Abstract: Introduction: In young adult patients, a conventional fixed partial denture requires sufficient amount of tooth preparation of all surfaces of the abutment tooth, which might result in pulpal trauma and hypersensitivity. For such patients, a more conservative and less invasive treatment option is resin bonded prosthesis which preserves the remaining alveolar ridge and the soft tissue. This case report describes Maryland bridge as a treatment modality for an effective restoration of the missing anterior teeth. Case Report A 30 year old male patient reported to the Department of Prosthodontics with the chief complaint of missing lower anterior teeth and the unesthetic appearance due to the missing teeth.Treatment planning were explained to the patient and the patient opted for Maryland Bridge.Diagnostic impressions were made and cast were poured.Tooth Preparation was done on the lingual surfaces of 41 and 32 with chamfer finish line.Final impressions were made using putty lightbody. The nickel-chromium metal framework was fabricated and try-in was done. The prosthesis was finished, polished and glazed. The final prosthesis was luted using the self etch resin cement. Discussion Maryland Bridge is retained with the help of micromechanical retention. The Maryland bridges are alloy-specific, it is only utilised for non-precious alloys as precious alloys cannot be etched to give the micromechanical retention. Conclusion Maryland bridge is an effective treatment modality to restore single missing teeth in young patients. Index Terms - Fixed Partial denture,Chamfer Finish line,Self-etch,Micromechanical.

Multifaceted environmental challenges confronting the planet necessitate comprehensive strategies transcending the isolated, small-scale and localised initiatives. The complexity of contemporary environmental questions demands solutions that are both globally coordinated and locally implemented. This requires a multifaceted approach with a steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship. Green politics offers a framework that integrates ecological sustainability with social equity and strives to address environmental issues by advocating sustainable development, social justice and grassroots democracy. Green Populism is a recent phenomenon that sits at the intersection of populism, environmentalism and the multi-layered political challenges to ecological conservation. It may be denoted as a developing strand of populist politics exploring how populist movements frame environmental debates in terms of the 'people' versus the 'elite'.

This bibliometric study examines global research trends in the participation of households in the stock markets from 2010 to 2025. A total of 105 documents listed in the Scopus database were examined using R studio through Bibliometrics and Biblioshiny packages. The analysis includes trends, country- level research contributions, author productivity, thematic maps, and keyword co-occurrence networks. Evidence points towards a significant increase in research work, especially post 2015, and the United States, India and China leading as major contributors. The top authors and sources represent a multi-disciplinary contribution from economics, finance and behavioural sciences. Thematic mapping identifies four clusters at the centre: financial literacy, investment behaviour, policy frameworks and household risk aversion. Analysis of keyword co-occurrence is indicative of very strong associations among words like "financial literacy", "stock market involvement", and "behavioural finance", as evidence of the sustained research attention to these subjects. This piece of research supplies a comprehensive presentation of intellectual and thematic development with in this field and provides on guidance on future scholarly and policy-oriented study.

The mobile device is one of the fasted growing technologies that is widely used in a diversifying sector. Mobile devices are used for everyday life, such as personal information exchange - chatting, email, shopping, and mobile banking, contributing to information security threats. Users' behavior can influence information security threats. More research is needed to understand users' threat avoidance behavior and motivation. Using Technology threat avoidance theory (TTAT), this study assessed factors that influenced mobile device users' threat avoidance motivations and behaviors as it relates to phishing attacks. From the data collected from 137 mobile device users using a questionnaire, the findings indicate that mobile device users' perceived susceptibility and severity of phishing attacks have a significant correlation with a users' perception of the threat; mobile device users' motivation to avoid a threat is correlated to a users' behavior in avoiding threat; and a mobile device user's susceptibility to phishing attacks can be reduced by their perception of the threat. These findings reveal that a user's perception of threat increases if they perceive that the consequence of such threat to their mobile devices will be severe, thereby increasing a user's motivation and behavior to avoid phishing attack threats. This study is beneficial to mobile device users in personal and organizational settings

The purpose of this research was to formulate and assess a polyherbal wound healing ointment from extracts of Tridax Procumbens, Kedrostis Foetidissima, Myristica fragrans, and Azadirachta indica, four herbals traditionally and pharmacologically used for skin healing. The plants were harvested, identified, dried, and extracted using a Soxhlet apparatus with ethanol as a solvent. The polyherbal extracts were incorporated into an ointment base of beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, vitamin E, aloe vera gel, and lavender oil. The product was analyzed for phytochemical constituents, physical properties (pH, spreadability, stability), and antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Phytochemical screening established the presence of flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, and saponins, which are healing agents. The ointment demonstrated satisfactory physical stability, skin pH compatibility (5.8), and efficient antimicrobial zones of inhibition. The results confirm the synergistic wound healing potential of the chosen herbs and suggest this formulation as a promising natural alternative to the traditional topical agents.

In recent days, green synthesis of nanoparticles has gained attention due to its eco-friendly nature and biomedical applications. Conventional methods involve toxic chemicals, demanding sustainable alternatives for cancer treatment, particularly against drug-resistant lung cancer. Lung cancer remains a leading cause of mortality, necessitating novel, biocompatible, and cost-effective treatments. Silver nanoparticles synthesized using Acacia farnesiana offer a promising alternative with enhanced therapeutic efficacy and minimal toxicity. Analyzing existing studies, silver nanoparticles exhibit strong antimicrobial and anticancer potential. Green synthesis using plant extracts ensures eco-friendliness, cost-effectiveness, and biocompatibility. Acacia farnesiana-derived AgNPs show promising cytotoxicity against cancer cells, highlighting their potential in lung cancer therapy. Acacia farnesiana extract is prepared and mixed with silver nitrate (AgNO?) solution. The reduction process is monitored via UV-Vis spectroscopy. The synthesized nanoparticles are characterized using FTIR, XRD, TEM, SEM, and DLS. Cytotoxicity is assessed through MTT assays on A549 lung cancer cells, with ROS generation and apoptosis studies confirming their mode of action. Statistical analysis validates their anticancer potential, ensuring reproducibility and accuracy. This research highlights a green, cost-effective approach for lung cancer treatment. Acacia farnesiana-mediated AgNPs exhibit biocompatibility, reducing side effects while enhancing therapeutic efficacy. Their cytotoxicity against A549 cells, stability, and apoptosis induction confirm their potential. Future work focuses on optimizing formulation for targeted drug delivery and in-vivo evaluation.
