 Abstract

A sick child necessitates hospitalisation. Hospitalization is a stressful condition in which the affected person and the family members face a variety of real and imagined threats. Before and throughout their children's hospitalisation, parents endure a significant level of stress and anxiety. It may be due to different factors such as both physiological and psychological factors. It is proved that anxiety can be managed with diaphragmatic breathing exercise and other complementary therapies. The objective of this study was to assess the effectiveness of diaphragmatic breathing exercise on anxiety among parents of chronically ill children. A quasi experimental (Non-equivalent pre-test- post-test control group design) was used for the present study. 50 parents of chronically ill children were select using purposive sampling technique and those who were selected for the experimental group received intervention for five days thrice in day. Before starting with the intervention pre-test was carried out to assess the anxiety of the parents.at the end of the fifth day post-test was carried out to assess the effectiveness of diaphragmatic breathing exercise on anxiety. Descriptive and inferential statistics was used to analyse the data and to assess the effectiveness of diaphragmatic breathing exercise on anxiety. All the parents before the administration of diaphragmatic breathing exercise had high levels of anxiety. After the administration of diaphragmatic breathing exercise level of anxiety has decreased significantly (t24=11.85, p=0.001). There was a significant difference in the level of anxiety among the parents of chronically ill children between experimental and control groups (t48=10.24, p=0.001). There was a significant association between the pre intervention anxiety score and birth order of children in the control group (p=0.02). Interpretation, conclusion and finding of the present study has shown diaphragmatic breathing exercise was effective in the reduction of anxiety among the parents of chronically ill children.

 Abstract

Transportation is a crucial part of everyday life. The increasing population and fast-paced life have created a need for convenient and efficient forms of transportation. This has led to the emergence of private transportation services such as Ola Cabs. With Ola, customers can book a cab in real-time, track their vehicle in transit, and choose from a range of payment options. The study's objective is to identify the factors which influence people to use Ola cabs and to analyse the customer satisfaction towards Ola cabs in Coimbatore city. The descriptive research design and Simple Random Sampling is used for the research. The data are gathered through structured questionnaire and the sample size is 100 respondents. The tools used for the Study are Rank Analysis and Chi-square test. The study concluded that Ola cab is providing a good customer experience to the users in Coimbatore city.

 Abstract

Emails are frequently utilized as a way of personal and professional communication. Banking information, credit reports, login data, and other sensitive personal information are commonly transmitted over email. This makes them valuable to cybercriminals, who can exploit the knowledge for their gain. Phishing is a technique used by con artists to steal sensitive information from people by impersonating well-known sources. The sender of a phished email can persuade you to disclose personal information under pretenses. The detection of a phished email is treated as a classification problem in this research, and this paper shows how machine learning methods are used to categorize emails as phished or not. SVM classifier attains a maximum accuracy of 0.998 percent in email classification. This research examines the various state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) algorithms currently used to detect phishing emails at different stages of the attack. A comparative assessment and analysis of these methodologies are performed. This provides an overview of the topic, its immediate solution space, and potential future research possibilities.

 Abstract

High dynamic contrast real world scenes cannot be often captured by a sensing device on a single shot. This can be overcome by representing these scenes as a series of differently exposed images. In this paper, a novel algorithm for fusing such images by using gradient information is proposed. From a set of under or over exposed images the proposed approach is capable of producing informative and complete image than any of the input image. A quality measure is used to find gradient changes among different exposed images. The gradient magnitude implies the pixel's exposure quality that decreases as image becomes under or over exposed. Hence it can be used to preserve details present in exposure sequence. Thus good information from each of the given images is fused together to form a resultant image whose quality is superior to any of the input images.

 Abstract

In order to improve the accuracy of recognition to reduce computing costs, quality-based frame selection is employed in video face recognition. In this article, the facial images for face recognition are chosen from a videos using a variety of criteria, such as face symmetry, sharpness, contrast, the proximity of the lips to the teeth, brightness, and eye openness. The Viola-Jones and KLT algorithms are used in our paper to continuously detect images in a video . We also give an overview of Deep Learning (DL) models that are applied to video frames, using a variety of techniques to assess image simplicity and selecting a limited selection of the best video frames. We recommend utilising a lightweight convolutional neural network to determine the frame quality using deep learning methods

 Abstract

The goal of this study was to choose and identify the sample, extract Sterculia lychnophora, and analyze for the presence of phytochemicals using a preliminary test. Primary screening of phytochemicals and qualitative analysis of secondary metabolites such as tannins, saponins, phenols, terpenoids, flavonoids, alkaloids, and lipids The primary goal of this research is to determine the current status of bioaccumulation of several heavy metals in Sterculia lychnophora. The Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) flame absorption technique was used to measure the quantity of heavy metals in chosen samples. Heavy metals were chosen for their importance in human health and availability in agricultural fields. Cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), arsenic (As), and mercury (Hg) have all been quantified. Amount of different metal ions detected in various samples of sterculia lychnophora are Copper (Cu) (23.31 mg/kg), Zinc (Zn) (38.34 mg/kg) ,iron (Fe)(47.83mg/kg),Manganese (Mn) (139.92 mg/kg), Nickel (Ni) (0.5 mg/kg),Cadmium (Cd) (0.5 mg/kg),Arsenic (As) (1.21 mg/kg), Lead (Pb) (20.54 mg/kg) and mercury (Hg) (0.5 mg/kg) was detected in selected sample of sterculia lychnophora.

 Abstract

Background of the study: Cervical cancer, the third most prevalent malignancy among women worldwide, caused 275,000 deaths in 2008, of which 88% occurred in developing countries and 159,800 in Asia. India has the greatest number of cervical cancer patients in the globe, with one out of every five cervical cancer patients worldwide being Indian. Purpose: The primary objective of the study is to increase rural women's awareness of cervical cancer's early detection and prevention in order to reduce its incidence. Methodology: The study employed a descriptive design to evaluate the knowledge of married women regarding cervical cancer. The current study was conducted among Parkwara village women. The sample size was set at 100, The sampling technique used to select study samples was convenience sampling. Structured Interview questions were administered to samples after consent. descriptive and inferential statistics was used to analysed the data. Results: Knowledge mean score of the rural women were 14.89, median was 15, standard deviation 4.4, mean percentage 49.13 and level of knowledge is average. Conclusion: The study's key findings: Cervical cancer was familiar to most American women. Religion strongly influenced rural women's cervical cancer knowledge. Their cervical cancer knowledge was strongly correlated with where they received it. The poll revealed the need of teaching women about cervical cancer, its risk factors, symptoms, and prevention. Launch large-scale cervical cancer education programmes in rural India.
