This paper evaluates the effectiveness of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste management practices in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. With rapid urban growth driven by government initiatives and infrastructure development, the city generates significant quantities of C&D waste, the research is structured around three core objectives: (1) to assess the current practices of C&D waste management in Bhubaneswar; (2) to estimate the quantity of C&D waste generated in the city; and (3) to analyse existing gaps in implementation of national-level policies and propose an improved management framework. The study uses a combination of primary surveys, stakeholder interviews, secondary data analysis, and gap assessment. Results highlight major deficiencies in segregation, collection, recycling, and enforcement mechanisms. Based on the findings, the paper proposes a structured approach to enhance C&D waste governance aligned with sustainable urban planning principles. Through assessment of current practices, policy implementation, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, this study highlights key challenges, such as low awareness, weak regulatory enforcement, and limited infrastructure. Recommendations include improving waste segregation, expanding recycling capacity, and enforcing the C&D Waste Management Rules, 2016. The paper advocates for sustainable urban planning by integrating circular economy principles in C&D waste handling.

The purpose of education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge but the holistic development of personality and practical skills. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, keeping this goal in focus, has made skill development courses an integral part of the education system. By integrating education with creativity, professionalism, and self-reliance, this policy aims to contribute to the comprehensive development of the individual, society, and the nation. Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya also emphasized skill-based education in his educational philosophy. He stressed the importance of practical, moral, and employment-oriented education over purely theoretical learning. His thoughts clearly advocate for self-reliance through community participation, handicrafts, cottage industries, and small-scale enterprises. This research paper analyzes the skill development components mentioned in NEP 2020 and the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) 2023 in light of Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya's educational vision. The study reveals that integrating education with cottage industries, handicrafts, agriculture-based training, and small businesses can significantly support employment generation, self-reliance, and the holistic upliftment of society. In alignment with NEP 2020, Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) have been implemented at the undergraduate level, offering students the opportunity to learn various vocational skills of their interest and obtain formal certifications to shape their careers. The Indian Knowledge System 2023 (IKS 2023) is a significant initiative that aims to integrate India's traditional knowledge systems into modern education under the framework of NEP 2020. It proposes the inclusion of traditional skills such as handicrafts and folk arts into educational curricula. Thus, this study concludes that the value-based, practical, and self-reliance-promoting educational philosophy of Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya not only aligns with the objectives of NEP 2020 and IKS 2023 but also serves as a guiding model for building a self-reliant and employment-oriented education system in India.

This study explores the state of diversity and inclusion (D&I) practices at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH), a leading multispecialty healthcare institution in Tamil Nadu. As healthcare environments become more diverse, fostering an inclusive culture is essential to ensure that all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered. The study aimed to analyze employees' demographic profiles and perceptions of D&I, assess the impact of D&I practices on job satisfaction and motivation, and identify the challenges faced in a diverse workplace. Data was collected from 200 respondents across various departments, including clinical, administrative, and support staff. The findings revealed that while 70% of the respondents viewed the hospital culture as generally inclusive, 30% reported experiences of microaggressions, exclusion, or unconscious bias--especially among women and individuals from marginalized communities. Although KMCH demonstrates diversity in its workforce, only 21% of respondents believed that leadership positions adequately reflect this diversity. A significant 68% of participants reported not having received any formal D&I training, yet 74% expressed strong interest in attending such sessions. Based on these results, the study suggests implementing mandatory diversity training, creating mentorship programs for underrepresented staff, establishing a D&I task force, and improving transparency in recruitment and promotion processes. In conclusion, while KMCH has made progress in workforce diversity, more focused efforts are needed to translate this diversity into meaningful inclusion. By adopting a strategic approach centered around leadership commitment, policy development, employee engagement, and continuous evaluation, KMCH can build a more equitable workplace and set a benchmark for inclusive HR practices in the Indian healthcare sector.

: Because a variety of factors influence a used car's value, it can be difficult to predict its exact price. These elements include the vehicle's make, model, year of manufacture, mileage, fuel type, gearbox, and general state. Traditionally, straightforward techniques like linear regression are used to forecast prices. Although these techniques can yield approximations, they frequently fall short in comprehending the intricate connections among various automobile attributes. Because of this, the anticipated price might not always coincide with the actual market value. In this study, we apply a Deep Neural Network (DNN) technique to increase the accuracy of used automobile price forecast.tOne kind of artificial intelligence that functions similarly to a DNN is typically missed. Using a sizable dataset of used automobile information, we trained the DNN, and over time, the model discovered how various attributes affect the car's ultimate cost. We tested the model and discovered that it outperformed the conventional linear regression approach. It decreased the likelihood of overpricing or underpricing a car and provided more precise forecasts. This improvement in prediction accuracy is very helpful for people looking to buy or sell a car. Buyers can make sure they are not overpaying, and sellers can be confident they are asking for a fair price. This approach can also be used by platforms and car dealers to more precisely establish prices and draw in more clients. By including more real-world data and extra elements like location, insurance history, and service records, this model can be significantly enhanced in the future. Overall, this project shows that deep learning can make a big difference in how we predict prices and make better decisions in the used car market.

Heart failure is a prevalent and life-threatening syndrome characterized by structural and/or functional abnormalities of the heart. As a global burden with high rates of morbidity and mortality, there is growing recognition of the beneficial effects of exercise on physical fitness and cardiovascular health. A substantial body of evidence supports the notion that exercise can play a protective role in the development and progression of heart failure and improve cardiac function through various mechanisms, such as attenuating cardiac fibrosis, reducing inflammation, and regulating mitochondrial metabolism. Further investigation into the role and underlying mechanisms of exercise in heart failure may uncover novel therapeutic targets for the prevention and treatment of heart failure.
