 Abstract

This paper investigates the mechanical properties of natural fiber-reinforced polymer composites using Madhuca longifolia trunk fibers as reinforcement in a polyester resin matrix. The trunk fibers were collected from readily available local sources, cleaned, cut into small lengths of around 5 mm, and sun-dried for an entire day prior to the creation of the composite. The composites were made using a manual hand lay-up technique with a 30% fiber weight fraction. Composite specimens were subjected to impact and flexural tests in compliance with standard testing procedures. The results show that the resulting composite has a flexural strength of 17.18 MPa and an impact energy of 0.2 J. The measured mechanical performance is caused by the Madhuca longifolia fibers' efficient dispersion and strong interfacial bonding with the polyester matrix. The findings indicate that Madhuca longifolia trunk fibers might be utilized as a useful, sustainable, and eco-friendly reinforcing material for polymer composites. These composites may find usage in lightweight and non-structural engineering applications.

 Abstract

Electric vehicles require continuous supervision of critical parameters to ensure operational safety, reliability, and long service life. This paper presents a quality-oriented electric vehicle monitoring and controlling system based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The proposed system continuously monitors battery voltage, load current, and temperature using embedded sensors interfaced with a microcontroller. Real-time data acquisition enables early detection of abnormal conditions such as over-current, under-voltage, and overheating. When predefined threshold values are exceeded, the system initiates protective control actions and generates audio alerts to inform the user immediately. The monitored data can also be visualized remotely through IoT communication, enabling effective supervision and fault diagnosis. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system enhances vehicle safety, improves battery and motor protection, and supports quality-oriented operation of electric vehicles with low implementation cost.

 Abstract

The comparison of natural and synthetic emulsifiers has drawn a lot of attention due to the growing need for safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly cosmetic products. Emulsifiers have a direct impact on the texture, stability, and performance of products by stabilizing oil-water mixes in formulations including creams, lotions, and serums. The purpose of this study is to assess and contrast the effectiveness, stability, safety, and environmental impact of natural and synthetic emulsifiers used in cosmetic compositions. Natural emulsifiers that come from microbial, plant, or animal sources are prized for their skin-friendliness, low toxicity, and biodegradability.. However, in various climatic conditions, they could have drawbacks like decreased stability and a shorter shelf life. Synthetic emulsifiers, on the other hand, are chemically designed to offer better stability, consistency, and a longer shelf life, which makes them ideal for large-scale manufacturing. However, their long-term appropriateness has been questioned due to worries about environmental persistence and possible skin irritation. This study uses formulation analysis and performance evaluation to illustrate the benefits and drawbacks of each category. According to the study's findings, natural emulsifiers provide a safer and more sustainable option while synthetic emulsifiers provide stability and durability. This suggests that eco-friendly cosmetic formulas are becoming more and more popular.

 Abstract

This study examined the level of occupational stress experienced by middle school teachers and also explored factors within the school that may influence and lead to said stress. It also examined the influence of student gender composition on middle school teachers' stress. A comparative research design was adopted, involving a sample of 120 teachers from parts of Karnataka, who were divided based on teachers handling middle school boys and those handling girls. Occupational stress index was used to assess stress levels. Independent sample t-test was applied to analyse the data. The findings revealed that middle school teachers handling grade 5-8 experience moderate levels of stress in their jobs with no significant difference between the groups scores.

 Abstract

The life insurance industry continues to face serious challenges from identity-related fraud, manual processing delays, and inadequate audit transparency. This paper presents the design and partial implementation of a Secure Life Insurance Claim System (SLICS) that integrates biometric verification--specifically face recognition via OpenCV--with multi-factor OTP authentication to strengthen claimant identity assurance at every stage of the claim lifecycle. The system follows a three-tier architecture and incorporates an automated workflow engine that validates submissions before routing them to an insurance officer for adjudication. The prototype demonstrates the complete claim journey: policy identity verification, mobile OTP (MFA 1/2), email OTP (MFA 2/2), biometric face match, document upload, and automated submission confirmation. Preliminary results confirm the feasibility of the approach and its potential to reduce fraudulent approvals, accelerate settlement timelines, and improve transparency for beneficiaries

 Abstract

Adolescent health is a crucial aspect of overall development, covering physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Poor adolescent health can lead to serious consequences such as malnutrition, mental health issues, substance abuse, and reproductive health problems. Lack of awareness among adolescents increases the risk of unhealthy behaviors and long-term complications. DESIGN: A quasi-experimental research design was used to assess the effectiveness of the structured teaching programme. PARTICIPANTS: 60 adolescents were selected using a non-probability convenient sampling technique from selected rural areas of Mehsana district. , INTERVENTION: A structured teaching programme on adolescent health and its consequences was administered. TOOL: A self-structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess knowledge levels. RESULT: The post-test mean knowledge score (13.82) was higher than the pre-test mean score (6.85). The calculated t-value (23) showed that the structured teaching Programme was effective. Chi-square test revealed association between knowledge and selected demographic variables. KEYWORDS: Assess, Effectiveness, Adolescent Health, Consequences, Knowledge, Structured Teaching Programme.

 Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technologies has increased exposure to cyber threats, particularly those targeting human vulnerabilities. Social engineering attacks exploit psychological manipulation to deceive users into revealing sensitive information. This paper presents an empirical study evaluating awareness levels among university students using a structured survey of 182 respondents. The analysis examines awareness, behavioral tendencies, and susceptibility to phishing and related attacks. Results indicate that while 64% of respondents are aware of phishing, over 41% still engage in risky behaviors such as clicking unknown links and password reuse. The study highlights a gap between awareness and secure practices and proposes targeted awareness programs and curriculum integration to mitigate risks.

 Abstract

The present study was undertaken to examine the awareness of the Right to Education (RTE) Act among secondary school teachers. For this purpose, both Indian and foreign research studies related to the topic were reviewed. The study adopted the descriptive survey method as the appropriate research design. A sample of 100 teachers working in secondary schools was selected through the stratified random sampling technique. To collect the required data, the investigator developed a questionnaire to assess the opinions of teachers regarding their awareness of the RTE Act. The collected data were analyzed by applying statistical techniques such as Mean, Standard Deviation (SD), t-test, and F-test. The scores of different groups were compared with respect to variables such as gender, category, educational qualifications, teaching experience, type of management, and locality. The findings of the study were interpreted in relation to earlier research, and appropriate suggestions and recommendations for further studies were also provided.

 Abstract

Face recognition is one of the most widely used biometric technologies for identification and authentication. Human faces are complex and dynamic, requiring efficient recognition techniques. This paper presents a face recognition-based system using Python and OpenCV for real-time detection and identification. The system utilizes algorithms such as Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for feature extraction and recognition. It can be applied in areas such as attendance management, security, and access control. The proposed system improves accuracy, reduces manual effort, and provides a reliable and efficient solution. However, challenges such as lighting conditions and facial variations still affect performance, which can be improved using advanced techniques.
