Digital belonging allows individuals to cultivate a sense of membership and belonging within a networked space through continuous exchange and expression of views and ideas. Social media facilitates political participation within this digital network for migrants and shape how they negotiate inclusion and identity in resettlement context. This remains under-explored in the case of the Meetei community in Delhi, a minority group in India. This study examines how digital belonging of the Meetei community in Delhi, shapes their personal experience of inclusion-exclusion. 26 semi-structured interviews were conducted with Meetei migrants in Delhi. Thematic analysis was applied to identify key patterns through open, axial and selective coding. The study draws on spatial-digital belonging, group-differentiated rights and race-informed perspectives to identify patterns of participation, expression and inclusion-exclusion experiences of the Meetei migrant's in online spaces.

Curcumin, the primary active component isolated from the herb turmeric (Curcuma longa), stands out with its possible disease-treating effects on the mental health issues, notably depression. Depression, a mental condition distinguished by the lasting depressed mood, anhedonia, or cognitive dysfunction, has been widely researched in relation to curcumin's drug effects. Curcumin has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotective, and neurotransmitter-modulating properties, which promise it to be a good candidate for mental health together with therapies being used by the doctors. A few trials that were carried out recently to see the medications in action on major depressive disorder patients. A vivid example was a randomized group trial done by Sanmukhani et al. (2014) that proved the use of curcumin (1000 mg/day) was equally the same as fluoxetine (20 mg/day) at reducing the symptoms of depression during six weeks. In a similar vein, Lopresti et al. conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled study in 56 patients with MDD, where twice-daily use of curcumin (500 mg) showed a significant improvement in depressive symptoms compared to the control group. These findings have been backed up by meta-analyses of numerous trials which have demonstrated the complete efficiency of curcumin in a way similar to common antidepressants but with little or none of the adverse effects. The mechanisms through which curcumin is active encompass regulation of monoamine neurotransmitters (serotonin, as well as dopamine, and norepinephrine), boosting the synthesis of plasticity marker BDNF, the reduction of inflammatory substances and ROS production, and also the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. However, despite all these amazing findings, some problems such as low bioavailability have led to the development of more advanced methods (e.g., nanoparticles, piperine co-administration) to increase absorption and therapeutic efficacy. In summary, curcumin is expected to be a new way of treating depression in the future, however, a more comprehensive study with larger sections in the future is needed to clinch its clinical utility.

In today's fast-paced consumer landscape, the interplay between product perishability and innovation-led demand presents a critical challenge for inventory managers. Traditional Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) models often fail to capture the nuances of real-world demand that evolves due to marketing efforts and innovation diffusion, particularly for perishable products whose utility degrades over time. This study develops a hybrid inventory model that integrates the Bass diffusion framework with time-sensitive deterioration functions to formulate a more accurate and dynamic ordering policy for perishable items. The proposed model assumes that demand is generated through innovation and imitation mechanisms, while product utility declines either linearly or exponentially with time. The resulting demand function is coupled with deterioration-driven inventory depletion to determine the optimal replenishment cycle, order quantity, and total cost. Both deterministic and probabilistic extensions of the model are analyzed, and sensitivity tests are conducted across key parameters such as the coefficient of innovation, deterioration rate, and market size. A comparative analysis with classical EOQ illustrates the advantages of incorporating diffusion-led demand in perishable product contexts. Numerical simulations show that innovation-adjusted EOQ models significantly reduce inventory holding costs, minimize waste, and improve service levels. The paper concludes with managerial insights for industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and high-tech retail, where product freshness and consumer adoption patterns must be jointly considered in inventory planning.

This study investigates the critical role of traffic management in ensuring the effective supply of dairy products in Bengaluru, a city grappling with high urban congestion and infrastructure strain. Dairy products, being perishable and temperature-sensitive, require efficient and timely delivery to maintain quality and reduce spoilage. The research highlights how traffic congestion, especially during peak hours and hotter months, severely disrupts supply chains, leading to increased delivery lead times, product spoilage, customer complaints, and inventory wastage due to overstocking. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, primary data was collected through structured questionnaires from 50 dairy retail vendors across Bengaluru. Statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and chi-square tests were employed to assess relationships between key variables including traffic severity, lead times, spoilage, and customer dissatisfaction. Results revealed strong positive correlations between traffic congestion and delivery inefficiencies, spoilage, and complaints, confirming that ineffective traffic management significantly hampers dairy supply performance. The study concludes that dynamic, traffic-responsive logistics strategies, better urban planning, and adaptive inventory management are essential to improving the resilience of dairy supply chains in rapidly urbanizing cities like Bengaluru.

The induction motor is used in many industries where the initial torque is to be high and it doesn't need the external starting. In the last few decades induction motor speed control based researches are done based on reducing the harmonics based on the switching pattern changes. Here this project proposes a direct torque control (DTC) based induction motor drive which gives reduced harmonics and switching losses. Here a new pulses pattern called bus clamping technique is used. The same is analyzed by doing the simulation in the MATLAB software. A less rated prototype also will be build with open loop.

This paper has explored the critical role of natural justice in balancing the principles of confidentiality and transparency within family courts. Natural justice, primarily through the right to a fair hearing and the rule against bias, serves as a guiding force to ensure that family court proceedings are fair, impartial, and equitable. The need for confidentiality is paramount in protecting the privacy and emotional well-being of individuals involved in sensitive family matters, especially in cases of child custody, divorce, and domestic violence. However, transparency also plays a vital role in promoting public confidence, ensuring accountability, and fostering trust in the judicial system. The balance between these two imperatives is complex and requires careful judicial discretion and ethical considerations by legal practitioners. Judicial discretion allows for a case-by-case evaluation of when confidentiality should take precedence over transparency and vice versa, ensuring that both the dignity of individuals and the public's right to know are respected.
