Cybercriminals fabricate unauthorized copies of genuine websites and email accounts to obtain sensitive data. These emails frequently include real company logos and slogans. When users click on links supplied by these hackers, they inadvertently provide access to their confidential information, such as bank account details, personal login credentials, and photos. Even though Decision Trees and Random Forest algorithms are commonly utilized in current systems, their accuracy requires enhancement. The existing models also suffer from increased latency. Present systems do not have a dedicated user interface, and there is no comparison of different algorithms. When consumers open the emails or links provided, they are deceived into visiting a fraudulent site that imitates the legitimate company. The models are used to identify phishing websites based on URL centrality features and to determine and implement the best machine learning model. The Random Forest method will be employed to compare accuracy and results.

In emergency situations, particularly involving elderly individuals, the inability to respond to urgent calls due to a phone being on silent mode can lead to delayed assistance and life-threatening consequences. This paper presents a novel Android-based system that overrides the silent mode of a smartphone when multiple calls are received within a short time frame, based on a configurable priority system. Contacts are categorized into four levels--High, Medium, Low, and Non-Priority--each triggering an alarm after a specific number of missed calls (ranging from 2 to 5). Upon detection, the system exits silent mode and activates a high-volume alarm to alert the user. In addition, the system incorporates a wearable heart rate monitor to detect abnormal heart conditions in elderly users. When a critical health event is detected, the system automatically displays a preconfigured emergency phone number and a message on the screen, allowing the user to quickly initiate a call or send an SMS with a single tap. This reduces the need for manual intervention during critical moments. The integration of mobile communication logic with real-time health monitoring creates a reliable and user-friendly emergency support tool, enhancing safety and response time in high-risk health scenarios.

Social security is a key element in ensuring the well-being of all citizens, offering protection against income loss and access to healthcare, especially for the elderly and economically vulnerable. It includes both social assistance and social insurance, aimed at reducing poverty and providing support during times of need. The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), launched in 2007, significantly expanded support for elderly individuals living below the poverty line by increasing pension amounts and widening eligibility. Replacing the earlier National Old Age Pension Scheme (NOAPS), IGNOAPS reflects the government's commitment to inclusive welfare. Proposals to further expand the scheme to include individuals above 60 years of age, widows, and the disabled highlight the on-going efforts to strengthen the social safety net and promote financial security and dignity for marginalized groups.

This study looks into how faculty members at Coimbatore City's arts and science colleges invest in mutual funds. The purpose of the study is to evaluate risk tolerance, investment behavior, awareness, and the impact of demographic variables including age, gender, income, and education on investment choices. Using standardized questionnaires, 110 faculty members took part in the study. The study takes an analytical stance, interpreting data with the use of ANOVA, Descriptive Statistics, Chi-Square tests, and Percentage Analysis. The result shoe that young, highly educated professionals have a strong interest in investing, that they favor low to moderate risk assets, and that professional advice, tax advantages, and financial dependents all play a big part in influencing investment decisions. In order to assist educators in making well-informed financial decisions, the study's conclusion suggests the necessity of financial literacy initiatives and tailored investment plans.

The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act of 2005 brought plea bargaining into Indian law to reduce the caseload in courts and help people accused of crimes be freed faster. How plea bargaining cases move forward is described here using the history, rules and procedures laid out in the Code of Criminal Procedure. It points out that plea bargaining leads to faster trials, helps victims and allows offenders to go to rehabilitation. It also factors in the problems that get in the way, for example, when someone is forced to agree, when negotiations aren't equal and when language is used in unimaginative ways. The current state in India is explained with examples from the United States. Suggestions are given to help make plea bargaining more fair by making everyone aware of their rights, following with court oversight and including the wishes of victims. It discusses and compares these views to check if plea bargaining supports justice in India.

Banking mergers have become a strategic tool in India's financial sector reforms, particularly among public sector banks (PSBs). While mergers aim to enhance financial stability, improve efficiency, and reduce non-performing assets, they also present significant legal and compliance challenges. This paper critically evaluates the regulatory and legal complexities associated with Indian banking mergers, focusing on key statutes such as the Banking Regulation Act, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and the Competition Act. It explores the roles of regulatory bodies including the RBI, SEBI, CCI, and NCLT, and analyses compliance challenges related to employee integration, taxation, disclosure, IT systems, and stakeholder litigation. Through detailed case studies of the SBI, Bank of Baroda, and Punjab National Bank mergers, the study highlights recurring obstacles and systemic gaps. The findings underscore the need for a unified regulatory framework, stronger inter-agency coordination, and robust legal due diligence. The paper concludes with practical recommendations to streamline compliance, enhance transparency, and safeguard stakeholder interests, contributing valuable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and legal practitioners navigating future banking consolidations in India.

Technological developments have made many changes in the communication sector. The advent of internet led to the development of virtual communication. Nowadays, social media became an integral part of people's life. Social media is one of the most popular means of computer mediated communication and it plays a crucial role in the decision-making process of people with regard to an issue. Nearly half of the population in India is using social media. The Covid 19 pandemic made social media and other online platforms more popular among general public. They express their views and opinions in social media under the Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression guaranteed by Article 19(1)(a) of Indian Constitution. However, it has also been increasingly used for illegal acts. Two recent incidents are cited in the introduction for better understanding of this issue. Cyber laws existing in India is neither appropriate nor adequate to address this issue. Therefore, it is the need of the hour to frame appropriate social media regulations. The regulations imposed should be in such a manner that it does not hinder the citizen's Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression. This article highlights the importance of striking a balance between these two. It discusses in detail the definition and types of social media, right to access to social media and the restrictions imposed on this right by the Constitution. It also analyses in detail the Information Technology Act of 2000 and the controversial Section 66A of the same. This article throws light into the current status of social media in today's society by tagging the recent incidents. This article ends with a handful of creative suggestions to address this burning issue. All the references in support of the theme are enclosed at the end.
