Background: Bhagandara (fistula-in-ano) is a chronic and recurring anorectal condition categorized under Ashta Mahagadas in Ayurveda. Despite advancements in modern surgical techniques, high recurrence rates and postoperative complications remain challenges. Ayurvedic parasurgical techniques like Kshara Sutra offer a promising alternative. Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Chincha (Tamarindus indica) Kshara Sutra in managing Bhagandara and compare its outcomes with the standard Apamarga (Achyranthes aspera) Kshara Sutra. Methods: A randomized clinical study was conducted on 40 patients diagnosed with low anal fistula. Patients were divided into two groups: Group A received Chincha Kshara Sutra, while Group B received Apamarga Kshara Sutra. Clinical parameters including pain, discharge, itching, induration, tenderness, Unit Cutting Time (UCT), and Complete Healing Time (CHT) were assessed. Results: Both groups showed significant relief in subjective symptoms, with over 90% improvement in pain, discharge, and itching. Group A (Chincha) had a mean UCT of 9.59 days/cm and CHT of 32.15 days, whereas Group B (Apamarga) had a mean UCT of 7.55 days/cm and CHT of 26.30 days. Statistical analysis confirmed the efficacy of both treatments, though Apamarga showed slightly faster healing. Conclusion: Chincha Kshara Sutra is an effective, safe, and economical alternative to Apamarga Kshara Sutra in treating Bhagandara. Its comparable efficacy supports its use in clinical practice, especially in settings where Apamarga is seasonally unavailable.

Anita Desai's fiction delves deeply into the psychological landscapes of her characters, often foregrounding the tension between the eternal and the ephemeral aspects of love. In Fire on the Mountain, Journey to Ithaca, Voices in the City, and Cry, the Peacock, Desai crafts a spectrum of emotional experiences in which love appears both as a transcendent, spiritual ideal and as a fleeting, often painful human experience. Through the solitude of Nanda Kaul, the spiritual yearning of Laila and Matteo, the existential disillusionment of Monisha and Amla, and the neurotic collapse of Maya, Desai illustrates how characters struggle to reconcile their longing for a timeless, pure connection with the impermanence and disillusionment of worldly attachments. The conflict between eternal love--imagined as divine, selfless, and enduring--and ephemeral love--marked by desire, dependence, and decay--becomes a central theme that shapes identity, sanity, and personal freedom. Through her lyrical prose and internalized narration, Desai explores how this duality of love serves not only as a reflection of individual inner turmoil but also as a broader commentary on the human condition and the search for meaning in modern life.

Abstract Target panic is a psychological and physiological condition that disrupts performance consistency among competitive archers. We explored the sources of target panic among National-level recurve archers in India. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven National-level archers (n=7) to gather in-depth data. Interviews were audio recorded and transcribed to generate 110 pages of double-spaced transcripts. Three independent experts extracted meaningful units from the transcripts. After data triangulation, a dual verification protocol was done until the reliability reached 94.9%. Subsequently, the raw data were grouped into higher-order themes using inductive content analysis until saturation was achieved, resulting in general dimensions. The findings revealed multiple sources of target panic, categorised into seven general dimensions: psychological influences, physiological factors, performance concerns, environmental aspects, athletic pressures, equipment-related issues, and social evaluations. The implications for targeted interventions and future directions are discussed. A model is provided as a guiding framework in the study.

According to Ayurveda, the local treatment procedures of Netra or Eye are explained as Netra-Kriyakalpas. These kriyakalpas help to alleviate the diseases to strengthen the proper functioning of netra. Mode of application of medicine is very specific in case of eye diseases. Based upon that 7 Kriyakalpas have been explained by ancient Acharyas & Putapaka is one among them. Putapaka is a highly modified procedure for ophthalmic medication in which Putapaka Rasa is used in the same mode of application as that of Tarpana. It is indicated specially in kapha predominant conditions but also can be used in vata & pitta predominant conditions. The Aim for the selection of this topic is to share the modified & practical method for preparation of Putapaka Rasa with the scientific community & also dis- cuss about the necessity of doing Putapaka as it is not practicing by Shalakya Professionals regularly because of its time consuming & lengthy procedure which needs efforts to prepare medicine (Putapaka Rasa).

In order to find high-efficiency and low-toxic antimicrobial drugs and a novel transition metal triflate as catalyst activity was utilized for the first time to acquire a synthesis of nine new 3-methyl-1,4,8,9-tetrahydro-5H-pyrazolo(4,3:5,6)pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine-5,7(6H)-diones derivatives via a one-pot five-component reaction of substituted aromatic and hetero aromatic aldehydes, barbituric acid, ethyl acetoacetate, hydrazine hydrate and ammonium acetate in aqueous alcoholic medium under catalytic condition . The obtained derivatives were confirmed by measure of advanced spectroscopic data viz; 1HNMR, 13CNMR and LCMS. The derivatives were also studied by antimicrobial activity against bacterial as well as fungal strains and also estimated the measure inhibition zone. The methodology is expeditious and furnishes varied advantages like shorter reaction time, energy efficiency, eco-sustainability and work under mild condition

Marmas are specific points on the body where energy blockages can be felt. These points serve as connection between physiology and conciousness, and their stimulation can influence the body's biochemistry, facilitating profound and transformative changes in one's overall being. By Activating these pathways, facilitating profound and transformative changes in one's overall being. By activating these pathways, the body is prompted to produce essential hormones and neurochemicals, supporting the healing of the body, mind, and awareness. Marma points are distinct locations associated with various internal organs, Doshas, and Strotas through specific channels. They are stimulated during Abhyanga, a type of massage that incorporates medicinal and aromatic oils to activate the internal organs. Discussion of Marma points in found in most of the great texts of Ayurveda but the most famous text to explore the subject is the Sushruta Samhita. Vaidya Sushruta described 'the locations of the Marma points, as well as how they influence prana. He stated that it is important for the surgeon to have knowledge of these points for the purpose of avoiding them, so as to cut into them could result in a catastrophic outcome. This article summarizes various perspectives of Marma and their clinical importance as per Ayurveda.

The preeminence of education as an instrument of modernization is widely assumed in the contemporary literature on the so-calledtraditional societies or developing nations. Thus, we are advised that,, "the progress of modernization will......be directlyrelated tothepace of educational advance and the one sure way to modernize quickly is to spread education, to produce educated and skilled citizens and train an adequate and competent intelligentsia." The Indian Central Government finds it very difficult to formulate, co-ordinate, or implement national educational policy. Among the principal reasons for this difficulty are a federal structure that places authority foreducational matters in the hands of the states, and marked differentials among the states with respect to the nature and level of their educational development. India are facing a mounting demand for more and better education. Adequate financing is required to produce greater quality and equality within the educational system.s
