A new technology that has the potential to improve the security and accuracy of voting is the biometric fingerprint voting system. The state-of-the-art in biometric fingerprint voting systems is thoroughly reviewed in this study. The article begins by giving a general review of the idea of biometric authentication and its several varieties. After that, it talks about the drawbacks of the current voting methods and how biometric voting systems can fix them. The article goes into additional detail about the different hardware and software elements of a biometric fingerprint voting system, as well as the various methods for fingerprint matching. The report also examines the difficulties of deploying biometric fingerprint voting systems, including cost-effectiveness, scalability, and privacy issues. The study thoroughly examines the benefits and drawbacks of biometric fingerprint voting systems vs conventional voting methods. The benefits include increased security, accuracy, and efficiency, while the drawbacks include implementation costs, technological challenges, and potential privacy issues. The study continues with a discussion of potential prospects for biometric fingerprint voting system research, including enhancing the precision of fingerprint-matching algorithms, resolving privacy issues, and creating more scalable and affordable systems.

'Labor refers to chain of physiological events that allows a fetus to undertake its journey from the uterus to the outside world'. The second stage is the period of fetal expulsion. It begins with complete dilation of cervix through complete birth of the baby. The birth position (or maternal position) refers to the position that an expectant mother can adopt during labor. Maternal position and mobility play an important role in the mechanics of labor as they relate to factors such as pelvic type, lethal position and posture, uterine contractions, gravity, female preference, and emotion. Upright position is the beneficial for both mother and the infant for several Physiological reason. The majority of women are not aware about the different birthing positions so the main function of the midwives is to educate the women regarding maternal birthing positions. The objectives of this study are to find out the knowledge among midwives on maternal birthing positions, to find out attitude among midwives on maternal birthing positions & to determine the effect of structured teaching program on maternal birthing positions. The study conclude that maternal birthing positions is a suitable non pharmacological technique that is easy to perform and effective in progress of labor, avoid caesarean birth, reduce perineal tear, reduce rate of fetal distress and improve fetal and maternal outcome. It can be used to in first and second stage of labor.

Both the mother and the father must be entitled to paternity and maternity leaves, respectively, without facing any financial hardship or concern about losing their jobs because child care is a joint obligation of both parents. This would help to promote the physical and emotional well-being of both the parents and the child and to promote gender-equality in workplace. Data from 100 Employees has been gathered. The key area that has been taken into account in this research paper is Benefits of Paternity leave for private employees, Paternity leave in other countries, Public Opinion and support for Paternity leave. And my survey revealed that Few people are aware of Paternity leave, and want to make the paternity leave as the mandatory one, People think that it is important for fathers to stay with the baby and mother at the early stage.

A battery management system (BMS) is a crucial component in battery-powered systems that ensures safe and efficient operation of the battery pack. The primary function of a BMS is to monitor and control the charging and discharging of the battery cells to maintain their optimal performance and prevent damage to the battery. The BMS also provides real-time information on the state of the battery pack, such as its voltage, current, and temperature, to prevent overcharging, over-discharging, or overheating of the battery. With the increasing use of batteries in various applications, including electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, the importance of a reliable and efficient BMS cannot be overstated.

Long before he or a loving guy could claim his body, Baldwin was taught to feel suspicious and bereaved about it. He was born in Harlem in 1924, the first son of a domestic worker named Emma Berdis Jones. Berdis married David Baldwin, a Harlem-based pastor, in 1927. Berdis had moved up to New York from Maryland, and David had come from New Orleans as part of the Great Migration. They eventually had eight more children together. Baldwin, as the eldest, was responsible for his younger siblings; he was also detested by his adopted father, who never missed a chance to label him ugly. As a result, Baldwin became a boy preacher in pursuit of affirmation -- and to outdo his father at his own game -- and quit the church at the age of 16. It never left him, though. When David Baldwin died, he was a few days shy of 19 and living away from home, still "locked up in his terrors," as Baldwin wrote in "Notes of a Native Son," his 1955 essay. "Go Tell It on the Mountain" was a remembrance of Baldwin's mother's love, his father's bitterness, and the world that formed him, the bastard child eternally seeking legitimacy while clashing with and attempting to destroy the established quo. Postcolonial thought takes numerous forms and interventions, but all of them share a fundamental claim: the society we live in cannot be understood apart from its history of imperialism and colonial control. James Baldwin's novel Giovanni's Room was published in 1956.The novel focuses on the happenings in the life of an American guy living in Paris, as well as his feelings and disappointments with his connections with other men, particularly an Italian bartender named Giovanni whom he meets at a gay bar in Paris. Giovanni's Room is notable for presenting complicated images of homosexuality and bisexuality to a reading public with empathy and artistry, encouraging a greater public dialogue about same-sex desire issues.

The amount of electricity consumption is rising day by day and simultaneously the amount of electricity wasted is also rising. This paper aims to introduce a smart energy meter for microgrid with hybrid sources, which mainly tries to solve following main issues - To automatically switch between the source To remotely monitor energy usage anytime anywhere To prepay the energy bill and predict the energy usage To trip down when fault is detected To automatically switch between priority based loads In this system a prepaid energy meter is installed in the house, which enables the system to communicate with the user. The user can monitor their real time energy usage through a web interface. The data like power consumption, available balance, individual current usage and status of depended source are uploaded to the web. So the users can monitor and reduce their consumption and also the errors while acquiring the meter reading is also solved

Women safety is an essential issue due to the rising crimes against women these days. To help resolve this issue we propose a GPS based women safety system that has dual security features. This device can not just be used by women when in distress but also by children when their travel modes are sans elders. For elderly people with issues like Alzheimer's this device can turn out to be very useful for them as well as their families. This device sends the current location of the woman/child/elderly to the family members and concerned authorities in case of any harassment faced or if in any sort of trouble. The device also has a panic button which is an in-built 400kV electric shock generator, which upon pressing will knock the assaulter down due to a sudden shock but without any fatality. The device is made using an AVR microcontroller, a GPS module, a GSM module and a high voltage generator.

ABSTRACT "The role of the judiciary in interpreting the existing laws according to the needs of the times and filling the gaps appears to be the true meaning of judicial activism" - Justice J.S. Verma The above quote indicates that judicial activism is the process that has to be a continuous never-ending process which necessarily has to be practised in the broadest interest of the citizens. This research paper explores the idea of judicial activism and its function in India's judicial system and justice administration in the country. The Indian Supreme Court's ruling on. The Supreme Court of India from being a court of positivist ideology has evolved and transformed into an activist court over the last seventy-four years of its establishment. The pertinent point here is to note that the apex court has not suddenly started operating and acting as an activist court, but it took a long journey for the apex court to gain its current position, it cannot be denied that in the journey of it being an activist court, the supreme court of India has to go through several stress and strain. The walk from a positivist court to an activist one was slow and undetectable, the political changes in the Indian democracy have worked in synchronisation with the transformative role of the court. Judicial activism is not an exception but a common phenomenon and judicial activism is the ultimate by-product of judicial review, the functioning of judicial activism shall always be within the limits of democracy. These limits are drawn by the institutional feasibility, the illegality of the intervention by the judicial and the limitations of the court's resources. Through the concept of judicial activism, the court transforms the power relations between the different organs of the government, through judicial activism the constitutional court becomes a significant democratic centre of power.
