 Abstract

This study investigates the impact of family relationships on the mental well-being of adolescents, highlighting how parenting styles, emotional support, and communication patterns contribute to psychological outcomes. Drawing on Attachment Theory and Social Learning Theory, it explores how different family dynamics influence factors such as self-esteem, mental toughness, and emotional resilience. A review of recent literature indicates that positive family environments--characterized by warmth, support, and open dialogue--promote better mental health, while dysfunctional dynamics, including neglect and conflict, increase the risk of anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. The research underscores the importance of healthy familial interactions in fostering adolescent mental well-being and suggests that improving family functioning can serve as a protective factor against mental health issues in youth.

 Abstract

A reliable electricity supply is essential for all aspects of modern life, including residential applications, research facilities, and healthcare services. As energy demand continues to rise and non-renewable resources become increasingly scarce, the adoption of sustainable, hybrid energy systems has become crucial. This project presents the design and implementation of an automated system that seamlessly switches between multiple power sources solar, mains, and generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply and cost-effectiveness. The system employs a microcontroller-based circuit integrated with transmitters to intelligently monitor and manage power inputs. This approach enhances the reliability and resilience of power delivery, minimizing the risk of outages and system failures.

 Abstract

The Ministry of Utmost Happiness is the second voluminous novel by Booker Prize awardee Arundhati Roy. The novel stretches upon various socio-economic and political themes with plethora of lively and named characters. Motherhood is a synonymous term and experience for woman. Being a biological mother is a natural role for woman, but motherhood is a social construct like gender. Motherhood is often considered a parameter to measure and judge woman for her perfection and being an ideal woman. Transgender can also be good mothers and can embrace motherhood by adoption. Woman, if she prefers to foster a child and discards to give birth to any biological child, she ought not to be judged in the wrong light. Giving birth to a baby and rearing a child are two different aspects of motherhood. In this article our endeavor would be to study various characters and circumstances that depict these culture and gender treatment of women and motherhood in Roy's second novel. The gender stereotype role of mother and motherhood has been delineated by the author in very lucid form with objective approach and least biasness. Transgender mother and mother of a transgender child, single parent mother, mother who adopts and aborts her own foetus, appear as characters in this novel to be analyzed critically. In the light of various theories we will study about motherhood in this research article in detail.

 Abstract

Ocular allergy is a condition affecting the external structures of the eyes, impacting approximately 15-20% of the global population. Abhishyanda is type of Sarvagata Netra Roga as having clinical feature like watery discharge, itching, and redness, which closely align with modern descriptions of allergic conjunctivitis. Ocular allergies are caused by the body's immune response to allergens. The treatment of Ocular allergy in modern ophthalmology encompasses a range of treatments, and this range of treatment are effective in providing symptomatic relief from allergic reactions. However, their long-term can cause severe, long-lasting, and in some cases, irreversible damage. The recurrence of allergic eye conditions is still not fully controlled. In Ayurveda, the management of diseases is approached broadly through two methods either Sodhana or Shamana. The Ayurvedic management of ocular allergy integrates both Sodhana and Shamana approaches. Present study is aimed to highlight effect of Ayurvedic Treatment.

 Abstract

The rising interest in sustainable and energy-efficient options for everyday tasks has inspired the creation of a solar-powered lawn mower. This initiative offers an eco-friendly substitute to conventional gasoline or electric mowers by relying primarily on solar energy. The design features solar panels mounted on the mower that capture sunlight and store it in a rechargeable battery. This stored energy powers a DC motor connected to the cutting blade, enabling efficient grass cutting without relying on fossil fuels.

 Abstract

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common bacterial infections, particularly among females. The increasing prevalence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) uropathogens poses a major challenge to effective treatment. This retrospective study, conducted at Zonal Hospital Dharamshala from January to December 2024, analyzed 959 urine samples to determine the prevalence of bacterial isolates and their antibiotic resistance patterns. The majority of samples (648) were from females, with the highest in the 18-45 age group. A total of 243 bacterial isolates were identified, predominantly Escherichia coli (86%), followed by Klebsiella pneumoniae (13%) and Enterobacter spp. (0.5%). High resistance was observed to ampicillin (81%) and ciprofloxacin (77%), while meropenem (90%) and piperacillin-tazobactam (88%) showed the highest sensitivity. Nitrofurantoin (75%) and fosfomycin (83%) also demonstrated good efficacy. The findings underscore the need for regular antibiogram-based updates to guide empirical therapy and promote rational antibiotic use to combat rising resistance in UTI

 Abstract

In the 1960's experimental theatre movement along the ongoing feminist movement together gave birth to the feminist theatre in India. The point of its argument is that after the Natyashastra by Bharata or since Aristotle'e poetics dramatic performances or texts were produced followed by the male ideologies. The evolution of feminist theatre subverts not only the theatrical tradition but also shares the predicament of women and underrepresented experiences of them in patriarchal society. Women question and feminist concern have been exposed in Indian Theatre in between 1980 and 1990 in a prominent way. Gayatri Charkravorty Spivak in her book Can the Subaltern speak? Says "What must the elite do to watch out for the continuing construction of the subaltern? The question of 'woman' seems most problematic in this context. Clearly if you are poor, black and female you get it in three ways, if however, this formulation is moved from the first-world context into the postcolonial (which is not identical with the third world) context, the description 'black' or ' of color' loses persuasive significance... The cautions I have just expressed are valid only if we are speaking of the subaltern woman's consciousness- or more acceptably subject" (Spivak, P.91). The paper explores how the play Ladies' Night depicts the predicament of women in present society. How women are assaulted for their dressing sense, disrespected for their behaviour and even teased and raped for being out at night. They feel as if no freedom is left for them in this patriarchal society and the situation gets reversed when the 'Goddess of Rape and Shame' with no name made a boy who is the representative of the patriarchy understand the situation by assaulting him tying like a corpse as women are treated , in a full moon night. In the end the boy feels why he is the only one to be assaulted like the girls. Even the play The Rape Artist portrays how women are the victim of this society and their opinion don't matter as they are raped only by the wish of a rapist. Even the mother of a rape accused will defend him as it is the fate of the women to be raped. Anupama Chandrasekhar's Play When the Crows Visit displays the theme of toxic masculinity. Akshay, who loves computer games and works for his old friend David in a Mumbai company loses his job after a violent incident during which he attacks a woman in the street outside a bar. Provoked partly by the comparative success of Uma, a female work colleague he returns to his mother and grandmother. The play also examines that Akshay's mother Hema turns a blind eye on the abusive nature of her son as his grandmother Jaya did on the deeds of his father and male violence is passed onto generations. Thus this paper reflects on the violence and marginalized experiences of women in the society.
