 Abstract

Video analysis in sports has emerged as an essential resource for improving performance and tactics in different athletic domains. This study examines multiple algorithms and techniques applied in sports video analysis to identify patterns and strategies in video footage. We employ approaches such as tracking players and objects, offering crucial information to comprehend the dynamics of the game. The progress of computer assistance in sports is transformative. Our goal is to elucidate how these methods aid in player training, strategy formulation, and the evaluation of various techniques in regard to their advantages and disadvantages.

 Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions and satisfaction levels of clients regarding the infrastructure facilities and services provided in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Chennai. SEZs play a critical role in promoting industrial growth, attracting foreign investment, and generating employment. However, their success is heavily dependent on the quality of infrastructure and services offered to businesses operating within them. The research focuses on identifying the key infrastructure elements--such as transportation, utilities, communication networks, and security--and service-related aspects like administrative support, ease of doing business, and responsiveness of SEZ authorities. Primary data was collected through structured questionnaires distributed among clients operating in various SEZs across Chennai. The study uses both descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze the data. Findings indicate that while clients appreciate the location advantages and basic infrastructure, there is a growing demand for improvements in service efficiency, maintenance, and digital facilities. The study concludes with recommendations for SEZ developers and policymakers to enhance infrastructure standards and service delivery mechanisms to improve client satisfaction and long-term sustainability of SEZs in Chennai.

 Abstract

In this Paper we present an approach for conditioned and composed image retrieval based on CLIP features. In this extension of content-based image retrieval (CBIR) an image is combined with a text that provides information regarding user intentions, and is relevant for application domains like e-commerce. The proposed method is based on an initial training stage where a simple combination of visual and textual features is used, to fine-tune the CLIP text encoder. Then in a second training stage we learn a more complex combiner network that merges visual and textual features. Contrastive learning is used in both stages. The proposed approach obtains state-of-the-art performance for conditioned CBIR on the Fashion-IQ dataset and for composed CBIR on the more recent CIRR dataset..

 Abstract

This study explores the marketing challenges encountered by maize producers in the taluks of Pollachi and Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. Maize, a significant cereal crop in India's agricultural economy, faces various marketing hurdles that affect producers' profitability and sustainability. The research investigates key issues such as price fluctuations, inadequate storage infrastructure, high transportation costs, limited direct market access, and the dependence on middlemen. A descriptive research design was employed, and data were collected from 125 maize farmers through structured questionnaires. Statistical tools like percentage analysis, Likert scale, chisquare test, and ranking methods were used to interpret the data. The findings reveal a general lack of awareness among farmers regarding government schemes, market trends, and digital marketing platforms. The study underscores the need for improved policy awareness, enhanced storage and transportation facilities, promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and the use of digital tools to empower farmers. Recommendations are proposed to address these marketing constraints and foster a more sustainable and profitable maize production ecosystem in the region

 Abstract

The socks were produced using yarns with a 30s Ne count, consisting of two different compositions: 100% cotton and a blend of 60% cotton with 40% bamboo. The 30s Ne refers to the yarn's thickness, indicating a finer yarn suitable for creating comfortable and durable socks. The use of 100% cotton yarn ensures softness, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties, while the cotton-bamboo blend combines the natural qualities of cotton with the added benefits of bamboo, such as enhanced moisture management, anti-bacterial properties, and sustainability. This combination of yarns contributes to the overall comfort and functionality of the socks.

 Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent forms of cancer affecting women globally, and early detection plays a crucial role in reducing morbidity and mortality. Breast Self-Examination (BSE) is a simple, cost-effective method for early detection. Aim: This study aims to assess the awareness and knowledge regarding BSE among women in selected rural areas of Haryana. Methodology: A descriptive research design was adopted. The study included 60 women selected through non-probability purposive sampling. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Among 60 participants, 16.7% had poor knowledge, 55% had average knowledge, and 28.3% had good knowledge. Factors such as education and previous exposure to information on BSE showed a significant association with awareness levels. Conclusion: The study reveals that while awareness exists among some women, the overall knowledge regarding BSE remains limited. Targeted health education and community-based interventions are essential to empower women with life-saving knowledge and practices.

 Abstract

The exponential rise of online shopping has significantly influenced consumer behavior and led to the widespread adoption of digital wallets as a preferred payment method. This study explores the impact of e-commerce growth on the adoption and usage of digital wallets among Indian consumers aged 18 to 55. By employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys and secondary data analysis, the study identifies key factors driving digital wallet usage--such as convenience, security, faster checkout, and promotional offers like cashback. Findings reveal that while a majority of users appreciate the speed and ease of use provided by digital wallets, concerns around security, privacy, and limited merchant acceptance remain notable barriers to adoption. The research also highlights the growing trend of digital wallets being used for impulse purchases and daily transactions. Based on the insights gained, the study offers suggestions to enhance digital wallet features, promote trust, and expand their usability. Ultimately, the study underscores the transformative role digital wallets play in shaping the future of online shopping and digital payment ecosystems

 Abstract

Abstract Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) steel pipes are critical in high-pressure applications, and their manufacturing quality directly influences safety and reliability. This paper explores the integration of digital manufacturing technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the precision, efficiency, and defect detection capabilities in LSAW pipe production. Leveraging machine learning (ML) algorithms, such as convolutional neural networks and object detection models like YOLOv5, combined with sensor-based monitoring systems, enables real-time quality prediction and process optimization. This approach significantly reduces the risk of welding defects, improves operational efficiency, and supports adaptive control throughout the welding lifecycle. The results indicate that incorporating AI-driven quality monitoring in digital manufacturing frameworks can substantially elevate the quality and consistency of welded steel pipes, paving the way for autonomous, intelligent production lines.
