The increasing frequency and severity of terrorist attacks, both domestically and internationally, have heightened concerns about the safety of our infrastructure. With population growth rapidly accelerating, cities and towns are expanding at an unprecedented rate. Traditional buildings are generally not designed to withstand the immense forces generated by explosions due to the massive loads involved and the high cost of construction and design. A blast results in blast loading, which is the sudden and rapid release of stored energy. This type of load poses a significant threat to buildings, causing damage both externally and internally. Like wind and earthquake forces, blast loads are dynamic and need to be accurately calculated. This study focuses on analysing blast loads for a G+12 storey building, taking into account two variations in charge weights (100 kg and 200 kg) and standoff distances (20 m and 30 m), while incorporating shear walls and bracing systems. The research, titled "Comparative Study on Different Types of Buildings under the Effect of Blast Load," calculates the blast parameters according to IS 4991:1968 and applies them as joint loads to the structure. The study then examines the building's responses, including storey drift and displacement, to assess its performance under these extreme conditions.

The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 allows either the husband or wife to seek "Divorce" on the ground of "Cruelty". This Act has introduced the grounds for divorce under Section 13, which allows the parties to petition in a competent court for a divorce decree. Dissolution of a marriage required one spouse to be found guilty of behaviour that fundamentally undermined the marriage. However, cruelty refers to any conduct which may cause reasonable apprehension in the mind of the petitioner (appellant) that cruelty is harmful or injurious to live with the respondent. Cruelty may be physical or mental, intentional or unintentional, and is a subjective concept which differs in each case depending on the facts and circumstances. The Hon'ble Supreme Court explained and decided the various aspects of divorce, cruelty, marriage and Hindu Marriage Act through its various Case Laws. In this paper, besides cruelty and related issues, certain important Case Laws have been put forth, so as to overcome the grievance and solution of divorce.

The global plastic pollution crisis necessitates a shift towards sustainable alternatives, and bioplastics emerge as a promising solution. This study explores the development of next-generation bioplastics derived from renewable, biodegradable sources such as agricultural waste, algae, and microbial polymers. Unlike conventional bioplastics, which often compromise on durability or cost-effectiveness, our approach integrates nanotechnology and bioengineering to enhance mechanical strength, flexibility, and decomposition rate. We propose a novel bioplastic formulation that balances sustainability with high-performance properties, making it suitable for diverse applications--from packaging to medical devices. Our research also investigates enzymatic degradation pathways to accelerate biodegradability without harming ecosystems.

Background : Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a heterogeneous group of inherited connective tissue disorders, characterized by joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility. Though most women with hypermobile EDS experience uncomplicated pregnancies, awareness of potential complications such as recurrent joint dislocations, autonomic pain, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is crucial. Early diagnosis and subtype characterization aid in pre-pregnancy counselling and help manage obstetric and anaesthetic risks. Case Presentation : A 27-year-old primigravida with EDS arthrochalasia type 2 presented with joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and fragility. Genetic testing confirmed the diagnosis. The pregnancy was largely uneventful, but she experienced pelvic girdle pain. At 36 weeks of gestation, she underwent an emergency caesarean section due to maternal request. No complications were noted intra-operatively or post-operatively, and both mother and baby had a good outcome. Conclusion: Increased awareness of EDS during pregnancy, coupled with a multi-disciplinary approach, can result in favorable maternal and fetal outcomes. Early diagnosis and tailored care are essential in minimizing obstetric and anaesthetic risks.

Electric vehicles (EVs) in India represent a transformative shift towards sustainable transportation, driven by government initiatives and growing environmental awareness. The Indian government aims for significant EV adoption by 2030, targeting 30% of total vehicle sales. By 2030, 30 percent of Indian vehicles are expected to be electric. In order to adapt to electric vehicles, the government is working to develop a framework of policies for these vehicles and associated industries, such as the production of batteries, charging stations, and raw materials. This paper aims to compare the operational aspects and environmental implications of battery electric vehicles and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. When developing a policy framework to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles, the paper stands out for emphasizing a few crucial factors. In light of the findings, a few policy recommendations are offered for a more sustainable framework that will enable electric vehicles to be successfully adapted for the future in India. As a solution to the Indian industry and environment, the automotive industry is moving toward electric vehicles. Notwithstanding the implementation of EV policies by governments, the market for electric vehicles is currently quite small. This paper will analyze the compatibility of EVs in India and examine how easy it is to use EVs in the country.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterised by severe and violent behavioural issues that are referred to as "meltdowns (upset) or tantrums (collapse)" and can include aggression, hyperactivity, intolerance, unpredictability and self-injury. This paper intends to develop and implement a Upset or Collapse Detection System (UCDS) for people with ASD. Several machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques can be useful depending on the type of data have access to image, video, audio, wearable sensors, etc. In order to create the UCDS, deep learning algorithms like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) could recognise aberrant upset or collapse states from real time physiological signs after being trained. Deep learning algorithms including CNN used to train and test the proposed UCDS system and it is found that this model with an average training and testing accuracy of 85%. The F1-score, which balances precision and recall, was 0.85, indicating a good balance between the two metrics. The Area Under the Curve for the Receiver Operating Characteristic (AUC-ROC) was 0.91, showing a strong ability of the model to discriminate between ASD and non-ASD cases.
