Literature serves as a reflection of the social and cultural fabric of a region. In India, a nation celebrated for its multiculturalism and linguistic diversity, regional literatures thrive and interact through the medium of translation. While English often acts as a bridge language facilitating these exchanges, direct translations between regional languages foster mutual influences, enriching the literary traditions involved. These interactions contribute to the evolution of India's literary landscape, highlighting the interconnectedness of its diverse cultures. In contrast, the linguistic scenario in Britain presents a different dynamic. Although the majority of Britons speak with regional accents or dialects, approximately 2% use Received Pronunciation (RP), often referred to as "the King's English," "Oxford English," or "BBC English." This accent, which emerged from a blend of Midlands and Southern dialects spoken in London during the early modern period, is region-neutral and is widely adopted as a standard model for teaching English to non-native speakers. This paper explores the interplay between regional literatures in India and the role of translation in shaping cultural narratives, while also examining the linguistic diversity and standardization of accents in Britain. By comparing these two distinct yet interconnected linguistic landscapes, the study underscores the significance of language and literature in preserving and transforming cultural identities.

The evolution of the power grid into a smart grid represents a significant leap forward in the way electricity is generated, distributed, and consumed. Smart grid technologies integrate advanced communication, control, and information technologies into the traditional power grid, enabling a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable electricity system. However, the transition to smart grids is not without challenges. This paper explores the key technologies driving the smart grid revolution, the challenges faced in their implementation, and the future trends that are likely to shape the development of smart grids. The paper also discusses the potential benefits of smart grids, including improved energy efficiency, enhanced grid reliability, and the integration of renewable energy sources. The demand for reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions has led to the development of smart grid technologies. A smart grid is an intelligent electricity distribution network that integrates digital communication, automation, and advanced data analytics to optimize power generation, distribution, and consumption. Unlike traditional power grids, which rely on centralized generation and unidirectional power flow, smart grids enable real-time monitoring, demand-side management, and bi-directional energy flow. The transition to smart grids is driven by several factors, including the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, the need for grid resilience against climate-related disruptions and cyber threats, the growth of electric vehicles (EVs) and the need for vehicle-to-grid (V2G) integration, and the rise of consumer-centric energy management through smart meters and IoT-based technologies. Despite these advancements, smart grids face numerous technical, economic, and policy challenges, including cybersecurity risks, data privacy concerns, interoperability issues, and the need for significant infrastructure investments. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of smart grid technologies, discussing their key components, benefits, challenges, and future trends.

A shampoo is a preparation containing a suitable surfactant (i.e. surface-active material)-liquid, solid or powder-which, when used under the prescribed conditions, removes surface grease, dirt and skin debris from the hair shaft and scalp without adversely affecting the user. Various anti-fungal agents are used for the dandruff procedure in hair care preparations. Such drugs show various side effects such as hair loss, increased scaling, scratching, discomfort, nausea and headache. Therefore, an attempt was made to Formation and evaluation of herbal neem-based shampoo that is safer in terms of health and treating the dandruff condition than the anti-dandruff shampoo based on chemicals. Herbal anti-dandruff shampoos have been formulated using herbal ingredients such as Bhringraj Leaves extract, Lemon Grass Oil, Neem oil, Henna, Aloe Vera gel and other ingredients for base shampoo preparations. The formulated shampoos were subjected to evaluation parameters such as visual inspection, pH, viscosity, solid content percentage, dirt dispersion, surface tension, foaming capacity and consistency of the foam, PityrosporumOvale strain anti-fungal activity test. In this paper we enhanced KNN algorithm and applied to Job placement prediction. with Ellipse-Based Distance (EBD) instead of Euclidean Distance. EBD improves classification by adapting to elliptical data distributions, prioritizing academic and technical skills. Experimental results show a 6.3% accuracy improvement over Euclidean based KNN. Although EBD increases computational time by 18.4%, it enhances precision, recall, and F1-score. This proves that modifying distance metrics improves classification performance in real-world applications. Future work will focus on optimizing EBD for better efficiency.
