ABSTRACT: Introduction: Udara Roga, enumerated among the Ashtamahagada, is characterized by progressive abdominal distension primarily arising from Agnimandya and Tridosha vitiation. Classical Ayurvedic texts specifically highlight the obstruction of Swedavaha and Ambuvaha Srotas in the Samprapti of Udara. Despite the presence of multiple Srotas in the body, the selective emphasis on these fluid-regulating channels suggests a distinct pathophysiological mechanism centered on systemic fluid imbalance. The present study aims to analyze the association of Srotodushti, particularly Swedavaha and Ambuvaha Srotas, in the pathogenesis of Udara Roga. Methods: A conceptual review was conducted using references from the Brihatrayee along with their classical commentaries. Relevant published research articles were also analyzed to correlate Ayurvedic principles with contemporary understanding of fluid dynamics in ascites. The sequential Samprapti was critically examined to understand the selective involvement of these Srotas. Results: The analysis revealed that Agnimandya initiates Ama formation and production of defective Sama Rasa, leading to Rasadushti and Kleda Vriddhi. Since Rasa Dhatu is predominantly aqueous, its vitiation predisposes to fluid accumulation. Obstruction of Swedavaha and Ambuvaha Srotas impairs fluid transport, regulation, and excretion, resulting in progressive abdominal distension. The involvement of Prana, Samana, and Apana Vayu further perpetuates Srotorodha and fluid stagnation. Discussion and Conclusion: Udara Roga can be understood as a Srotodushti-dominant disorder of systemic fluid dysregulation initiated by Agnimandya and mediated through Rasadushti. The classical emphasis on Swedavaha and Ambuvaha Srotas reflects their central role in maintaining fluid balance. Therapeutic approaches should therefore focus on Agni Deepana, Ama Pachana, and Srotoshodhana to restore normal fluid dynamics. This interpretation highlights the scientific depth of Ayurvedic Samprapti Siddhanta and offers a rational framework for clinical management.

Urbanization has lead to the creation of many impervious structures like roads, buildings and many more, which lead to excessive stormwater runoff, urban flooding, groundwater depletion. Another major issue is that the industries are dumping the byproducts like fly ash ,silica fume in river and land mass which depletes the quality of our environment. This project aims to design, develop, and evaluate Pervious Interlocking Concrete Pavers (PICPs) as a sustainable pavement solution for urban stormwater management. Impervious surfaces have led to significant surface runoff, causing flooding, erosion and reduced groundwater recharge. Pervious pavers allow rainwater to infiltrate through their joints and structure, reducing runoff volume and improving water quality through filtration. The project involves selection of suitable aggregate size, cement content, and water-cement ratio to achieve desired compressive strength while maintaining adequate permeability. Laboratory tests including compressive strength, split tensile strength, permeability, abrasion resistance were conducted to assess mechanical and hydrological performance. Mix 4, incorporating OPC, fly ash, silica fume, polypropylene fibres , and superplasticizer with a w/b ratio of 0.4, achieved an optimal 28-day compressive strength of 18 MPa with an infiltration rate of 4.5 cm/min and water absorption of 19.7%. The findings confirm PICPs as a cost-effective, eco-friendly paving solution suitable for pathways, parking areas, and low-traffic roads, supporting sustainable urban development and groundwater recharge.

Evaluating any specific region or any country's socio-economic developmental status, health plays a crucial role as a basic indicator in this evaluation process. Going through the various global reports, approximately 663 million people 8.9% of the world's population are suffering from malnutrition, besides this, 697 million people 9% of the world population are suffering from severe food insecurity. In every budget session, Govt. of India is sanctioning and spending huge amount of money to eradicate malnutrition from India. Malnutrition is a liable factor for high Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR). Moreover, malnourished mothers have chances to give birth to malnourished children. Purpose of this research was to find out the basic reasons, ground reality and gaps behind malnutrition problem among women and children in society, especially in rural area. The present study explores that the main factors which are playing crucial role behind this problem are- illiteracy and lack of awareness, poverty, negligence of family members towards pregnant or lactating mothers, gender discrimination, early marriage and pregnancy before 18 years, pandemics like Covid19 etc. This study also corelates that malnutrition has strong effect upon maternal and child health which creates burden upon human resources and sustainable development.

The construction of female identity within patriarchal societies has been a significant concern in feminist literary studies. The Color Purple by Alice Walker offers a powerful narrative that examines how marginalized women negotiate silence, oppression, and self-discovery. Set in the early twentieth-century American South, the novel portrays the life of Celie, an African American woman whose experiences of abuse, discrimination, and social marginalization initially deprive her of a sense of agency and voice. This paper explores the relationship between voice, silence, and selfhood in the novel through a feminist critical perspective, focusing on the gradual transformation of Celie from a voiceless victim into a self-aware and independent individual. At the beginning of the narrative, Celie's silence reflects the psychological impact of patriarchal domination and systemic inequality. Subjected to violence and forced submission, she internalizes feelings of inferiority and isolation. However, the act of writing letters becomes a crucial means of self-expression through which Celie begins to articulate her experiences and emotions. The epistolary structure of the novel allows her suppressed voice to emerge gradually and facilitates the reconstruction of her identity. The paper further examines how Celie's relationships with other female characters, particularly Nettie, Shug Avery, and Sofia, contribute to her empowerment. These relationships foster solidarity, emotional support, and a redefinition of love and self-respect. The study argues that voice in the novel functions as a metaphor for resistance and liberation, while silence represents the internalization of oppression. Ultimately, the novel demonstrates that the formation of identity is a complex process shaped by self-expression, female solidarity, and personal resilience.

This investigation undertakes a comparative semiotic examination of Art Spiegelman's Maus (1980-1991) and Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis (2000-2003), two graphic narratives that demonstrate how anthropomorphism and non-human allegory function as artistic strategies for healing and reconciliation following traumatic experiences. The study posits that the employment of zoomorphism and stylized figuration in both works transcends aesthetic simplification, representing semiotic acts of protest--conscious visual decisions that align with the dehumanizing principles of the regimes they critique. By applying concepts from visual social semiotics (Kress and van Leeuwen), trauma theory (Caruth, Herman), and postmemory studies (Hirsch), this article reveals the animal mask in Maus and the simple human figure in Persepolis as ethical and political tools, which allow the audience to come face to face with genocide and theocratic oppression without the numbing effect of realistic images. The comparison shows that the two works share similarities, particularly in the ethical role of abstraction, but at the same time, differ from one another quite significantly in the way each constructs racial legibility and survivor identity through its particular visual language.

Oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) represent a diverse group of mucosal abnormalities that carry an increased risk of transformation into oral squamous cell carcinoma. Early identification and accurate diagnosis of these disorders are essential to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with oral cancer. Common OPMDs include leukoplakia, erythroplakia, oral submucous fibrosis, proliferative verrucous leukoplakia, oral lichen planus, and actinic cheilitis. In addition, systemic conditions such as dyskeratosis congenita, Fanconi anemia, and Plummer-Vinson syndrome contribute to increased malignant risk. Clinically, these disorders present with varied features such as white or red patches, mucosal atrophy, fibrosis, ulceration, or mixed lesions. Diagnosis requires a comprehensive approach involving patient history, clinical examination, and adjunctive chairside investigations such as toluidine blue staining, autofluorescence, and cytological techniques. However, histopathological evaluation through biopsy remains the gold standard for confirming diagnosis and detecting epithelial dysplasia or early malignant transformation. Early diagnosis combined with appropriate monitoring plays a crucial role in preventing progression to malignancy and improving patient prognosis.

This study presents a clear machine learning approach to identify employees who might leave an organization or face layoffs. The main goal is to help human resource teams make informed decisions based on data. The model combines predictions of voluntary attrition and involuntary layoffs into one framework, analyzing various employee-related attributes like job performance, salary, and organizational factors. Before applying machine learning methods, the data undergoes careful preparation, including cleaning, transformation, and feature selection. Since real-world HR data often has imbalances, techniques such as SMOTE are used to ensure better model learning. The prediction system uses ensemble algorithms, including Random Forest and XGBoost, which help enhance reliability and performance. To make the system more transparent and trustworthy, it includes explainability methods like SHAP and LIME. These methods highlight the key factors behind each prediction, allowing HR professionals to understand the reasons for employee risk levels instead of relying on black-box outputs. The proposed system also features a user-friendly dashboard that displays predictions, risk scores, and key contributing factors in a visual format. This helps organizations take timely actions, such as improving employee engagement or planning workforce changes more effectively. Overall, the framework aims to balance predictive performance with clarity, helping organizations lower turnover costs and improve workforce stability.
