This review critically examines the policies and practices surrounding the award of Honorary Doctorates at. An Honorary Doctorate, or honoris causa, is conferred upon individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society, culture, or a particular field of study. The review explores the university's selection criteria, the nomination process, and the transparency and inclusivity of the policy. It highlights the strengths of the current system, including its recognition of diverse fields of achievement and its commitment to excellence. However, it also identifies areas for improvement, such as enhancing transparency in the nomination process and broadening the range of candidates considered for the award. In conclusion, the review suggests that while the university's Honorary Doctorate policies are largely effective, there is potential for refinement to ensure the process remains fair, inclusive, and reflective of contemporary global issues.

This project develops a machine learning-based system which can easily predict heart disease using algorithms Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression (LC), and Decision Tree (DT) algorithms--to predict heart disease solely on patient data, including medical history. If the patient is diagnosed with heart disease. The system provides personalized diet plans. By leveraging real patient data, this approach enhances accuracy and reliability, aiming to help healthcare professionals in early diagnosis and preventive care.

Kalidasa and Shakespeare both the representative poet/dramatists of the Eastern and Western literary tradition respectively are the great creative genius of their ages . Kalidasa is a great ancient Indian poet and Shakespeare , the great poet / dramatist of Elizabethan England . Their works are the reflection of different images and impressions that they assimilated as a sensible being . The plays of both the dramatists are the store houses of similes . Kalidasa is a poet who is basically known for a skilful use of similes and even known by the Epithet ' Upama Kalidasaya ' . Similes of Shakespeare are also befitting to the context . This paper aims at analysing the similes used by Kalidasa in his play Vikramorvasiyam and Shakespeare in his dramatic romance The Winter's Tale.

India, with a vast 7,500 Km coastline, attracts millions of tourists every year, contributing over $15 billion to the economy. However, this economic prosperity comes with a downside: more than 1,000 drowning incidents annually due to unpredicted oceanic behaviours like rip currents, high waves, and poor water quality. Beach Navicon is a real-time mobile application that leverages data from INCOIS, NOAA, and OpenWeatherMap to deliver beach-specific safety and recreational suitability information. The application features multilingual support, offline functionality, color-coded geospatial mapping, and personalized safety alerts. Developed with a modular, scalable architecture, Beach Navicon has demonstrated a potential to reduce drowning incidents by up to 30%. This paper details the application development process, design methodology, key features, technical challenges, and socio-economic impact.

The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme has played a crucial role in ensuring that young children receive comprehensive care and education at the grassroots level. Anganwadi Centers (AWCs) serve as key centers for the delivery of early childhood care and educational services. The study aimed to investigate the perception of stakeholders about the practices of ECCE and the problems in implementing ECCE in tribal districts of Odisha. Survey Method under Descriptive Research was applied for the study. Thirty Anganwadi Centres was selected as sample for the purposed study. The data were collected through a combination of Interview Schedule and Checklist cum Observation Schedule. The study found that the practices of Early Childhood Care and Education, especially in tribal districts of Odisha still trail. These findings highlight the need for infrastructure improvements and resource allocation to enhance the quality of ECCE services in Anganwadi Centers.

Diabetic wounds present a multifaceted physiological challenge in their management. A range of conventional therapies exists; however, these approaches often carry a heightened risk of amputation, which tends to significant morbidity. The treatment of angiogenesis, neuropathy, and infectious complications remains particularly challenging. Chronic wounds, frequently associated with diabetes or vascular diseases characterized by inadequate blood flow, tend to heal slowly or recur. A notable feature of these chronic wounds is their low oxygen levels within the tissue. The prevalence of chronic wounds adversely impacts the quality of life for those affected. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) represents a sophisticated approach to wound care, utilized for various types of impaired wounds, including those resulting from radiation, burns, traumatic ischemia, and skin grafts. While the underlying mechanisms and effectiveness of HBOT in numerous physiological contexts remain to be fully established, it serves as an adjunctive treatment for wounds that do not heal. This review article elucidates the primary mechanisms by which HBOT facilitates wound healing. Numerous systematic reviews and randomized clinical trials have endorsed the HBOT's applications in the management of diabetic wounds. Presently, there are 14 recognized indications for HBOT, which can be integrated with standard wound healing therapies.

Linear algebra is one of the cornerstones of modern artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). It provides the mathematical framework to understand and manipulate data, as well as to develop and optimize algorithms for complex tasks. This paper delves into the role of linear algebra in AI, highlighting its importance in data representation, transformation, and dimensionality reduction, among other aspects. Key topics include matrix operations, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and singular value decomposition (SVD), all of which are integral to the design and performance of AI algorithms such as neural networks, recommendation systems, and computer vision tasks. We also explore future directions and the ongoing importance of linear algebra in the development of next-generation AI models.

"Doctrine of Blending and the Characterization of Property Under Hindu Law: An Analysis of the Supreme Court's Decision." Abstract In Hindu law, the doctrine of blending refers to an intentional positive act by which the owner of self-acquired property intends that it be treated as joint family property. For such an intention, the owner must abandon all personal claims over such property and make it open to the family members. This doctrine has now found its way through the interpretation given by the Supreme Court in Angadi Chandranna v. Shankar & Ors. (2025 INSC 532) in answering conflicts that arise on the nature of property in a joint Hindu family. The dispute in this case was founded on the argument that the property now in issue had been purchased by the father after partition and hence it was ancestral. They contended that the same had been acquired by use of joint family funds and was therefore subsumed within coparcenary rights. The Supreme Court dismissed these submissions, saying that it was self acquired because no evidence was forthcoming to show a joint family nucleus in regard to the property or the father's intention to blend the property into the pot. The Court further criticized the High Court for going beyond its jurisdiction under Section 100 of the Code of Civil Procedure in reappreciating evidence without a substantial question of law. This paper explores the implications of the Supreme Court judgment concerning the doctrine of blending, standards of evidence for ancestral property, and the limitations of appeal. It finds the Court's focus on intention and evidences in characterizing property providing the contours of a continually evolving Hindu property law and its intersection with the procedural safeguards. Keywords- Joint Hindu family, property, ancestral property, self-acquired property, Hindu Succession.
