MEMS capacitive accelerometers are key component in measuring motion and vibration in wide range of systems. The realization z- axis accelerometer for high-precision motion detection is still challenging, owing to parasitic capacitances, ambient noise, and fabrication anomalies. To address this, we propose an improved z-axis accelerometer design that incorporates four additional fixed pads to enhance differential capacitance measurement. These fixed pads provide a stable reference, allowing for more precise detection of capacitance changes in the proof mass. The area of each fixed pad is carefully calculated to be equal to the sum of the anchor area and 1/16th of the proof mass area, optimizing sensitivity and reducing errors. This design leads to increased performance, decreased cross-axis interference, and improved signal stability. Through improving capacitance measurement, our method aspires to support in developing of more precise and reliable MEMS accelerometers for next generation sensing applications.

This paper examines the impact of World War I on colonial troops, focusing on their recruitment, battlefield experiences, and post-war consequences. While previous scholarship has primarily analyzed the war from a European perspective, this study highlights the role of soldiers from British and French colonies. Using archival records, letters, and secondary literature, the research explores how these troops contributed to the war effort and how their participation shaped nationalist movements in the post-war period. The findings reveal that despite their significant sacrifices, colonial soldiers faced discrimination and were often denied the rights and recognition given to European soldiers. This study contributes to a broader understanding of the global dimensions of World War I and its long-term effects on colonial societies.

Sambalpur is the hub of Western Odisha. It has unique cultural heritage. The Odia Movement in the 19th century precisely aimed as safeguard the Odia language and culture. The period from 1862 to 1947 saw remarkable progress in the field of western education in Sambalpur. Along with the spread of English Education, the modern ideas like democracy, sovereignty of the people, rationalism and humanism made their entry into Sambalpur. Socio-Cultural life of Sambalpur were deeply influenced by these ideas. The far reaching changes took place in the Socio-Cultural life of the people of Sambalpur after the establishment of Zilla School in 1852 A.D. The Political consciousness began to grow. The language agitation began to emerge. In fact, the foundation of modern Sambalpur laid of new epoch in the history of Sambalpur was ushred in. The active leaders of Sambalpur like Balabhadra Supkar, Braja Mohan Pattanaik, Mahanta Bihari Das, Madan Mohan Mishra, and Sripati Mishra urged for a separate political identity of their own. The cause of the Odia language and Odia culture was espoused by local Newspaper particularly "Sambalpur Hitaisini". In creating a strong awakening for political identity of the scattered Odia race, credit should be given to sir Basudev Sudhal Dev, Bhima Bhoi, Gangadhar Meher and Brajamohan Panda spread of education proved to be the most powerful tool for bringing about the much immediate social change among the depressed class people. The Harijan movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi for welfare of Harijan achieved a great success in Sambalpur as well as other parts of Odisha. Progress in Education opened up a new vision for the Odia, women of Sambalpur. A wind of change, blowing already in other progressive province, was being awaited eagerly.

Purpose To empirically investigate how various attributes like financial attributes, technical attributes, infrastructure attributes influence the purchase decision of the customer to buy electric two wheelers. Design/methodology/approach The information reported in this study was gathered through a self-administered online survey of Hyderabad city customers. Data from 200 online customers in the Hyderabad city is evaluated. Findings The results of a survey sample analysis of 200 customers who unequivocally stated that financial attributes, technical attributes, infrastructure attributes positively influence their purchase decision to buy two wheelers. Originality The study contributes to investigate how various attributes like relative purchase price, Range, battery life, A daily distance, charging time, charging point network influence the customer's purchase decision of two wheelers. Research limitation/Implications The research has several limitations. First data were collected in Hyderabad city in the Telangana state of India. As a result, these findings may not be applicable to other areas of India. The authors want to apply the same study approach to other parts of the nations in order to investigate the similarities and differences between them. Second the sample size is confined to 200 of the respondents who preferred buy electric vehicles for domestic purpose. Third the study is restricted to urban area only. The author overlooked the semi-urban and rural areas. Practical Implications Based on the findings, manufacturers should guarantee that electric scooters/ bikes have high-quality performance in terms of expanding driving range and decreasing recharging time. Policymakers should create roadmaps for electric scooters/bikes, beginning with the transition from traditional scooters/bikes to electric scooters/bikes. Furthermore, creating public charging infrastructure, which is the essential foundation for running electric scooters/bikes, should be prioritised. Finally, producers should conduct research and development to create a product that will increase the reputation of commuters, because commuters with more face consciousness are more inclined to pursue brand-name and high-priced items in order to improve their reputation. Social Implications People purchase electric scooters/bikes for a variety of reasons, including the fact that they are a fun, compact, rapid, and inexpensive mode of transportation when compared to other vehicles. Another reason people buy is that it is a more ecologically responsible method to go around; the sensation of being eco-friendly while cruising around brings comfort. We all know that electric scooters/bikes are constantly advertised as an environmentally benign mode of transportation. When compared to other forms of transportation, electric scooters/bikes are relatively ecologically friendly since their rechargeable battery does not contaminate the air throughout a trip, resulting in zero emissions.

This paper is a comparative study of the deception and illusion that is said to be brought by fortune-telling in Karel Capek's "The Fortune Teller" and in Aaron Shepard's "The Forty Fortunes: A Tales of Iran." Both stories view how faith in the advancement of prophecy could affect society and psychology; however, they approach the subject matter in culturally different ways and with narrative strategy. A comparison and the analysis of these stories through the lens of a Lacanian model will show us how humans build their realities and how social structures may allow propelling of such illusions. Madame Meyer, the charlatan fortune teller, who gets her clients to agitate in hope and fear so as to gain most, features in Capek's satirical tale. When analysed talking through the Lacanian lens, the complete belief of these clients in her fabricated prophecies brings to light their reliance on Symbolic order- the world of language, social convention, and external forces that organize their perception and experience it in the world. Ironically, however, Madame Meyer herself is trapped into it when the authorities mistake her really exceptional access to clairvoyance for her assertions. This makes the irony more resonant because it makes the naivety of society manifest even to humankind's various search for meaning outside themselves, glaringly false as those symbols may be. Thus, this story turns satirical at the very foundations upon which societal legitimacy is built. This tale from shepard, enriched by Iranian folkfore, is the tale of Ahmed's transformation, the poor young men whose identity is prophesied by a fortune teller. Achievements and self-constructions of Ahmad after that reflected the Imaginary of Lacan. His identity construction and action are so deeply rooted in his belief internalized as the prophecy; it demonstrates how seemingly prescriptive fate can generate a self-fulfilling prophecy. Such a cycle therefore invests the contention made by Lacan that man is inevitably caught up in circles of misrecognition, obliterating the line between perceived externalities and internalities. This research compares and contrasts these two tales to shed light on how deception occurs in different psychological and cultural circumstances. Capek's tale exposes the exploitation of fate through the vehicle of satire, while Shepard's tale goes into exploring how indeed the very powers of belief shape destinies. They each show how deeply belief molds human action, thus creating the conjuncture at which reality and fiction collide. Such a conjuncture of boundaries abides by Lacan theories, where individuals inevitably oscillate between and among the complex interplay among the Imaginary, the Symbolic, and the Real in an effort to know themselves and the world around them.

This study examines the use of didacticism in Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and Suzanne Collins's The Hunger Games, two seminal works of dystopic/utopic literature. Through critically analyzing the novel's narrative structures, character development, and thematic concerns, this research reveals how Atwood and Collins employ didacticism to critique oppressive societal norms and promote critical thinking. The study argues that the didacticism in these novels serves as a powerful tool for social commentary, encouraging readers to reflect on the dangers of totalitarianism, patriarchy, and economic inequality. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of dystopian/utopian literature in shaping cultural discourse and promoting social change by exploring how didacticism in The Handmaid's Tale and The Hunger Games shapes reader responses and promotes social critique.
