 Abstract

Drowsy driving poses a significant threat to road safety, contributing to a substantial number of accidents worldwide. To mitigate this risk, we present a Real-Time Drowsiness Detection and obstacle avoiding system (RTDDOAS). This system is a smart safety device for car drivers that can detect sleep by using eye detection sensor and alert them by using alarm and vibration motor. The proposed system employs a combination of facial recognition, eye tracking, and physiological sensors to accurately assess the driver's level of alertness. Facial landmarks are detected and tracked in real-time to analyze facial expressions and detect signs of drowsiness, such as drooping eyelids. Concurrently, eye tracking technology monitors the driver's eye movements and blink patterns to identify indicators of fatigue.Machine learning algorithms, trained on a diverse dataset of drowsy and alert driving behaviors, are utilized to classify the driver's state and predict the likelihood of impending drowsiness. These algorithms continuously adapt and improve their performance through real-time feedback, ensuring robust and reliable detection capabilities. In the event of detected drowsiness reaching a critical threshold, the RTDDOAS activates an obstacle avoiding mechanism to safely bring the vehicle to a stop, whenever they find obstacles by altrasonic sensor. Utilizing vehicle-to-infrastructure communication systems, the system identifies nearby safe locations for parking and initiates the process autonomously, minimizing the risk of accidents and ensuring the well-being of both the driver and other road users.

 Abstract

Packaging is a method, that protects the product against the impacts of external gasses, humidity, microorganisms, and bacteria of any kind. In the pharmaceutical industry, packaging has been crucial since it protects the product's integrity in a variety of ways, including by offering display, protection, identity, and information. Pharmaceutical companies are the most innovative when it comes to packaging. The packaging's main objective is to protect and preserve drugs while also giving clients access to legal information and formulations. Containers and closures, which serve as the primary packing materials, are made from a variety of glass, metal, and plastic materials. Therefore, we must pick the components carefully to avoid affecting the product's therapeutic effect. In this review article, we look into the materials, container kinds, and recent packaging innovations in the pharmaceutical sector.

 Abstract

The study deals with the impact of the effectiveness of overall satisfaction level of patients on the SERVQUAL dimensions such as (RATER) Reliability, Assurance, Tangibility, Empathy and Responsiveness. The study relies on the primary data, collected from 347 respondents respectively and from the people who visit the private hospitals in Kumbakonam area. Using SERVPERF, can help the hospital target its audience and obtain feedback on the level of the satisfaction of their carriers. To conclude, the SERVPERF system is really useful in private hospitals because it helps them to not only evaluates the level of care that is offered there, but also to increase it. The collected data were processed using SPSS as well as Smart PLS Software using statistical testing such as chi-square, regression analysis, percentage analysis, correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA, and Factor analysis. The results indicate that the factor variables like reliability, assurance, tangibility, empathy and responsiveness have a great positive internal connection with the happiness that the patients of the hospitals are experiencing.

 Abstract

Among all the renewable energy sources, the Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind turbine generator system with variable-pitch control, variable speed scheme is most popular in power industry. This system can be operated either in grid connected or standalone mode. For study of complete WECS, i.e. the modeling, control of DFIG based WECS is required in both operating modes during steady state and dynamic state to operate it for better performance. In this paper, a DFIG-based wind turbine generator model connected to a constant source voltage and constant frequency grid is modelled in the MATLAB/SIMULINK and its corresponding generator and turbine control structure is implemented. Control structure of WECS is explained. The steady state behavior of the overall wind energy conversion system is studied. In this paper rotor side converter (RSC) and grid side converter (GSC) are controlled by stator voltage oriented control with PI controller.

 Abstract

This paper aims to tackle the challenge of predicting stock market trends using artificial intelligence (AI) strategies. The prediction process involves two primary analyses: technical and fundamental. In the technical analysis, regression machine learning (ML) algorithms are utilized to forecast the stock price trend based on historical price data by the end of a business day. On the other hand, fundamental analysis employs classification ML algorithms to assess public sentiment derived from news and social media. For the technical analysis, historical price data is extracted from Yahoo Finance, while fundamental analysis involves the scrutiny of public tweets on Twitter related to the stock market to gauge the impact of sentiments on market forecasts. The findings indicate a median performance, suggesting that, given the current state of AI technology, it is premature to assert that AI can outperform the stock markets.

 Abstract

The present study has been undertaken with the aim to formulate and evaluate the antiinflammatory gel containing Achyranthes aspera leaves extract. The gel formulation was designed by using water extract of leaves of Achyranthes aspera. Topical anti-inflammatory activity of gel was also evaluated. The gel was prepared by using Carbopol 940 (1% w/v), Achyranthes aspera extract propylene glycol, methyl parabene, propyl parabene, tri-ethanolamine, Lavender oil and required amount of distilled water. The prepared gels were evaluated for physical appearance, pH, and spread ability, skin irritation to observe toxicity or side effects and also for anti-inflammatory activity.

 Abstract

Driver fatigue remains a significant cause of road accidents globally, necessitating the development of effective drowsiness detection systems to enhance road safety. This project presents a prototype for a non-intrusive real-time drowsiness detection system utilizing an Arduino Nano board and infrared (IR) sensor technology. The system focuses on monitoring the driver's eye movements, particularly eye blinks, as indicators of drowsiness. By analyzing the frequency, duration, and intensity of eye blinks, the system triggers an alarm and sends warnings to the driver if prolonged eyelid closure is detected, signaling potential drowsiness. Leveraging computer vision techniques, including facial landmark detection and eye aspect ratio calculation, the system provides a cost-effective and efficient solution for mitigating the risks associated with driver fatigue. Validation through real-world testing and integration with existing driver assistance systems further demonstrates the system's potential to contribute to overall road safety and accident prevention.

 Abstract

Now in Modern days because of global warming and climate changes various challenges were faced in coal mines. In response to the urgent need for mitigating environmental challenges and enhancing operational efficiency in coal mines, the integration of advanced technologies becomes imperative. This project proposes an innovative approach by implementing a Smart Coal Mine System using IoT principles and MQTT protocol, centred around a Raspberry Pi controller. The system is designed to intelligently monitor and manage critical parameters within the underground mine environment, including temperature, humidity, gas levels and visibility in mines. By employing low-power and cost-effective Raspberry Pi, coupled with state-of-the-art sensors, the project aims to provide real-time data on the mine's climate conditions. In the event of an anomaly, such as a sudden increase in temperature, humidity, gas levels, and less visibility the system triggers a response mechanism. As a proactive measure, if there is any sudden increase in any of those sensor values along with the data log it is sent to the server's mail of the subscriber.
