 Abstract

Abstract My agog and realm of Willa Cather make me to reread and review her writings. This novel Lucy Gay Heart, which is usually placed in her later period of her career, attracts the researcher a lot. Willa and Lucy are sailing in the journey of depression. Lucy is a romantic girl wit lot of dreams. But unlike Thea, Lucy is not working hard to reach her dreams. Lucy stops to dream and begins to live a silent life. For Cather, silent speaks more than words. Willa Cather novels attract the readers by its title. Lucy Gay Heart also does the same. Every one falls on Lucy and her romance. Harry is dormant, but his silence is remarked in the last part of the story. Both Lucy and Harry are bounded with depressed feelings. This paper is an attempt to bring out psycho analysis on Lucy Gay heart

 Abstract

Despite of having huge amount of water on earth, the shortage of clean drinking water is very severe because of its salinity. Various methods to convert saline water in to distill water, using conventional energy sources are already there in to existence. Typically Electricity is being utilized to convert saline water in to fresh potable, which is indirectly responsible for environmental pollution and are expensive as well. Therefore, a device is needed which can work economically and environment friendly. Solar Stills are therefore the best solution to resolve both the problems. But, the productivity of solar still is very low hence the researchers are working hardly to enhance the performance of the solar stills using various augmentations. Out of many alternatives, one of the ways to enhance the still efficiency is by using the wick of different materials. This research paper highlights the effect of performance improvement of the various types of solar stills using different wick materials like cotton cloth, charcoal cloth, wool, water coral fleece, jute, coir mate, wood pulp, paper wick, polystyrene sponge etc.

 Abstract

As fresh water demand is growing day by day in the present times of rapid growth in terms of population and industrial development; the solar desalination is found to be quite economical process for distilling the saline water throughout the world. The present paper reviews the development in the field of solar still with the various thermal energy storage material to improve the performance of still. From the review on research carried out by the various researchers, it has been found that solar still is more efficient and economical in compare to conventional or without thermal energy storage material solar still. Thermal energy storage material improves the thermal performance of solar still and to make it more economic.

 Abstract

In this paper, another hang based receptive force control procedure is recommended that is appropriate for usage in self-governing low voltage micro grids. The proposed strategy misuses the possibilities of including an element virtual inductance circle to adjust for the voltage drop contrasts created by line impedances. What's more, it gives a huge virtual inductance at the yield terminals of a dispersed era (DG) source to wipe out the coupling between the dynamic and receptive forces. At long last, the productivity of the proposed strategy to adapt to the fore described difficulties is analyzed utilizing extensive reenactment ponders.

 Abstract

Sugar industry is one of the major industries which have been included in the polluting industries list by the World Bank. Different pollution monitoring agencies like State and National Pollution Control Boards have been made compulsory for each industry to set up a waste water treatment plants. Sugar industry wastewater is characterized by high biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and other pollution load. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the operating parameters such as applied voltage, number of electrodes, and reaction time on a real Sugar wastewater in the electrocoagulation process. For this purpose copper and Aluminium electrodes were used. It has been shown that the removal efficiency of COD, BOD5, and TSS increased with increasing the reaction time. Copper Electrode having more efficiency removal than aluminium electrode. The results indicate that electrocoagulation is efficient and able to achieve 79.25% COD removal, 76.65% BOD5 removal and 84% TSS removal at 6 V during 60 min at pH 6 in copper electrodes . Finally, the results demonstrated the technical feasibility of electrocoagulation process using Copper electrodes as a reliable technique for removal of pollutants from sugar wastewaters.

 Abstract

The word low threshold situation is a now frequently appeared word in present era. Low threshold situation is a new phenomenon. It is a new pattern of war. One can understand it by considering it as a war between the Hot & Cold War. Generally we find such kind of conflict only in the area where a group of people are have unsatisfied attitude with the State. Hence it can also be termed as war between a state and sub state actors. This is war by a group who intends to gain independence by separating a part of land from State. Thus it can be seen as the conflict arising due to greed of power, where few political people misguide the mass to gain power by violence.

 Abstract

Microfinance provides financial services to low-income individuals who wants to use for productive purpose and who lack access to credit from bank. The intervention of micro finance through SHGs to various rural women has made then financially independent and empowered socially. The functioning of SHGs amongst rural areas has alleviate poverty level up to some extent. The Objectives of the study are- i) To analyze Economically Empowerment of Women. ii)To study the Psychological well being of the SHGs members iii)To study the various area covered by SHGs. The study was under taken from Ten Self Help Group which were considered for the collection of Data. A structured interview schedule was prepared by the investigators for collecting information from the rural SHGs which are engaged in micro finance. The researcher has used bar graph for graphical representation and interpretation was done from the graph. A Cross tabulation of psychological variables with different age groups is used for analysis purpose. The existence of micro finance in rural areas is commendable for building a self confidence, Courage and skill development .The movement of SHGs members along with groups and leaders has lead them to participate on various social welfare activities with good spirit and dedication. The existence of micro finance has transform the psychological behavior and empowered the rural women both socially and economically.

 Abstract

Ubiquitous Knowledge Discovery is another research area at the intersection of machine learning and data mining with mobile and distributed systems. A high level framework and various objects of studies is the main characteristic for analyzing ubiquitous knowledge discovery systems is introduced in this paper. Next, various cases from a wide scope of use territories are reviewed and examined regarding this structure. In light of this material, essential attributes of this field are recognized and various research challenges are examined. The dissemination of data stream frameworks, remote systems and cell phones motivates the requirement for an effective information investigation instrument fit for picking up experiences about these consistent data streams. Ubiquitous data mining (UDM) is concerned about this issue. UDM is the time- critical procedure of pattern disclosure in information streams in a remote domain. In this paper, the best in class of mining information streams is given and our approach in handling the issue is displayed. The paper likewise features the tended to and open issues in the field.

 Abstract

: Wearable Watch is a popular technology in the field of IoT which autonomously senses the various body parameters without any need of human intervention. This paper tells how a wearable watch is used to sense the various health parameters using sensors and the use of BLE technology to transfer the data from the embedded board to the mobile application and also covers sending of alert messages in case of emergency. The descriptive aspects covered in this paper are: 1)sensing various health parameters such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate etc, 2)sending alert messages in case of emergencies through a mobile application using BLE technology.
