Diabetes is a chronic health condition affecting millions worldwide, making early detection critical for preventing severe complications. This project focuses on developing an Intelligent Health Prediction System solely for predicting diabetes using machine learning techniques. Although heart disease datasets were initially referenced for broader understanding, the final system exclusively targets diabetes risk assessment. The process involves collecting diabetes-related health data, including glucose levels, blood pressure, BMI, and insulin measurements, followed by preprocessing steps such as handling missing values, normalization, and balancing the dataset with SMOTE. Important features are selected to enhance prediction accuracy, and the Random Forest algorithm is employed after comparative evaluation for its superior performance. The model is trained and tested using a split dataset, with its performance validated through metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. A user-friendly interface allows individuals to input health parameters and instantly receive personalized diabetes risk predictions. The system demonstrates high accuracy and real-time capability, offering proactive health insights to support early intervention and better diabetes management.

BACKGROUND: Pregnancy is an important stage in women's lives that requires adaptation to many physiological, psychological and sociological variables. Anxiety during pregnancy is one of the strong factors for exerting the ill consequences in delivery and the expected baby's birth. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: The aim and objectives of the study is to determine Adaptation to Pregnancy Related changes and Anxiety Level among Primigravida Mothers in selected hospitals, Kamrup(M), Assam. METHODS AND MATERIALS: An exploratory research design was used and Purposive sampling technique was used in obtaining adequate sample for the study. Study undertook 80 samples of primigravida mothers who came for antenatal checkup at the antenatal OPD and who are admitted in the antenatal ward from selected hospitals of Kamrup (M), Assam. RESULTS: The findings reveals that 76(95%) had moderate anxiety, 4(5%) had mild anxiety and none of the mothers suffers from severe anxiety. The study also revealed that the demographic variable participated in pre-conceptional counselling (p=0.017) had statistically significant association with level of anxiety among primigravida mothers at p<0.05. CONCLUSION: Through this study, the investigator concluded that although the primigravida mothers adapt to pregnancy related changes, their coping strategies varies from mother to mother and also their anxiety level. The respondents were provided with the handout on coping strategies related to pregnancy outcome as a guide for future pregnancies.

This paper aims to design and develop a low-cost, real-time monitoring system that alerts workers and notifies authorities about polluted areas. The system integrates various sensors, including air quality, temperature, humidity, and sound intensity sensors, with a PIC controller. The collected data is uploaded to the cloud using an ESP32S Wi-Fi module and transmitted to a cloud platform via MQTT protocol. A digital dashboard on a smartphone app checks for anomaly notifications and alerts users. If the industry fails to reduce pollution within a specified period, the pollution control board will shut down the industrial electricity supply until a penalty is paid, as per government rules and regulations.

The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is comprised of various traditional medicine systems, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Sowa-Rigpa. These historic practices have evolved over centuries and provide a unique and holistic means of healthcare with the potential to transform our perceptions and responses to human health. With its immense ability to evolve the right to health, not only in India but also globally, the IKS offers a significant opportunity for the world community to gain from traditional wisdom and knowledge. Nonetheless, the safeguarding and protection of the IKS are instrumental in its sustainability as well as the avoidance of misappropriation of traditional knowledge. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the existing legal and policy framework in India, which is intended to protect the IKS from exploitation and unauthorized use of traditional knowledge. In so doing, the critique addresses whether the current legal and policy framework serves to protect the IKS from exploitation and ensure that traditional knowledge is used sustainably to deliver healthcare. The article argues that the implementation of an effective legal framework, combined with sound implementation and collaborative research, is key to translating the complete potential of the IKS into translating the right to health. It is essential that the approach is multidimensional and includes not just the formulation of effective laws and policies but also that it forms institutional mechanisms for the protection and promotion of traditional knowledge. In addition, joint research and innovation are the key to unlocking the potential of the IKS and incorporating it into contemporary healthcare systems.

The effect of design parameters on the final output of an impeller is discussed where its intrinsic design properties like blade angle, shaft length in combination to its rotational rpm were studied. These parameters were optimized using surface roughness methodology and simulated using ansys, which gave us output combination among all possible iterations.

This research investigates the resilience of concrete when subjected to harsh chemical conditions, particularly in coastal and industrial regions where exposure to sodium chloride and sulfuric acid is prevalent. To address this challenge, M25 grade concrete was utilized, with 8% of the cement replaced by silica fume, a substance recognized for enhancing strength and durability. Concrete cubes were produced and cured under various conditions, including standard water and chemical solutions containing 2.5% sodium chloride and sulfuric acid. These specimens were subsequently evaluated after 7 and 28 days to assess their compressive strength, water absorption, and workability through slump testing. The findings provide valuable insights into the impact of chemical exposure on concrete and the protective role of silica fume. Ultimately, this study underscores the significance of incorporating supplementary materials like silica fume and employing rigorous testing protocols to develop more durable concrete for challenging environments.

The concept of Bhutagni (elemental metabolism) in Ayurveda represents a pivotal mechanism that facilitates the transformation of food substances based on their Panchabhautika composition. Following the primary digestion by Jatharagni, the five elemental components viz. Akasha, Vayu, Tejas, Jala, and Prithvi, undergo specific metabolic transformation through their respective Bhutagni, rendering the ingested matter Sajatiya (homologous) to bodily tissues. This review critically explores the role of Bhutagni Paka in bridging the heterologous attributes of food with the elemental constitution of Dosha, Dhatu and Mala. A comprehensive textual analysis of classical Ayurvedic treatises was undertaken and juxtaposed with contemporary biomedical literature to draw physiological parallels. Classical descriptions are aligned with modern physiological processes such as hepatic biotransformation, enzymatic pathways, and mitochondrial metabolism. Subcellular organelles such as the endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes, and mitochondria are proposed as analogues of Bhutagni, mediating transformations parallel to elemental metabolism in Ayurvedic physiology. The findings suggest that Bhutagni Paka offers a robust conceptual framework for understanding element-specific nutrient assimilation, offering an integrative framework for dietary therapeutics and metabolic regulation.
