The term transnationalism has often been considered too general and encompassing. This study uses established Native American identity categories, legal, biological, and cultural - as well as self-identification - and applies them as lenses to literary transnational character identities to propose a more nuanced perspective. Through analyzing four transnational characters in Amitav Ghosh's novel Sea of Poppies, the interconnected yet individual histories, stories, and journeys resonate as a result of grounding in the loosely used concept of transnationalism. The characters Deeti, Paulette, Zachary and Neel are examined in detail with regards to these identity categories. As a result, cultural identities and self-identifications are most commonly prioritized, suggesting that citizenship is not the most commonly desired identity amongst transnationals in literature, either collectively or individually.

Aging is a global phenomenon. It is the normal process of time-related change which begins with birth and continues until death. These changes include how a person feels and functions with respect to physical or mental competences. It is important for individuals to increase their knowledge and understanding of aging so as to prevent discrimination and maltreatment of the elders in the society today. The public's perception of elderly people particularly elderly women is very unpleasant and can implant fear into individuals who are approaching the 60 years of age. In India, seventy five percent of elderly persons reside in rural areas out of which about 48.2 percent comprise of women. Today these elderly women face miserable life. Their health problems coupled with emotional wellbeing like depression, isolation, loneliness and frustration are serious crises. This may pose mounting pressures on various socio-economic fronts including pension outlays, health care expenditures, savings levels, and so forth. If these problems are not dealt effectively, they can become a source of tension and stress. There is an emerging need to pay greater attention to the life of elderly women and to promote holistic policies and programmes for dealing with the aging society.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is essential in innovative applications such as smart cities, smart homes, education, healthcare, and defense operations. IoT applications are particularly beneficial for providing healthcare because they enable secure and real-time remote patient monitoring to improve the quality of people's lives. This review paper explores the latest trends in healthcare-monitoring systems by implementing the role of the IoT. The work discusses the benefits of IoT-based healthcare systems with regard to their significance, and the benefits of IoT healthcare. We provide a systematic review on recent studies of IoT-based healthcare-monitoring systems through literature review. The literature review compares various systems' effectiveness, efficiency, data protection, privacy, security, and monitoring. The paper also explores wireless- and wearable-sensor-based IoT monitoring systems and provides a classification of healthcare-monitoring sensors. We also elaborate, in detail, on the challenges and open issues regarding healthcare security and privacy. Finally, suggestions and recommendations for IoT healthcare applications are laid down at the end of the study along with future directions related to various recent technology trends.

The retail sector has been profoundly impacted by the Internet's growing commercial power, culminating in the rise of online shopping commonly referred to as e-retail one of the fastest-growing Internet applications. The increase in Internet users has acted as a catalyst for the early adoption of the online shopping channel, creating opportunities for further expansion. The retail landscape is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the rapid growth of e-commerce and shifting consumer behaviours. Among the most significant demographic groups influencing this change is Generation Z (Gen Z), which includes individuals born between 1997 to 2012. This generation is especially noteworthy for its digital nativity having grown up in an era of technological advancements, social media, and ubiquitous Internet access. As Gen Z continues to emerge as a dominant consumer force, understanding the factors that influence their purchasing decisions toward e-retailers is crucial for businesses striving to remain competitive in this dynamic environment. This study investigates the consumer perceptions on E-store attributes, E-trust, E-satisfaction as Predictor of Patronage Behavioural Response of Consumer towards select e-retailers in Bengaluru City. This research can guide e-retailers in implementing dynamic content strategies that adapt in real time to user preferences. By utilizing insights into Gen Z's patronage behaviour, e-retailers can craft messages that align with their interests and values, thereby fostering deeper connections and encouraging repeat purchases.

The beauty of music lies in its ability to express our thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a deeply meaningful way. There are various ways like lyrics, melody, harmony, tempo, rhythm, dynamics that are powerful medium for expressing inner thoughts and aesthetic emotions. Rabindranath Tagore had profound insights into the art of music that can be explored through the lens of musical aesthetics. Tagore songs (Rabindrasangeet) always evoke deep and different emotions within us, guiding us through every stage of or lives. In this work, we have tried to identify the correlation between aesthetics and different parameters like emotion, melodic features, rhythmic features, lyrics etc., using Rabindrasangeet as the input media. No such work has been reported so far, to the best of our knowledge and we hope this novel venture contributes significantly to this field and put forward some new information regarding musical aesthetics.

The evolution of digital technology and internet penetration has significantly transformed the retail landscape in India. This research paper aims to investigate consumer preferences, motivations, and challenges related to online shopping. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 150 respondents, analyzing patterns based on demographics, product categories, and purchase behavior. The findings reveal that young consumers, especially in urban areas, are driving the growth of e-commerce due to convenience, competitive pricing, and product variety. The Indian banking sector performs a vital function in the nation's economic framework, serving as a foundation for financial stability and growth. It has been observed that competition presents challenges in the development and procurement of human resources in the present climate of highly unstable business conditions. Human resources (HR) are regarded as a source of economic competitive advantage and strength due to their importance and distinctiveness. By examining the prevailing HR practices and their ramifications, the paper aims to furnish insights into the evolving dynamics of HRM in Indian banks, anticipating future trends and challenges. The most critical factors that impact organizational performance and delineate an association's success are the retention and acquisition of human talent. Banking is particularly significant in any economy as it is a sector with a high concentration of people. It is indeed compelling to delve into HRM practices in a field that relies so heavily on human resources.
