 Abstract

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) will shortly be able to purchase shares in India. These days, this is one of the main ways that foreigners use their overseas portfolios to invest in India. To purchase and sell stocks, remit and repatriate cash, foreign exchange investors (FIIs) are required by the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA) to register with SEBI, obtain authorization from the Reserve Bank of India, and open bank accounts in foreign currencies and rupees. Examining the expanding trends of foreign institutional investment (FII) in India is the aim of the current study. A study has examined the relationship between the returns of the FII and the NIFTY 50 Index. The study with reference to the daily closing prices or another index may provide different sets of results. Also the regression only indicates the dependent and independent relationship and does not guarantee the causation effect. Based on the findings, various investors can learn the behaviour of the relationship and impact of FII with the index returns which can further be used to earn above average returns for Future Investment.

 Abstract

This is an era of information explosion which is greatly fueled by internet and online means of communication. Updates on recent advances in medicine are made every day. Aims & objectives : The study is a descriptive survey conducted among medical practitioners to find out the popular websites , mode, manner of use & time spend , extent of its use ,current usage trends , up-gradation of their knowledge & skills, particular advantages for improvement in techniques, authenticity and precautionary measures while using the websites.. Materials & Methods: 200 medical practitioners with at least a postgraduate degree and practicing in multi-specialty hospitals in Navi Mumbai a questionnaire based on 19 questions- Likert Scale was used to analyze the respondent's data. Result was calculated by detailed analysis- methods of SPSS used - Chi square test showed significant value P < 0.05 & its Correlation, Group Statistics, Independent Samples Test, and Cross tabulation tests. It showed 91 gave first preference to Facebook & least to Blogging services as 2. The Websites used once a week and preferred search engines Google 87. The purpose for using online forums as listed by practitioners was 66 for update of MCI guidelines while least as 1 to provide contact details of physicians. Resources preferred during diagnosis and to learn some new technical knowledge or skills were 44 for online means & 28 only offline means. Conclusion: All these variables are directly proportional to each other and are linked to patterns of usage and habits of professionals regarding their preferences while using online sources of information.

 Abstract

Abstract-Digital watermarking is the method of hiding digital data in any form of multimedia data such as image, audio, video, etc. Digital watermarks are used for verifying the integrity and authenticity of multimedia data and also used to prevent fraud and forgery. This paper introduces a straightforward and reliable watermarking algorithm employing the third and fourth least significant bits (LSB) technique. Compared to traditional LSB methods, the proposed algorithm demonstrates enhanced robustness in concealing data within images. Specifically, the algorithm embeds two bits within the third and fourth LSB positions. Experimental findings indicate superior quality of the resulting watermarked image.

Gesture recognition is considered important for the development of business 4.0 technologies in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI); It allows computers to capture and interpret gestures to execute commands without the need for a physical touch device. Media Pipe provides pre-trained hand models for extracting important symbols and hand gesture features in live video streams. These core features provide access to a proprietary machine learning model. OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) is an open source computer vision and machine learning library. It provides a variety of tools, functions, and algorithms for a variety of tasks related to computer vision, image processing, and video analysis in real time. The integration of Media Pipe and OpenCV paves the way for significant advances in human-computer interaction through gesture recognition. This project explores the use of this new technology to enable rapid translation and response to human movements. Gesture recognition has a wide range of exciting applications, from improving accessibility to transforming gaming experiences and interactive experiences.

 Abstract

Oxidative stress (OS) can cause harm to various molecules and cellular structures, which can change how well organs and systems function. The body uses both endogenous and exogenous mechanisms to accumulate OS. A growing body of research indicates that OS plays a role in the physiopathology of several chronic illnesses that need long-term pharmacological intervention. Modifications to systemic OS may be a result of prolonged treatment. In this review, we go over how OS may play a role in the pathogenic mechanisms of certain chronic illnesses, the benefits of pharmaceutical treatments that promote antioxidant activity, and potential adjuvant antioxidant substitutes. A class of extremely reactive molecules called reactive oxygen species (ROS) is produced during the metabolism of oxygen. Superoxide radicals, hydroxyl radicals, and hydrogen peroxide molecules are examples of ROS that are frequently produced as byproducts of biological reactions or by external stimuli. A wealth of evidence suggests that ROS play a role in the onset of degenerative diseases. Research indicates that certain substances, particularly those derived from natural sources, have the ability to shield cells from free radical damage.

Abstract: This paper attempts to analyze the psyche of an adolescent who is craving to be free and independent. Ruskin Bond through his short story "How Far Is The River" tries to emulate the behavior of an adolescent who is filled with curiosity and trying to satisfy his enthusiasm at any cost. Through his journey we can study the impulsive and erratic nature of decision making that an adolescent makes and to what extent they might go to quench their thirst of knowing the unknown. Their attitude towards anyone who tries to cage their freedom changes instantly from being rational to being judgmental. They tend discard the advises and opinions of people who are restricting them from what they want. Ruskin Bond tries to mirror these eruptive behavioral substances of adolescents through the character of the Boy.

The drugs that come under the BCS class II show less solubility in water.  Abstract

Good Governance in ancient political thought Anita Das Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science Kakojan College Mob no 6000019906 The concept of Good Governance has gained prominence around the world in recent times. However, the philosophy of good governance has its origin in the ancient period. The objective behind this paper is to analyze the different conceptions related to good governance which is found in the ancient Indian political thought.The idea of Good Governance is as old as Indian civilization. Almost all ancient Indian Scriptures like Jataka tales, Shanti Parva-Anushasanparva of Mahabharat, Valmiki's Ramayana Shukracharyas'Nitisar, Panini's Ashtadhyayi, Kautilya's Arthashashtra, describe the concept of good governance in one way or the other. In all ancient writings Raj Dharma is given utmost importance. It found that rulers were bound by dharma, popularly called 'Raj Dharma', which precisely meant for ensuring good governance to the people. Traditional view point emphasizes more on rule of law, procedures and processes. While the present view point stresses more on citizen centric approach, transparency, accountability, equity, sustainable development and inclusiveness for vibrant Democracy. The research problem addresses the impact of colonialism on the portrayal of India, examining how Doyle's narratives mirror the prevailing colonial mindset of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Utilizing a post-colonial theoretical framework, the study delves into the Orientalist tendencies present in Doyle's work, focusing on the exotic and enigmatic mystique associated with India. The methodology involves a qualitative analysis of Doyle's stories, with a focus on the positive portrayal of India as an alluring and fascinating land, as well as the negative elements that perpetuate Western stereotypes and colonial perspectives. The study also examines the implications of Doyle's portrayal, highlighting the reinforcement of imperialist ideologies and the impact of colonial power dynamics on the depiction of Indian characters. The findings reveal a complex and nuanced representation of India in the Sherlock Holmes stories, reflecting a blend of fascination, fear, stereotype, dismissal, and control within the Eurocentric colonial narrative.
