It is not difficult to guess how much contribution the organisation of which the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a member as a cadet, has in the development of 'leadership skills' of its members. It is well known that our current Prime Minister Hon'ble Shri Narendra Modi has been an NCC Cadet. Current Defence Minister Hon'ble Rajnath Singh, former Army Chief General T.N. Raina, Padma Bhushan, former Army Chief General V.K.Singh, Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh, India's first female former IPS Mrs. Kiran Bedi, renowned cardiologist Dr. Naresh Trehan, famous actor Mr. Anupam Kher and many other dignitaries the person has also been an NCC cadet .The purpose of starting this article with all these examples is only to point out that the inherent nature of this organisation called NCC (National Cadet Corps) is such that it provides its trainees with an opportunity for natural development of noble life values like 'leadership skills', courage, discipline, patriotism etc. and helps in their personality development.

This paper focuses on Louise Erdrich's The Round House as a deep examination of justice, trauma, and cultural identity within the Native American community, more set against the backdrop of a grisly crime on a North Dakota reservation. The novel grapples with the intricacies of tribal law, generational trauma, and the endeavour to find healing. Through the consciously nostalgic eyes of the young protagonist Joe Coutts, Erdrich speaks to the confluence of individual mourning and collective grief, providing insights into the systemic injustice faced by Native American communities. The paper also provides insight into storytelling, spirituality, and the psychological toll of unresolved trauma from the cultural eye, while placing the novel against a larger historical and legal backdrop. It now includes investigations into the gendered dimensions of some of this violence-in short, that the system works against Native women disproportionately. It is also an examination of how the gaps in legal jurisdiction led to the continued cycling of violence and trauma and closures denied to the victim-and their families. The paper also underscores the symbolic significance of the round house as a sacred space, disrupted by violence but nonetheless serving as a site of cultural survival. The relationship between generations depicted by storytelling unfolds how trauma is passed along and how resilience is learned through family and community. Through Joe's coming-of-age journey, mature insight into the moral complexities of justice and revenge is also developed. The paper intends to contextualize The Round House into a wider literary and sociopolitical discourse on indigenous identity, representation, and resistance. This work will also finally reflect on how Erdrich blends fiction and historical reality in telling this compelling tale of art and advocacy.

Tamaka Swasa, commonly identified with bronchial asthma in modern medicine, represents a significant respiratory disorder affecting individuals globally. With an increasing prevalence due to environmental pollution, lifestyle changes, and stress, it has become imperative to explore effective therapeutic options. Ayurveda, with its holistic approach, offers promising remedies for managing such chronic ailments. This study evaluates the comparative clinical efficacy of two Ayurvedic formulations: Brihat Katphaladi Yoga and Simhyadi Kwatha in the management of Tamaka Swasa. A total of 40 patients diagnosed with Tamaka Swasa were recruited and divided into two groups: Group A received Brihat Katphaladi Yoga (3 grams daily), and Group B received Simhyadi Kwatha (25 ml twice daily). Both treatments were administered for one month, followed by a one-month follow-up period. The primary outcome measures included subjective parameters like dyspnea, wheeze, cough, severity, and tightness of the chest, alongside objective metrics such as Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (PEFR), Breath-Holding Time (BHT), and respiratory rate. Results were statistically analyzed using paired and unpaired t-tests. The findings demonstrated significant improvements across all parameters in both groups, with Brihat Katphaladi Yoga showing slightly better results in parameters such as dyspnea (56.89% improvement in Group A vs. 53.8% in Group B) and chest tightness (61.9% in Group A vs. 57.69% in Group B). Both interventions were equally effective in reducing wheeze and cough. Statistically significant differences between the groups were observed in parameters such as severity and respiratory rate, favoring Group A. The study concludes that both Brihat Katphaladi Yoga and Simhyadi Kwatha are effective in managing Tamaka Swasa. However, Brihat Katphaladi Yoga demonstrated slightly superior outcomes, making it a preferable choice. This research highlights the potential of Ayurvedic formulations as viable, non-chemotherapeutic alternatives for chronic respiratory disorders.

Abstract The 1990s saw the emergence of an enormous wave of the so-called Korean Wave, engulfing the entire Northeast India in general and Manipur in particular. As a result, the people of this region became familiar with Korean music, television shows, beauty care and products, fashion, food habits, etc., and other aspects of this Wave. The primary facilitator of this phenomenon was the media in the form of Television in the initial days and in the present scenario through YouTube, social media, etc. This wave has significantly impacted the socio-cultural outlook of the state's youth. The proposed paper starts from a basic premise that there is already a sense of alienation on the part of the people in the Northeast on the one hand and also socio-cultural proximity that the people of the region feel towards the Eastern countries on the other. In such a situation, the advancement in ICT has brought the socio-cultural life of these countries to the region's people, mainly in the form of what has already been called the Korean Wave. Given this reality, the paper argues that these two considerations have helped pave the way for the Korean Wave to reach North East India in general and Manipur in particular. It also tries to highlight the impact of the Wave on the socio-cultural outlook of the youths in Manipur.

This study has been undertaken to investigate energy consumption patterns in smart homes and improve forecasting accuracy using a hybrid machine learning approach. The study introduces the Deepened K-Means Clustering ARIMA (DKMCA) model, which combines K-Means clustering with the ARIMA forecasting method to enhance energy prediction. The model leverages historical energy consumption data, clustering similar usage behaviors, and applying time-series forecasting to predict future energy demand. For this purpose, a real-world dataset has been analyzed, focusing on seasonal variations and consumption trends. The analytical framework includes data preprocessing, feature selection, model training, and performance evaluation. The results demonstrate that the DKMCA model outperforms traditional forecasting methods, providing more precise and reliable energy consumption predictions. This research contributes to the field of smart energy management by enabling households to optimize energy usage, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.

The present research paper focusses on women protagonists from Ramayana and Mahabharata namely, Ahalya and Draupadi. This paper tries to deconstructs the character of Ahalya and Draupadi with the perspective of the voiceless and underrepresented women in modern re-readings and retellings of epics. Ahalya and Draupadi are "Panch Kanya" from Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ahalya is wife of Sage Gautama who was cursed by her husband for indulging in bodily desire and Draupadi is wife of five Pandavas. Both the women holds a special niche in Indian Mythology as both were not conceived by human but rather creations of God Almighty.
