In today's fast changing digital world, social media has evolved into an essential instrument for molding customer ideas and preferences. This research investigates the impact of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter on consumer behavior, focusing on how users engage with sponsored content, influencer marketing, and commercials. The study emphasizes the influence of user-generated content (UGC), peer evaluations, and targeted marketing on purchase choices and brand perceptions. The research technique included collecting primary data from social media users via questionnaires. The findings indicate that visual material, particularly video-based media, has a considerable impact on consumer choices, with Instagram and YouTube appearing as the most influential platforms. The survey concludes that influencer marketing is an effective tool, since the majority of respondents trust influencer recommendations more than traditional advertising. Furthermore, tailored advertising and interactive social media campaigns significantly influence brand engagement and customer decision-making. The research also investigates the level of effect that social media has on various demographic groups. The results show that younger customers, particularly those aged 18-24, depend extensively on social media when making purchase decisions, but older age groups are more skeptical of influencer recommendations. Furthermore, consumers' content choices differ, with video-based adverts and instructive posts gaining the most engagement, while static picture ads and carousel postings create comparably less interaction. Finally, the study highlights the importance of social media in determining current consumer behavior. Social media platforms have developed from simple communication channels to strong marketing tools that impact attitudes, preferences, and purchase decisions. Businesses that effectively use social media marketing, such as customer-centric methods, engaging storytelling strategies, and influencer partnerships, may boost their brand visibility and develop long-term client loyalty.

This work employs deep learning, in this case, the InceptionV3 model with transfer learning, to perform automatic breast cancer detection and stage classification from histopathological images. The system classifies cancer stages using a softmax probability score, with thresholds establishing Stage One to Stage Four, and lower scores determining Stage Zero (no cancer detected). A mobile app supports uploading of images for real-time predictions, whereas a web interface supports doctors to examine cases, prescribe medication, and conduct real-time consultations. Developed with TensorFlow and Keras, the system features structured preprocessing, data augmentation, and performance assessment to maximize accuracy. Through less dependence on human interpretation, it facilitates earlier intervention and better diagnostics. Future developments will center on increasing datasets, incorporating more deep learning models, and performing clinical validations to increase accuracy and usability.

This study investigates consumer awareness regarding food adulteration in an urban setting, highlighting the prevalence of harmful substances in commonly consumed food products. Through a descriptive research design, data was collected from a sample of urban consumers to identify perceptions, knowledge gaps, and the impact of food adulteration on health. The findings reveal significant levels of chemical contamination and low-quality materials, necessitating urgent consumer education and stricter regulatory measures.

This paper examines examine the relationship between public expenditure on agriculture and agricultural output or production in Himachal Pradesh from 1993-94 to 2022-23. The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between public expenditure on agriculture and agricultural output in Himachal Pradesh by ARDL and ECM model. Descriptive and analytical research design has been used by using secondary data. The data relating to Public Expenditure have been collected from the Himachal Statistical Organization, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Publications, state budget paper for the various years under consideration. The purpose of public expenditure is to provide for the socioeconomic well-being of citizens through government spending at federal, state, and local levels. This encompasses the operational costs of governance, investments in economic and social progress, and potentially, international aid. As the scope of government operations broadens, it becomes increasingly difficult to determine the optimal allocation of public funds between maintaining essential government functions and driving societal and economic development. The ARDL model F-Bounds test shows significant long-term relationships between agricultural output and public expenditure on agriculture, education, medical and public health, rural development, transportation, and communication. The finding suggests that government investment plays a pivotal role in enhancing agricultural productivity.

The Chellanam coastline in Kerala, India, faces numerous challenges due to wave action. Coastal erosion, triggered by wave activity, results in the loss of land, damaging homes and infrastructure. Flooding occurs when high waves inundate coastal areas, impacting livelihoods and properties. Beach degradation is another concern, as wave action destroys beach habitats, affecting marine biodiversity. The consequences of wave action also extend to displacement of families, loss of livelihoods in the fishing and tourism industries, and damage to infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and buildings. This project investigates the challenges posed by wave action and assesses the effectiveness of breakwater construction in mitigating these issues. The objectives of the project include investigating coastal dynamics and coastal erosion, evaluating the design and of breakwaters, and analysing their impact on wave attenuation and shoreline protection. Through desk studies, wave modelling using MIKE 21 and analysis of coastal dynamics, the project identifies key factors influencing wave behaviour and assesses the effectiveness of breakwaters in reducing wave energy. The expected outcomes include identification of critical factors influencing shoreline dynamics, evaluation of breakwater effectiveness, and recommendations for optimal breakwater. The expected impact includes improved coastal protection and management strategies, enhanced resilience of coastal communities and infrastructure. By addressing these critical issues, this project provides valuable insights into mitigating wave action and protecting Chellanam coastline.

Abstract: Introduction: The rapid urbanization of Hyderabad, driven by its transformation into an information technology hub, has led to significant physical changes and deteriorating air quality due to increased vehicular traffic and industrial activities. This poses a serious health risk, particularly to the growing elderly population, which is especially vulnerable to the adverse effects of air pollution. With Telangana state surpassing the United Nations' "aging" threshold, understanding the interplay between urban air pollution and the health of senior citizens in Hyderabad is crucial for developing targeted mitigation strategies. Methodology: This study employed a stratified random sampling technique to collect primary data via questionnaires from 200 participants aged 60 and above across four distinct areas within Hyderabad: Ashok Nagar (residential), Abids (commercial), Katedan (industrial), and Patancheru (urban sprawl). These areas were selected to represent diverse exposure environments. A pilot study involving 40 participants was conducted in the Nacharam industrial area. Measures for key variables were adopted from previous studies. Data analysis was performed using SPSS, including descriptive statistics (frequencies and percentages) and inferential statistics (Chi-square and likelihood ratio tests) to assess differences in perceptions and experiences of air pollution across demographic variables (gender, age groups, education levels) at a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: Gender and age impact transportation and air pollution perception, while education strongly shapes awareness, mitigation, and economic views, especially for seniors. Health and industrial area effects also show demographic links, illustrating the complex social-environmental interaction. Conclusion: The study explores the link between senior citizens' perceptions/behaviours related to air pollution and their demographics, finding that transport preferences are influenced by age and gender, whereas education level plays a key role in dietary/lifestyle adjustments, perceptions of air quality in public transit, and economic beliefs.
