps active without any tiredness and anxiety. The medicinal values of herbal tea (mixture of herbs) have maximum therapeutic benefits and suitable for consumption. The action of herbal tea is slow but it shows therapeutic effect for long time period.

 Abstract

Intracranial bleeding is a critical medical issue caused by blood flow within the skull or nearby spaces due to factors like high blood pressure, head injuries, or blood vessel ruptures. Prompt and accurate diagnosis is essential for better patient outcomes. To address this challenge, we employ powerful pre-trained models such as ResNet 101 and Inception V3 to identify crucial features in medical images, enhancing the model's ability to pinpoint key areas. The classification process utilizes a diverse range of machine learning and deep learning algorithms like AdaBoost and Logistic Regression, each with its unique strengths. By combining these methods, we can more precisely detect instances of intracranial bleeding. Evaluating our methodology with measures like accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and F1-score ensures the effectiveness and dependability of our tool for detecting brain hemorrhages.

 Abstract

Two sets of field experiments were conducted during the June-August months at the experimental farm of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Selaiyur of Chingleput district under irrigated conditions to trace the effect of integrated nutrient management and to assess the yield performance of sunflower +apiary farming system. The experiment consists of two main treatments; i.e, Sunflower alone (M1) ,Sunflower with apiary (M2) and nine sub treatments i.e, Control (S1), 100%RDF (S2), 100%RDF + Azospirillum (S3), 100% RDF +Phosphobacteria (S4), 100% RDF + Vermicompost (S5), 100%RDF+ Azospirillum + Phosphobacteria (S6), 100%RDF+ Vermicompost+ Azospirillum (S7), 100% RDF+ Vermicompost+ Phosphobacteria (S8), 100%RDF+ Vermicompost+ Azospirillum+ Phosphobacteria(S9) and it was laid out in split plot design with three replications .Highest performance for plant height, dry matter production, seeds/head, seed filling percentage, and seed yield were observed for the combined application of all three nutrient sources under sunflower + apiary ( M2) treatment by bee pollination. A sunflower crop combined with an apiary, however, had a more noticeable impact than a sunflower crop alone. In addition to the available natural feeding sources, the apiary should be given superior feeding for a longer period of time. Two times every week, 500ml of sugar syrup is provided as food. The development of apiaries in sunflower fields would bring additional compensation and guarantee the growers' ability to support themselves . Value of growing energy costs and restricted input availability and further the transition towards natural farming have led to an increase in the use of integrated nutrient management, which recycles organic waste and uses renewable sources of bio fertilizers. This study looked into how organic manures, inorganic fertilizers, and bio fertilizers (INM) affected sunflower growth and productivity as influenced in combination with apiary integration.

 Abstract

The environmental issues related to the textile industry have gained global attention as it is producing large quantities of pollution and waste with various toxic substances and chemicals. Due to the growing awareness among people about the pollution caused by the textile industry, the chemical processes of the textile industry are being replaced with the bio-processing process. Textile bio-processing has become the preferred option to overcome the consequences of chemical treatment, as it is less harmful to the environment and also to the textiles. The use of enzymes in the textile industry can be considered the best possible use of the bio-processing technique. The use of enzyme treatments in the textile industry is very promising, as they are environmentally friendly, produce high-quality products, and reduce the use of water, energy, and time.

 Abstract

The National Education Policy 2020 is a visionary and comprehensive document that aims to improve the access, equity and quality of education in India. The policy emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach in teacher training and emphasizing not only subject expertise but also a broader understanding of child psychology, pedagogical innovations, and socio-emotional learning. This study aims to find out the teacher educators' perception towards teacher education programme suggested by NEP 2020 with regards to their gender, qualification and experience. In this present study investigators have employed a descriptive survey method to explore the teacher educators' perception towards teacher education programme suggested by NEP 2020. The population of proposed study constituted all the secondary level teacher educators of Odisha. From that investigators selected 5 secondary level Teacher Education Institutions randomly and from each investigators select 10 teacher educators randomly. Data were analyzed by using mean, Standard Deviation and t-test. This study found that most of the teacher educators have balanced perception towards Teacher Education Programme. There exists no significant difference between male and female teacher educators' perception, high qualified and low qualified teacher educators' perception, and high experienced and less experienced teacher educators' perception towards Teacher Education Programme suggested by NEP 2020.

 Abstract

Breast cancer is a significant global public health concern, demands early and accurate diagnosis for improved patient well-being.The most prevalent type of breast cancer is IDC (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma)The existing system's ensemble approach leverages transfer learning, combining shallow CNNs with MobileNetV2, to effectively classify breast cancer from histopathology images. The lightweight ensemble transfer learning with robust preprocessing techniques to advance breast cancer classification pre-trained deep learning models, including MobileNetv2, VGG-16, and Xception intricate features are extracted from mammographic images. Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE), ensuring a balanced representation of benign and malignant cases during model training. The extract features from these models create a mammographic image representation, enabling classification by the XG Boost algorithm. In the intersection of machine learning and deep learning domains, the primary objectives of this research are focused on enhancing model performance assessed through critical evaluation metrics such as F1 score, recall, and overall accuracy. The main aim to demonstrate the effectiveness of the holistic approach, contributing to improved breast cancer diagnosis precision and efficiency.

 Abstract

This study delves into the intricate relationship between dietary habits and visceral fat among 200 male and female adults who visited SIMS hospital. The study's cross-sectional analysis reveals distinctive patterns in anthropometric measures across various categories. The correlation between dietary habits and visceral fat accumulation highlights intriguing associations, such as visceral fat accumulation negatively correlating with healthy food choice and positively correlating with appetite, sedentary behaviour, irregular meal time, calorie restriction. The ANOVA results strengthen the evidence for a substantial relationship between the dietary habit and visceral fat accumulation in male and female adults. the dietary habits influence the visceral fat accumulation between male and female significant difference by 24% where male got (63%) and female got (87%) visceral fat percentage out of survey population. This research contributes valuable insights into the complex interplay between dietary habits and visceral fat accumulation within the participants.

Famous Artist Hema Upadhyay has depicted the hustle and bustle of Mumbai in her art works and this has been highlighted by a research study. This research study includes - dream a wish, wish a dream, Glass house, Killing site, Loco-foco- motto, the Nymph and the adult. And she has also used the landscape and sample surfaces of Mumbai and shown the social and economic inequalities. The objective of the presented research paper is to " study the art works of Indian Contemporary Installation Artist Hema Upadhyay" and encourage/ appreciate her important contribution in installation art.
