This review explores the self-curing properties of concrete when coir pith residue is incorporated as a fine aggregate at varying proportions of 1%, 3%, and 5%. Self-curing concrete aims to retain water within the mixture, enhancing hydration and reducing the need for external curing methods. Coir pith residue, a byproduct of the coconut industry, offers a sustainable alternative to conventional fine aggregates, potentially improving the environmental footprint of concrete production. This paper synthesizes findings from various experimental studies, examining key parameters such as compressive strength, flexural strength, and workability. The results indicate that coir pith residue can enhance the self-curing capacity of concrete, with optimal performance observed at specific inclusion rates. The implications for construction practices and material sustainability are also discussed, highlighting the potential benefits and limitations of using coir pith residue in self-curing concrete applications.

The primary objective of the MGNREGS is to provide employment for the unemployed and impoverished members of society in order to reduce poverty and promote rural development. To ascertain the effect of MGNREGS on rural development, the opinions of respondents residing in rural areas have been gathered. Therefore, the data showed that this scheme's effects on social protection, livelihood stability, and democratic empowerment make it a potent tool for inclusive growth in rural areas. Through the development of long-lasting assets, enhanced water security, soil conservation, and increased land productivity, MGNREGS offer livelihood security to the impoverished. This programme has raised household income due to increased agricultural production, which has raised living standards for households. It has also resulted in significant salary increases for workers in rural areas.

The global expansion of Chinese ethnicity and culture has occurred over centuries due to various factors comprising economic opportunities, political instability, and socio-economic interchange. The Chinese Diaspora in northeast India has a unique history that has diversely impacted the eco-cultural identity of the region. The presence of people bearing Chinese descent in the northeast can be traced back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries when Chinese traders, labourers, and entrepreneurs began to settle in the region, particularly in Assam. Though this diasporic community is relatively small in comparison to the larger north-eastern population, its history and contributions are noteworthy. In collaboration with the Chinese migrants, the tea tribe community in the northeast, primarily comprising Adivasi and indigenous communities, has made significant contributions to the socio-cultural development of the region. The migrant Chinese community in the tea industry, preservation of traditional knowledge, promotion of culture, and engagement of social initiatives have enriched the cultural fabric of the region and have improved the overall quality of life for their gradual up-gradation. In the writings of many writers from the northeast, the depiction of Chinese diasporic impact is extraordinary. Along with the male writers, the women writers have also contributed immensely to the literary landscape by addressing various socio-cultural issues as presented in their writings. They have depicted gradual shifts in society by highlighting the uniqueness of each community and advocating for a sense of unity amidst socio-cultural diversities. They have used literature as a tool to explore different aspects of the society as a whole. Among significant women voices from the northeast, Rita Chowdhury's name can be referred to highlight various aspects of literature and the socio-cultural exchanges through the diasporic transmission of people from China specifically. The present research will focus on her novel Chinatown Days in terms of understanding the amalgamation of people's identity, culture, and societal norms in the context of the northeast. The novel's narrative will offer insights into the expansion of the Chinese Diaspora and the role of the migrant communities in framing a unique socio-cultural fabric for the upliftment of tea industry in the northeast. The present study will delve deep into the deliberations of the author in understanding the impact of Chinese migrants on the formulation of a greater tea tribe community in the northeast, especially in Assam.

: Gas leaks pose significant risks in industrial, residential, and natural gas pipeline sectors, leading to injuries, property damage, and even loss of life. Addressing these challenges requires robust monitoring systems that can detect and respond to gas leaks in a timely and effective manner. This research paper presents the development of a gas monitoring and detection system that integrates an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with an array of MQ series gas sensors. The proposed system leverages the accessibility and continuous monitoring capabilities of a drone platform to address the limitations of fixed instrumentation. The integration of the gas sensing system with the UAV allows for autonomous, wide-area surveillance of volatile gases, minimizing the risks to human personnel. The system utilizes an Arduino Nano microcontroller, MQ series gas sensors, and an NRF24L01 transceiver module to acquire and transmit real-time gas concentration data to a ground station.

Changes in climatic conditions can impact urban drainage systems, which are designed to handle weather and pollution from metropolitan areas. In urban environments, efficient drainage is critical. The incorporation of turbine-powered energy generation into a drainage obstruction indicator system for metropolitan areas represents a unique solution that combines infrastructure monitoring with renewable energy production, hence increasing infrastructure resilience. This system uses sensors and real-time monitoring to quickly detect and fix drainage bottlenecks, reducing the impact of severe rainfall and improving city operations. The drainage obstruction indicator system sends timely alerts to local authorities, allowing for preventative measures. This not only avoids flooding, but also decreases the possibility of harm to roads and infrastructure. The use of data analytics improves maintenance plans, making the city's drainage network more responsive and adaptable to changing conditions. Overall, this novel method improves sustainability and resilience in the management of urban water infrastructure. Early detection, real-time monitoring, data collection, warning systems, predictive analysis, maintenance planning, environmental advantages, and public safety. Furthermore, the system's historical data analysis aids long-term infrastructure planning, resulting in the construction of more robust and sustainable urban drainage solutions.

Abstract - In this paper, we propose a feature-free method to detect phishing websites using Normalized Compressed Distance (NCD), a parameter-free similarity measure that calculates the similarity between two websites with compression power, eliminating the need to perform some features. extraction. It also eliminates dependency on the features of a particular website. This method examines the HTML of web pages and calculates their similarity to known phishing websites to identify them. We perform phishing archetype extraction by using the cutting-edge algorithm to select samples that represent clusters of phishing websites. We also introduce the use of incremental learning algorithms as a framework for continuous updating without extracting new features when concept drift occurs. On large datasets, our proposed method outperforms previous methods in detecting phishing websites with an AUC score of 98.68% and a positive rate (TPR) of approximately 90%, while maintaining a low interest rate of 0.58%. Maintains rate (FPR). Our method uses a standard design, eliminates the need for long-term data storage in the future, and can be used in a real system with a processing time of approximately 0.3 seconds.
