The delivery of information in libraries has undergone a significant transformation with the rise of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the concept of Library 2.0. Traditional print collections are gradually being replaced by digital formats, giving rise to modern digital libraries. Electronic resources (e-resources) now allow users to access and retrieve vast amounts of information quickly and efficiently from local, national, and international databases--even from remote locations. This research aims to explore the importance, various types, and the challenges associated with the use of e-resources in academic libraries. These digital platforms are especially beneficial because they support simultaneous access by multiple users, thereby playing a key role in enhancing academic performance and supporting the information needs of the user community.

In today's fast-paced and service-driven society, individuals often require assistance with everyday tasks, ranging from household chores to technical services. However, finding reliable help locally is often time-consuming and inefficient. This project presents the development of "Lavork - A Location-Based Task Marketplace Platform", a modern web application that connects users seeking help with nearby service providers, promoting flexible work opportunities and efficient service exchange within communities. The platform is designed using the MERN stack--MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js--and integrates Google Maps API for real-time location discovery. Lavork enables users to post tasks, apply for tasks, track task status, and complete assignments with a built-in review and rating system to ensure trust and transparency. Tasks can be filtered by category, budget, distance, and completion status. The frontend is developed with React and Tailwind CSS, enhanced with Framer Motion for dynamic user experience, while the backend ensures secure operations using JWT-based authentication and bcryptjs for encrypted password handling. Task and user data is managed using MongoDB, supporting quick retrieval with indexing and query optimization. Lavork also includes features like location-based task discovery, budget negotiation, and user reputation tracking, enhancing both usability and accountability. Future enhancements include real-time messaging, payment gateway integration, and AI-based task recommendations. By leveraging modern web technologies and geolocation services, Lavork delivers a scalable, secure, and intuitive solution for on-demand task fulfillment and community-based employment.

A key component of contemporary computer vision applications is real-time object identification, which makes it possible to dynamically identify and analyze different objects in video streams. In order to interpret video feeds from devices like the ESP32-CAM and mobile devices employing IP webcam software, this project shows how to integrate the YOLOv11 model with OpenCV. YOLOv11 is used to analyze live video frames for object detection as part of the approach. The results are then visually represented with bounding boxes, class labels, and confidence scores. The number of items identified in real-time is also tracked and shown through the implementation of an object counting feature. The system is incredibly flexible, allowing a wide range of video input sources and providing quick and accurate detections. This study demonstrates a reliable, scalable method of real-time object detection for applications in automation, surveillance, and other fields by fusing cutting-edge AI models with inexpensive hardware like the ESP32-CAM and easily available mobile streaming technologies.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder mainly associated with children. This disorder is very common all over the globe and its prevalence is increasing rapidly because of parents' busy schedule and hectic lifestyle of both the parents and the children. It is a neurodevelopmental disorder which is diagnosed by inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsivity in children as well as adults. ADHD can have other significant effects on the quality of life of a person such as increase in the risk of other psychiatric disorders and failure in the major parts of life such as educational failure, occupational failure and most commonly addictions. Transcriptomics is the study of all the expressed DNA in the form of mRNA produced after transcription at a time while exomics is the study of all the functional mRNA in a cell in the form of exomes after post-transcriptional changes occurred in the transcribed mRNA at a given time. By analysing the data derived from transcriptome and exome datasets we can try and understand the disorder on a level where the genes are expressed in the form of messenger RNA. This review explores the scope of transcriptomics and exomics in analysing and understanding ADHD.

Public Relations (PR) has undergone a profound transformation in the digital age, evolving from a primarily media-centric practice to an interactive, multidimensional communication strategy. Traditionally, PR revolved around carefully crafted messages disseminated through press releases, newspaper articles, broadcast media, and journalist relationships. These methods, while effective in building credibility and authority, often followed a one-way communication model where the public had limited opportunity to respond or engage with the message. The organization maintained control over its narrative, and any feedback or reaction came much later, often through formal channels like letters, editorials, or consumer feedback forms. In this model, the credibility of third-party media validation played a key role in shaping public opinion and trust. However, the rapid advancement of digital technologies, coupled with the proliferation of social media platforms, has shifted this model toward a two-way, real-time, and highly interactive engagement strategy. Digital PR has emerged as a dynamic evolution of traditional PR practices. It leverages the power of digital tools such as blogs, social networks, video-sharing platforms, influencer marketing, online press rooms, and search engine optimization (SEO) to communicate directly with audiences. This shift has been further accelerated by the evolving expectations of modern consumers, who now demand authenticity, transparency, and immediate responsiveness from brands and organizations. This research paper aims to explore this evolution in depth by comparing traditional and digital PR strategies across several key dimensions: trust, engagement, transparency, and influence on consumer behavior. Drawing upon established public relations theories, including Grunig and Hunt's Four Models of PR and Macnamara's framework of converged media, the paper places this transformation in a theoretical and historical context. Additionally, the study includes a quantitative analysis based on survey data collected from 61 respondents across different demographic categories. The survey sought to understand how today's audiences perceive, interact with, and are influenced by both traditional and digital PR formats. The findings indicate a significant shift in audience preference toward digital PR, with a strong majority finding it more engaging and interactive. Respondents cited real-time updates, the ability to comment and share, and the perceived authenticity of digital content as key reasons for this preference. However, traditional PR still holds relevance, particularly in areas requiring credibility, regulation, and formal communication--such as corporate disclosures, healthcare messaging, and political communication. The data also show that while digital PR is often seen as more transparent, it is not without its challenges. The fast-paced nature of digital media can lead to misinformation, cancel culture, and oversimplification of complex issues. Therefore, digital PR strategies must be carefully managed and continually adapted to maintain trust and relevance. This study argues for a hybrid model of public relations--an integrated communication approach that combines the structure and credibility of traditional media with the reach, speed, and interactivity of digital platforms. This integration is particularly vital in crisis communication, reputation management, and long-term brand building. Communication professionals must be equipped not only with traditional PR skills but also with expertise in digital content creation, audience analytics, social listening, and multimedia storytelling. By examining both academic literature and real-world data, this research provides a holistic understanding of how PR practices have adapted to the digital era. It offers actionable insights for PR practitioners, scholars, and business leaders seeking to navigate the changing media landscape. The paper concludes that the most effective public relations strategies today are those that prioritize audience connection, authenticity, and adaptability--creating a continuous dialogue between organizations and the public rather than a one-sided message delivery system. Ultimately, the evolution of PR reflects a broader shift in how society communicates. As audiences grow more empowered, informed, and participative, public relations must evolve into a relationship-building practice that is as much about listening and responding as it is about informing and persuading. This research contributes to the growing discourse on integrated PR strategies and serves as a resource for those aiming to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation in public communication.

This paper analyses Kim Stanley Robinson's The Ministry for the Future through the lens of climate justice and environmental equity. The novel envisions a near-future shaped by climate catastrophe, foregrounding the uneven distribution of environmental harm. Robinson critiques global capitalism's role in exacerbating ecological degradation and socio-political inequality. The formation of the Ministry signals an institutional attempt to redress climate injustice through both legal reform and subversive action. By centring voices from the Global South and portraying differentiated vulnerability, the narrative challenges hegemonic discourses of climate governance. Robinson's speculative interventions from carbon coins to eco-resistance pose questions about agency, legitimacy, and reparative justice. The novel reveals how ecological futures are inseparable from political and ethical restructuring. Environmental equity is portrayed not as an ideal, but as a survival imperative. Ultimately, the study situates the novel as a critical text within climate fiction that foregrounds justice-based frameworks for planetary change.

Anemia is a deficiency in the quantity or quality of hemoglobin or red blood cells, which reduces the blood's oxygen-carrying capacity. Anaemia in pregnant women is a big cause of concern owing to its double effect on mothers and infants. It is a public health issue in underdeveloped nations and a significant contributor to maternal morbidity as well as foetal and neonatal problems. The present cross-sectional study assessed the status of anemia among pregnant women receiving antenatal care at Community Health Centre Bhunga, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, from February 2022 to Oct 2022. About 140 subjects were thoroughly investigated, and the information regarding their general profile, along with socioeconomic status, was collected through a structured questionnaire. Their blood samples were analysed to determine haemoglobin concentration and to identify the types of anaemia present. The results showed that 72.14% of the subjects had anemia, with 17.14% having mild anemia, 54.28% having moderate anemia, and 0.71% having severe anemia. The findings also indicated 72.14% occurrences of anemia, with the highest frequency in the age group less than 20 years across all analyzed age groups. The association between risk factors and the anemia prevalence was also examined.
