: Plant tissue culture, or the aseptic culture of cells, tissues, organs, and their components under defined physical and chemical conditions in vitro, is an important tool in both basic and applied studies as well as in commercial application. It owes its origin to the ideas of the German scientist, Haberlandt, at the beginning of the twentieth century. The early studies led to root cultures, embryo cultures, and the first true callus/tissue cultures. The period between the 1940s and the 1960s was marked by the development of new techniques and the improvement of those that were already in use. It was the availability of these techniques that led to the application of tissue culture to five broad areas, namely, cell behavior including cytology, nutrition, metabolism, morphogenesis, embryogenesis, and pathology, plant modification and improvement,

The Apocynaceae family includes the tough, evergreen, spiky, indigenous flowering shrub known as Karonda (Carissa carandas L.). It is widely spread throughout South Asia, with areas of India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia being its most common locations. South Africa and Australia also have it. that 80% of people on the planet still use traditional medicine to treat a variety of illnesses. While the ripening season lasts from August to September, unripe fruits are harvested from mid-May to mid-July and are ready for planting after 6-7 months. Fruits, leaves, roots, stems, and bark are among the parts of these plants that are also used medicinally. Another use for this plant is as a nutraceutical product. Antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, cardiotonic, hepatoprotective, antimalarial, antibacterial, anti-ulcer, and other chemical compounds found in these plants exhibit phytochemical actions. The most widely used technique is maceration with solvents like ethanol or ethyl acetate.

Abstract Stress is a common problem among students studying professional degrees including engineering, medicine, law, and management. The purpose of this study is to investigate the causes, impacts, and coping methods associated with stress among these students. The study investigates academic pressure, competition, financial difficulties, peer expectations, and time management challenges as key stressors. To collect data from students in various professional areas, a mixed-method approach is used, which includes surveys and interviews. The study also looks into the psychological and physiological effects of stress, such as anxiety, burnout, and decreased academic performance. The findings show that while some students employ constructive coping methods like time management, exercise, and social support, others engage in unhealthy habits like procrastination and substance abuse. The study underlines the need of institutional support structures.

Downhill training, a form of eccentric exercise, involves running or walking on a decline, emphasizing eccentric muscle contractions that enhance leg strength, strength endurance, and neuromuscular coordination. This study aimed to examine the effects of downhill training on leg strength and strength endurance in college men. Thirty male students were selected and divided into two groups: an experimental group that underwent 12 weeks of downhill training and a control group that followed their regular physical education routine. Leg strength was assessed using bend knee sit-ups, and strength endurance was measured through Cooper's 9-minute run/walk test. The results showed a significant improvement in leg strength (95.02 vs. 92.18, F = 70.78, p < 0.05) and strength endurance (46.20 vs. 41.20, F = 205.71, p < 0.05) in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings suggest that downhill training is an effective method for enhancing lower-body strength and endurance, making it a valuable training approach for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The study highlights the practical benefits of eccentric training, though proper progression is essential to minimize injury risks. Future research should explore the long-term effects and applicability of downhill training across different populations.
