 Abstract

Protecting sensitive patient data in healthcare is crucial to prevent unauthorized access and breaches. Medical images such as MRI, CT scans, and X-rays contain confidential information that requires strong encryption to ensure security. Traditional encryption methods struggle with processing speed, complexity, and image integrity after decryption. This project introduces a secure encryption framework using the SM4 algorithm, a symmetric block cipher. The pixel-based encryption technique secures each pixel while preserving diagnostic quality. The system efficiently encrypts and decrypts images, making it suitable for real-time healthcare applications. Experimental results show high encryption speed, low computational overhead, and strong resistance to attacks like brute force and differential cryptanalysis. The decrypted images retain structural integrity, ensuring accurate medical diagnosis. This research highlights the importance of encryption in securing healthcare data. The SM4-based framework provides a scalable, efficient, and secure solution while ensuring privacy compliance and patient trust.

 Abstract

In a rapidly evolving mobility-driven economy like India, two-wheelers have become essential for daily commute and livelihood, particularly in semi-urban and rural regions. Recognizing the financial gap in vehicle ownership, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited (CIFCL), a prominent NBFC, has extended two-wheeler loan services through a strong offline network. This study explores borrower perceptions of CIFCL's lending practices, focusing on five key dimensions: loan processing efficiency, affordability, adequacy of the sanctioned credit volume, documentation simplicity, and trust in the lender. By evaluating customer experiences and satisfaction levels, the research provides insights into how traditional face-to-face lending models influence borrower trust and decision-making. The findings aim to support CIFCL in refining its offline loan services and offer broader implications for enhancing customer-centric strategies in India's competitive two-wheeler finance sector.

 Abstract

The development of artificial intelligent has drastically changed a number of company operations, and one of the main sectors that has seen the biggest change is human resource (HR) management. Among HR tasks, hiring stands out as a crucial area where AI usage is becoming more widespread. This study looks at how AI affects efficiency, accuracy, cost, and candidate experience in order to assess how well it can improve hiring practices in businesses.AI is being used in recruiting for activities like candidate sourcing, resume screening, chatbot-assisted initial interviews, and even predictive analytics for candidate-job fit. For example, if previous hiring data is used, it may inadvertently reinforce preexisting biases if it is not handled appropriately. Furthermore, the absence of human judgement in some steps of the process could result in the exclusion of possible high-performing applicants who don't align with traditional data. There are also ethical concerns regarding data privacy and transparency in algorithmic decision-making.

 Abstract

The Arab Spring, which began in late 2010, sparked widespread hopes for democratization across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This paper critically examines the aftermath of these uprisings, assessing whether they served as a genuine catalyst for democratic transition or merely an illusion. Through a comparative analysis of key states--Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Bahrain--it explores the divergent trajectories that followed the uprisings. While Tunisia emerged as a relative success story, other states experienced democratic backsliding, civil war, or entrenched authoritarianism. The study identifies factors influencing these outcomes, including institutional resilience, military-civil relations, international involvement, and socio-political cohesion. Ultimately, the paper argues that while the Arab Spring exposed deep-rooted discontent and reshaped political discourse, its democratizing potential was largely curtailed by internal and external constraints, rendering its legacy complex and uneven across the region.

 Abstract

Corporate governance has a central function in the establishment and stability of emerging markets. While these economies move from informal frameworks to market-based systems, corporate governance insures transparency, accountability, and investor confidence. The importance of corporate governance within emerging markets, challenges, as well as influence on economic development, foreign direct investment, and company performance are investigated in this paper. One of the most important advantages of strong corporate governance in emerging economies is the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI). Investors want to be assured that their capital will be protected from mismanagement and expropriation Emerging markets are usually confronted with special governance issues, such as poor regulatory systems, political uncertainty, poor investor protection, and corruption and unethical business practices issues. These contribute to uncertainty among investors and can discourage long-term economic development. Nevertheless, strong corporate governance structures counteract such risks by enhancing financial disclosure, safeguarding shareholders' rights, and ensuring proper business ethics.

 Abstract

The primary aim of this project is to provide electricity to a load based on priority by picking from one of four accessible sources: mains, generator, inverter, or solar, in the event of a power outage. The demand for energy is rising daily, and recurrent power outages are creating several issues in sectors such as industry, healthcare, and residential regions. An alternate configuration for a power supply is thus advantageous. This project utilizes four switches to illustrate the failure of the power supply source. Pressing any switch indicates the corresponding supply source is accessible. The Arduino board interfaces with switches to receive input signals. The Arduino board's output is sent to the relay driver IC, which activates the corresponding relay to ensure priority based power delivery to the load. LEDs powered by the mains initially display the output. Upon the failure of the mains supply, which is triggered without any pushing action on the switch, it will indicate that no supply is available. Activating switch 1, designated as the solar source, displays on the LCD that supply 1 is operational. The same procedure is repeated for the primary supply (i.e., 230 V), the inverter supply, and the generator, respectively. If both supply1 (solar) and supply3 (230 mains) are active simultaneously, precedence is given to supply1, the solar source. If both the solar and inverter supplies are operational simultaneously, precedence is given to the solar source. The 230V mains source takes precedence over the inverter supply when both are running at the same time. If any of the two supplies are operational simultaneously, precedence is always given to the first one. The project may be further improved by including more sources, such as wind power, and thereafter evaluating the most cost-effective power source based on the lowest tariff at any given time. We are using GSM. The GSM will transmit the SMS upon alterations to the supply.

 Abstract

The present study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of an antifungal topical cream incorporating clove oil, a natural extract known for its potent antimicrobial properties, particularly against fungal pathogens. Clove oil, rich in eugenol, was utilized as the primary active ingredient in various cream formulations using different concentrations. The creams were prepared using standard emulsification techniques and evaluated for physicochemical properties including pH, viscosity, spreadability, and stability. Antifungal efficacy was assessed through in vitro methods against common fungal strains such as Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger using the agar well diffusion method. Results indicated that the clove oil-based cream demonstrated significant antifungal activity, with higher concentrations showing improved zones of inhibition. The formulation also exhibited acceptable stability and dermatological properties, suggesting its potential as an effective, natural alternative to synthetic antifungal agents. This study highlights the therapeutic promise of herbal clove oil in developing safe and effective topical antifungal treatments.
