The Image Segmentation Android App is designed to provide precise and efficient segmentation of images using a graph-based segmentation technique powered by Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Developed in Java and XML, with Firebase Real-time Database as the backend, the app processes images by treating each pixel as a node in a graph, allowing segmentation based on color, texture, and intensity similarities. Users can upload images, perform on-device segmentation, and store results in Firebase, enabling applications such as object detection, background separation, and medical imaging. This app ensures an optimized, real-time, and user-friendly experience for image processing tasks.

Federalism in India has undergone significant transformation since its inception, influenced by constitutional amendments, judicial pronouncements, political dynamics, and economic reforms. The evolving nature of Indian federalism reflects the changing balance of power between the Union and the states, driven by administrative restructuring, fiscal federalism, and regional aspirations. While the Constitution of India establishes a quasi-federal structure, recent trends indicate a shift toward a more centralized approach, raising concerns over state autonomy and cooperative federalism. This paper critically examines the evolving dimensions of Indian federalism, focusing on legal frameworks, case laws, and policy changes that shape its trajectory. It also explores the impact of key legislations and governance models on the federal structure, addressing challenges such as fiscal imbalances, inter-state disputes, and the role of regional parties. By analyzing recent developments, this study aims to contribute to the discourse on India's federal identity and the need for a more balanced and inclusive approach to federal governance.

The modern workplace is defined by a varied workforce, where each person brings special talents, insights, and experiences to the table. It is becoming increasingly important for firms to comprehend the elements impacting individual working styles as they aim to maximize production and employee satisfaction. The goal of this study is to identify and examine the various facets that influence workers' working styles in order to clarify the complex interactions between organizational, environmental, and personal elements. Workplace policies, leadership philosophies, and organizational culture all have a significant impact on how team members approach assignments and operate together. Working styles are examined in relation to the evolution of remote work environments and the impact of technological improvements. The study explores how employees' approaches to work and interactions are shaped by digital tools, communication platforms, and flexible work schedules. Initial findings point to a dynamic interaction between personal working preferences and technology integration. The study looks into how employees' working styles are affected by outside variables like sociological trends, economic situations, and world events. The research's conclusions add to the continuing conversation about workplace dynamics and offer insightful advice to HR specialists, business executives, and legislators who want to improve worker performance and engagement in a constantly changing work environment.

One of the most prevalent challenges in the textile manufacturing industry is the inability to consistently maintain product quality, leading to defects and customer dissatisfaction. This research presents a deep learning-based approach for fabric defect identification using ResNet-50, which leverages transfer learning for accurate defect classification. The model effectively classifies four types of fabric defects: holes, lines, horizontal defects, and vertical defects. A custom dataset was created by collecting diverse fabric defect images from various sources. The impact of random and stratified data splitting methods on training and validation performance was analyzed. This method seeks to improve the quality assurance process, lessen human involvement, and boost productivity in the textile sector. The suggested system can assist manufacturers in identifying flaws early on, thus reducing production losses and guaranteeing a high standard of output.

Indira Goswami's The Moth-Eaten Howdah of a Tusker is a powerful critique of the patriarchal and religious structures that systematically oppress women, particularly widows, in Vaishnavite society. This article applies a radical feminist lens to examine how the novel exposes institutionalized gender oppression, the policing of female sexuality, and systemic violence against women. Drawing on the works of Andrea Dworkin, Catharine MacKinnon, Mary Daly, and Kate Millett, this study explores the themes of patriarchy, religious oppression, bodily control, and female resistance in Goswami's novel. Through detailed analysis, the article highlights how the widows in the novel stripped of autonomy and desire experience physical, emotional, and psychological subjugation under a deeply entrenched patriarchal system. Yet, within this suffering, acts of rebellion and defiance emerge, challenging the notion that women are merely passive victims. The study differentiates between silent rebellion and open defiance, questioning whether these acts can truly dismantle oppressive structures or whether they reinforce the cyclical nature of female subjugation. By positioning Goswami's work within radical feminist discourse, this article argues that The Moth-Eaten Howdah of a Tusker is not just a historical reflection but a text that remains deeply relevant to contemporary feminist struggles. The novel's unsettling portrayal of widowhood forces readers to confront the intersection of gender, religion, and institutionalized misogyny, making it an essential text for understanding the ongoing fight for women's liberation.

This study investigates the antioxidant potential of a beetroot-based lip balm using the DPPH assay and assesses its safety by detecting methyl paraben through UV-Visible spectroscopy and HPLC. Beetroot is rich in antioxidants, including betalains and phenolic compounds. The DPPH free radical scavenging assay was used to evaluate its antioxidant activity. Furthermore, UV-Visible spectroscopy and HPLC were utilized to detect the presence of methyl paraben, ensuring adherence to safety regulations. The results emphasize beetroot's potential as a natural antioxidant in cosmetic applications. This research supports the development of herbal lip care products with enhanced functionality and reduced synthetic additives.

This study investigates the impact of various teaching techniques on student performance, considering factors such as gender (Male and Female), location (urban vs. rural), type of school management (Govt. vs. private), Medium (Tamil and English) and subject (Arts vs. science). A sample of 300 students was analyzed using statistical methods to determine the effectiveness of different teaching strategies across these variables. The results indicate that teaching techniques significantly influence student performance, with variations observed based on gender, location, and type of management. Female students in urban private schools showed the highest improvement in science subjects when exposed to interactive teaching methods, while male students in rural public schools benefited more from traditional lecture-based approaches in math. These findings suggest that tailored teaching strategies, considering demographic and institutional factors, can enhance student outcomes. The study provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to optimize teaching practices for diverse student populations.

Presently continuous demand in electric power system network has caused system to be heavily loaded leading to voltage instability. The control of power and the usable capacity enhancement of existing as well as new and upgraded line can be effectively done by Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) technology. FACTS technology opens new opportunities for controlling power flow and enhancing the usable capacity of present, as well as new lines. The Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) is the most promising FACTS device for power flow control. This project describes the performance of UPFC for effective control of active and reactive power flow on a 500 kV interconnected lines for the purpose of compensation as well as enhancement of power transmission capability of transmission line. To evaluate the performance of UPFC, simulation was carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The simulation results reveal that UPFC device has an excellent capability to enhance real and reactive power flow.
