Computed Tomography (CT) scans are essential diagnostic tools in modern medicine, enabling detailed imaging of the human body. However, as with all imaging technologies that utilize ionizing radiation, minimizing radiation exposure to patients is crucial. Over the years, advancements in technology and techniques have contributed to radiation dose reduction in CT imaging, while still maintaining high-quality diagnostic images. This article provides a detailed overview of the various radiation dose reduction techniques employed in CT scans.

The connecting rod is an intermediate component that links the piston to the crankshaft. Its primary function is to transfer the push and pull forces from the piston pin to the crank pin, thereby converting the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotary motion of the crankshaft. This thesis focuses on the design and comparative analysis of an internal combustion (IC) engine connecting rod of a four-stroke single-cylinder connecting rod for the Bajaj Pulsar NS-400Z engine based on various materials such as Forged steel (AISI 4140), Aluminum Alloy (A4032), And Gray cast iron. Currently, the existing connecting rods are manufactured using materials such as Stainless steel and carbon steel. In this study, the design drawings are drafted based on detailed calculations. A parametric model of the connecting rod is created using CATIA V5 software, and structural analysis is performed using ANSYS 2025 R1 Workbench software. The analysis evaluates key parameters like von Mises stress, strain, and deformation for a two-wheeler IC engine pisto3n using ANSYS 2025 R1 software. The results indicate that forged steel (AISI 4140) exhibits greater strength and less deformation compared to other materials like Aluminum Alloy (AISI 4032) and grey cast iron.

Heart disease, encompassing various cardiovascular conditions, is a leading cause of death and disability globally, including heart, attacks, strokes, and other heart-related issues, with preventable risk factors such as unhealthy lifestyle choices playing a significant role. Heart disease (also known as cardiovascular disease / CVD) refers to any disease or disorder of the heart and blood vessels. Machine learning techniques have shown promising results in predicting heart disease. Our approach algorithms like Logistic regression, K-Nearest Neighbour, Random Forest, and Decision Tree were predicted using attributes such as age, chest pain, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels. By wielding breakthroughs in machine learning (ML), the key aim of this study is to design prognostic models for identifying cardiovascular disease. Predicting those at the highest risk of CVDs and ensuring they receive appropriate treatment can prevent premature death. Applying these classification models can help to predict the chances of cardiovascular disease.

Natural lighting is a crucial component of architectural design, affecting the functionality of the building and contributing to sustainability. It addresses the perception of the spatial quality of the space and enhances the built environment. In the present time, the application of artificial light is an inevitable component of everyday life. However, the role of natural light in architectural spaces is significant, and understanding how it impacts and enhances the quality of a space is a crucial topic. This research explores a comprehensive examination of the intricate link between architecture and natural lighting, highlighting its significance and the diverse elements architects consider when incorporating it into their designs through the preliminary investigation of the relationship between natural light and architectural spaces. It also aids in comprehending how the place might be envisioned by assessing the user experience created by emotions and the interplay of light and shadows. This study explores how daylight and architecture have developed over time, focusing on windows and open spaces central to design. The methodology involves a thorough examination of the techniques used by various renowned architects, drawing insights from literature and observations gathered in user experience surveys.

Wetland research in northern Belize provides the earliest evidence for the development of agriculture in the Maya Lowlands. Pollen data confirms the introduction of maize and manioc before 3000 B.C. Dramatic deforestation, beginning around 2500 B.C. and intensifying in wetland environments between 1500 and 1300 B.C., marks an expansion of agriculture within the context of a mixed foraging economy. By 1000 B.C., a rise in groundwater levels led farmers to construct drainage ditches, coinciding with the emergence of the Maya complex society around 1000-800 B.C. Agricultural field manipulations often involved minor modifications of natural hummocks. Canal systems in northern Belize were not as extensive as previously reported, and there is no evidence of artificially raised planting platforms. By the Classic period, wetland fields were flooded and mostly abandoned

This project introduces a School Safety Sensoring using Arduino, integrating sensors and actuators to enhance school safety. A DHT11 sensor monitors temperature and humidity, an MQ135 detects harmful gases, and an IR sensor identifies unauthorized movements. A vibration sensor ensures structural stability, while a fire sensor enables early fire detection. Safety responses include activating a buzzer, controlling a water pump for fire suppression, and regulating lighting via an LDR sensor. An LCD displays real-time data, and a GSM module sends emergency SMS alerts. This automated system ensures prompt hazard detection, creating a safer school environment.
