Phishing is one of the widespread and hazardous forms of cybercrime breeding in the digital world, tricking individuals into giving their sensitive information such as their passwords and financial information by pretending to be some trusted body safe to enter or provide sensitive data. Although there have been continuous advancements in cybersecurity, phishing attacks have continued to outgrow the safety mechanism, employing advanced techniques that exploit loopholes in the current safety mechanisms to curb phishing attacks. Conventional methods, including blacklisting and heuristic-based detection systems, face difficulty to keep track of the changing nature of these threats. These systems depend on known phishing schemes and would not adapt quickly to new ones, hence prone to serious financial and data losses of users and organizations. To answer this growing issue, this system would be developed under PhishNetGuard: a real-time phishing solution.

: The increasing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly construction materials has led to the exploration of alternative building materials such as compressed soil bricks (CSBs) reinforced with agricultural by-products. This study investigates the potential of incorporating sugarcane fiber and rice husk ash (RHA) into compressed soil bricks to enhance their mechanical properties and sustainability. Sugarcane fiber, a natural and biodegradable material, is utilized to reinforce the soil matrix, while rice husk ash, a by-product of rice milling, serves as a partial cementitious material to improve the binding properties of the bricks. The research focuses on optimizing the proportions of sugarcane fiber and RHA in the brick mixture to achieve an ideal balance between strength, durability, and workability. Experimental testing, including compressive strength, water absorption, and shrinkage, was conducted to assess the performance of the composite bricks. The results indicate that the addition of sugarcane fiber and RHA improves the compressive strength and reduces water absorption, making the bricks suitable for low-cost, sustainable construction. Furthermore, the incorporation of agricultural waste materials enhances the environmental benefits of the bricks, reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional clay bricks. This study highlights the viability of sugarcane fibre and rice husk ash as sustainable reinforcements in compressed soil bricks, offering a promising alternative to conventional building materials in rural and resource-constrained settings.

This paper investigates regional disparities in credit flow and non-performing assets (NPAs) within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, particularly focusing on Bihar compared with Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and the Southern region. Using secondary data from RBI's Report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India (2023-24), this study finds that Bihar's MSMEs experience consistent growth in credit availability but face persistently high NPA levels. Recommendations include enhanced credit risk management and financial inclusion measures to ensure sustainable MSME growth.

Phishing and typosquatting attacks have emerged as significant threats to cybersecurity, manipulating users into revealing sensitive information. This research introduces URLDefend, an advanced detection system that integrates machine learning algorithms with web-based analysis to identify potentially malicious URLs. The system extracts features based on the URL address, domain characteristics, and HTML/JavaScript elements to classify URLs as either legitimate or suspicious. Additionally, the typosquatting detection module creates domain variations through character substitution and similarity scoring techniques. The backend of the system is developed using Flask, incorporating Redis caching to optimize performance, while the frontend is constructed with React.js to facilitate an interactive user interface. Experimental findings indicate that URLDefend achieves a high level of detection accuracy coupled with a low rate of false positives, thereby contributing to enhanced cybersecurity through a collaborative reporting mechanism.

Financial regulation has evolved in response to dynamic developments in global economic landscapes, technology advancements, and the growing complexity of financial markets. This chapter presents a historical overview of the evolution of financial regulation, from early banking systems to the current regulatory frameworks that control financial firms around the world. It looks at crucial milestones in the regulatory path, including the establishment of central banks, the enactment of foundational legislation, and the response to major financial crises like the Great Depression and the 2008 global financial crisis. The chapter delves into the motivations for regulatory reforms, including the need for market stability, consumer protection, and the prevention of systemic risk. It also examines the function of international regulatory entities and the current discussion about the appropriate mix of market freedom and control. Through this historical prism, the chapter illustrates the developing issues that regulators face and provides insights into the future path of financial regulation in a more interconnected and digitized global economy.

Gamification in education has emerged as a transformative pedagogical strategy, integrating game-based mechanics to enhance engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. This study explores the theoretical foundations of gamification in educational settings, examining its cognitive, behavioral, and constructivist underpinnings. This paper elucidates the psychological and instructional mechanisms that make gamification effective by analyzing key frameworks such as Self-Determination Theory (SDT), Flow Theory, and Operant Conditioning. Additionally, the research investigates emerging trends, including adaptive gamification, artificial intelligence-driven personalized learning, and immersive technologies such as virtual and augmented reality. A critical analysis of recent innovations highlights their implications for curriculum design, student motivation, and knowledge retention. Furthermore, this study discusses challenges such as ethical concerns, over-reliance on extrinsic rewards, and scalability issues. By synthesizing contemporary research and practical applications, this paper provides a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape of gamification in education, offering insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers to optimize game-based learning methodologies.

Deaths from cancer continue to be a major worldwide problem, often as a result of insufficient diagnosis and therapeutic approaches. As a cutting-edge development, microfluidic technology is essential to automation and miniaturization because it can effectively handle tiny material and sample sizes, from microliters to femtoliters. These tools help create nanoparticles for targeted medication administration in addition to making it easier to identify biomarkers linked to cancer in biological fluids. Numerous cancer treatment modalities, like as gene delivery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, may be investigated and improved using microfluidics. Microfluidics has many benefits in cancer, such as high throughput, remarkable sensitivity, low material consumption, and cost-effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to draw attention to the potential features, advantages, and therapeutic uses of microfluidic devices in the detection and management of cancer.
