Electric vehicles (EVs) are widely recognized as an effective solution for reducing environmental pollution and promoting sustain-able transportation. However, the performance and reliability of EVs strongly depend on efficient battery management. Convention-al Battery Management Systems (BMS) mainly monitor parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and State of Charge (SoC), but they provide limited capabilities for predictive analysis and optimization. This paper introduces an AI-powered battery optimization and performance management system for electric vehicles. In our im-plementation, we observed that machine learning models can effectively analyse battery usage patterns and estimate the State of Health (SoH) with consistent reliability. By analysing how the battery is used and how the car responds, the platform spots early signs of battery degradation and helps steer better maintenance choices. What we found during development is that combining monitoring, prediction, and charging recommendations within a single plat-form makes the system more practical for real-world usage. It relies on explainable AI so users can actually understand the model's predictions, seeing what factors really impact battery performance. With these insights, the system offers practical actions to im-prove battery operation and prevent unnecessary damage. In short, this system highlights how artificial intelligence can transform EV battery management. Early feedback and intelligent advice help batteries last longer, boost performance, and make electric vehicles more reliable.

Abstract: The proliferation of FinTech-driven digital payments has emerged as a transformative force in enhancing financial inclusion and streamlining Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanisms, particularly in underserved regions such as the BR Hills Tribal Region of Karnataka. This study investigates how FinTech innovations such as mobile payments, digital wallets, and blockchain-based solutions have impacted the efficiency, accessibility, and reach of government welfare schemes through DBT, while fostering broader financial inclusion among tribal and remote communities. Findings suggest that digital financial technologies significantly reduce transaction costs, mitigate corruption, and ensure timely benefit delivery. However, challenges such as digital literacy barriers, infrastructural constraints, and the digital divide persist, necessitating targeted policies and inclusive regulatory frameworks. The integration of FinTech with government initiatives holds considerable potential for sustainable economic development and social equity, provided strategic efforts address these barriers. This underscores the importance of adaptive regulation, community-based financial literacy programs, and infrastructure development to maximize the positive impact of digital payments on DBT and financial inclusion in Karnataka's tribal regions

Existentialism may be considered one of the influential trends of contemporary philosophy. This trend was developed by various thinkers. It mainly emphasizes on the concrete human being with all possibilities that one can become something as per his/her wishes. The existence of human being cannot be defined from a single aspect. In discussing the issue of existence we have to discuss the other aspects of man like, freedom, choice, consciousness, nothingness etc. In this paper an attempt will be made to discus human existence from the theistic and atheistic approach represented by Kierkegaard and Sartre respectively.

Floating wetlands are state-of-the-art, eco-friendly designs for wastewater and sewage treatments. They are artificial floating mats planted with aquatic vegetation which absorb and eliminate pollutants from contaminated water through biological, physical, and chemical processes. Floating wetlands can accomplish what the natural wetland does, but provide advantages of flexibility and cost effectiveness for small-scale and/or urban applications. This seminar will continue to explore the concept, design, benefits, disadvantages, and applications of floating wetlands for treating wastewater. Case studies presented will demonstrate some of the success floating wetlands have achieved in nutrient removal, suspended solids mitigation, and as aesthetic enhancements to receiving bodies of water. The overall conclusions are that floating wetlands are a viable, sustainable, low-cost and relatively low-maintenance option for decentralized wastewater management in India.

The rapid spread of infectious diseases poses significant challenges to global healthcare systems, emphasizing the need for early detection and continuous monitoring solutions. This research introduces a wearable machine learning framework designed for the early identification of infectious diseases through real-time physiological signal analysis. The proposed system integrates multimodal sensors within a compact wearable device to capture vital parameters such as body temperature, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate. Collected data are processed through an optimized machine learning pipeline that includes preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification modules. Advanced algorithms such as Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Deep Neural Networks (DNN) are evaluated to identify infection-related anomalies with high accuracy. Experimental results demonstrate that the framework achieves robust performance in distinguishing infected from non-infected states, while maintaining low power consumption suitable for continuous use. The proposed model not only enhances disease surveillance and prevention capabilities but also provides a scalable solution for remote health monitoring in resource-constrained environments.

Our Bengal is a riverine state. Rivers have been a flowing life for ages. Rivers are a common entity of nature. A river does not belong to any territory; a territory belongs to a river. Geographically, in terms of the history of land evolution, this Bengal is ruled by the river system. And a terrible natural disaster is flood. Almost every year, the people of the state are victims of this terrible flood. As a result, in addition to causing damage, life, resources and the environment are being destroyed. Since Midnapore district is located near the Bay of Bengal, the number of rivers here is quite significant. Several rivers like Hooghly, Kansai or Kangsabati, Kaliaghai, Shilai, Dwarkeswar, Subarnarekha flow through Midnapore district. The rivers and reservoirs flowing from the surrounding hilly areas were particularly responsible for the floods in this district.Floods are natural disasters that cannot be prevented, but with timely preparation and the use of science, information technology, and public awareness, it will be possible to reduce the amount of damage. Floods caused by sudden swelling of the river and heavy rainfall are a common occurrence in Midnapore district. Severe floods occurred in Midnapore in 1823, 1831, 1832, 1833, 1848, 1850, 1864, 1866, 1868, 1913, 1920 and 1942, resulting in loss of life and extensive crop damage. Several important embankments were constructed and maintained by the Public Works Department to protect the land from inundation.

The rapid growth of smart cities has introduced advanced surveillance systems aimed at ensuring public safety and reducing crime. However, conventional methods for violence detection in urban environments often face limitations such as low accuracy, delayed response, and poor adaptability to complex scenarios. This research proposes UrbanGuard, an intelligent deep learning model designed for accurate and real-time violence recognition in smart city infrastructures. The model integrates convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to capture both spatial and temporal features from video streams, enabling robust detection of violent activities in crowded and dynamic urban settings. A hybrid feature extraction strategy is employed to improve classification performance, while an optimized training mechanism enhances the model's scalability across diverse datasets. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that UrbanGuard achieves superior precision, recall, and F1-score compared to traditional machine learning and baseline deep learning approaches. The results highlight its effectiveness for proactive surveillance, supporting law enforcement agencies with faster decision-making and contributing to safer, more resilient smart city ecosystems.

The Runja (also spelled Rounja or Runjala) is a rare and endangered ritual instrument embedded within the hereditary bardic system of the Vishwakarma (Vishwa Brahmin) communities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Both a percussion instrument and a vehicle of sacred genealogy, the Runja occupies a distinctive place within Shaivite ritual soundscapes. Crafted from brass and animal hide, capable of producing complex rhythmic patterns and said to generate thirty-two tonal variations, it accompanies mythological narration, lineage recitation, and artisan cosmology. Drawing upon ethnographic accounts, oral narratives, and folklore documentation--including reportage by Aravind Arya (2021)--this article examines the Runja's origin myths, performance grammar, socio-religious patronage, organology, and its present endangered status. The study argues that the Runja represents a sonic archive of artisan identity, functioning simultaneously as ritual instrument, genealogical record, and sacred sound technology. Immediate documentation and heritage intervention are urgently required.
