 Abstract

In the increasing number of populations, the need for digitization and reducing human effort has become a need. Digitization helps to use time more efficiently. The basic attraction of any automated system is reducing human efforts, time and errors due to human negligence. Previously we used to have a manual hard copy of records but now we prefer having everything in our laptop, we prefer to search specific data by touching few keys, we want to have everything at our screen. This project is about developing an online system where the counselling of students can take place and can update regularly. This project is chosen to save time and resources of counsellors as well as students and to overcome the existing drawbacks in maintaining records. This project can be used by the main system admin, counsellors and students who can update specific assigned usability data regularly.

 Abstract

Under a generalized partially linear model $Y=old{X}^{'}underset{sim}{Gamma}+g(old{W})+mathcal{E}$ with $old{X}=(X_1,ldots,X_p)'inmathbb{R}^p$ and $old{W}=(W_1,ldots,W_q)'inmathbb{R}^q$ being the parametric and nonparametric regressors respectively and $g(.,ldots,.)$ being a Lipschitz continuous function and $mathcal{E}$ being random error, we are motivated to test whether $(old{X},old{W})$ and $mathcal{E}$ are independent or not. The test statistics in this regard are developed based on a very traditional nonparametric measure of association Spearman's rank correlation coefficient $ ho_s$ and the test statistics are constructed upon general order differences of the observed and estimated responses, since the independence of the joint regressors and error finally implies the independence between general order difference of $Y$ and that of estimated $Y$ under certain conditions. By defining a properly defined sequence of contiguous alternatives, the test is performed to achieve consistency, and the asymptotic powers of the test statistics are computed for rejection of the null hypothesis suggesting the independence.

 Abstract

Visually impaired individuals face significant challenges in daily life, including difficulty navigating environments, reading, and recognizing people. Traditional aids like canes and guide dogs, while helpful, fall short of providing comprehensive solutions. To address these issues, this research explores AI-powered smart glasses as an innovative tool designed to enhance the independence and mobility of the visually impaired. These glasses utilize advanced AI technologies such as computer vision, object detection, text detection and natural language processing to provide real-time feedback, enabling users to detect obstacles, read text, and recognize faces through audio cues. By reviewing the latest advancements in this field, and by studying other research papers, this paper examines the potential of AI-powered smart glasses to transform the lives of visually impaired individuals. Furthermore, we propose novel improvements to make these devices more affordable and accessible, aiming to bridge the gap between technology and disability support.

 Abstract

Post colonialism in literature explores diversifying themes such as imperialism, hybridity, ambivalence, mimicry and liminality with the dominance and amalgamation of different cultures under one roof. The theory of hybridity was embarked in the field of bio sciences (botany and biology), but later Homi K. Bhabha used this theory in the field of literature and philosophy which has become a debatable and often discussed topic in literature. Homi K Bhabha coined this term Hybridity in The Location of Culture published in 1994. The concept of hybridity clearly shows how two very different cultures blend into one new culture and redefine the beliefs and values of the third nations. The present paper is going to throw light on how an indigenous tribe from Amazon rainforest hybridized, but still sustains its culture and tradition in the novel The Storyteller by Mario Vergas Llosa. Peruvian Spanish author, Mario Vergas Llosa won Nobel Prize in 2010 for writing in historical and political genre. Most of his works investigate the themes from his own region, Peru and his community. His major works explored myths, struggle for freedom, social evils and community culture in different zones of the world. Llosa wrote his novel 'El Hablador'(1987) translated in English by the title of 'The Storyteller' in 1989.The novel The Storyteller is a replete of theme of hybridity depicting narratives and challenges of Machinguenga tribe and their transformation to new set norms of storytelling and acceptance for certain issues of the primitive taboos such as physical disabilities, witch doctoring, supremacy of male sex, animism etc.

 Abstract

Uses of pesticide have been increased from year to year for enhancement of crop and control of pests. Organophosphates are the class of pesticides which are widely used among all agricultural chemicals. Most OP's are used as insecticides, rarely purposed as fungicides or herbicides. Factors like farm pesticide drift, mixing and spraying pesticides, use of personal techniques, water floods from sprayed areas, wearing contaminated clothes, eating, and drinking, smoking, and hot weather are common in our countries. Such factors increase the risk of administration of OP's into the human body and their relatives. The continuous exposure of these OP's to humans results in lethal and mortal effects on the body. Highly intensified exposures may result in various dysfunctions and disability in human regulatory systems (neurological, respiratory, digestive, circulatory and tissues). In this paper we are going to review the chronic diseases/dysfunctions that are caused due to ingestion of organophosphate inside the human regulatory system. We will understand the scenario of the havoc that can be caused by such pesticides. The objective of this paper is to brief the ancient as well as current risk that has influenced the normal bodily working of humans. It is also focused on pesticide as suicidal as well as homicidal weapons in society.

 Abstract

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) represent a revolutionary integration of physical processes, computational resources, and communication capabilities, enabling a wide range of dynamic applications. However, this integration has also led to an increase in cyber-attacks targeting CPS, posing significant threats to their functionality, reliability, and integrity. Among these cyber threats, deception attacks are particularly menacing as they involve injecting false data into the system, compromising sensors or controllers, and potentially corrupting critical information. This system leverages advanced machine learning algorithms to analyze the vast and diverse data generated within CPS. It identifies hidden patterns that could indicate potential threats, thereby enhancing the system's resilience against cyber- attacks. Our approach conceptualizes CPS as a network of agents operating within a leader-follower structure. This hierarchical model improves communication and coordination among agents, creating a fortified defense against cyber-attacks. The primary objective is to strengthen CPS security through early detection and mitigation of deception attacks. By harnessing the power of machine learning algorithms within this leader-follower agent network framework, we enhance the system's ability to withstand cyber threats. Furthermore, our model empowers the system to proactively identify and counter potential attacks, safeguarding the integrity and functionality of CPS in an increasingly interconnected digital landscape.

 Abstract

The potential of ensemble learning algorithms to employ numerous learners for the sake of higher predicted accuracy makes them more effective for classification. This essay is a comparison of the potential of RandomForestClassifier, GradientBoostingClassifier, and CatBoostClassifier to sentiment classify. We are comparing the performance of each of the classifiers on an ordered words dataset with sentiment labels with different factors for general consideration and computational cost. Here we are comparing RandomForestClassifier, GradientBoostingClassifier, and CatBoostClassifier. CatBoostClassifier is the best on imbalanced categorical feature data and achieves a highest 96.1% accuracy and 0.95 F1-score and AUC-ROC of 0.98. It is seconded by GradientBoostingClassifier with good generalization but at the price of costly computation at 94.2%. Though RandomForestClassifier is less expensive, it has no support for handling feature interactions and achieves a highest 94.67% accuracy. In this paper, sentiment analysis is further boosted because it is being used for the comparison of trade-offs among three most commonly used ensemble learning models.
