Mosquitoes can transmit various diseases including malaria, filariasis, yellow fever, and dengue. However, resistance to synthetic chemicals has been increasing, so scientists are exploring the use of plant extracts as alternative sources for mosquito control agents. In this study, four different plant extracts - Calotropis, Lemongrass, Mint, and Marigold - were tested as potential larvicides against Culex pipiens. These plant extracts were applied to 4th instar mosquito larvae at different concentrations of 3ml, 6ml, and 9ml, with a control group as well, and the mortality rate was recorded after 24, 48, and 72 hours. The effectiveness of the plant extracts was determined by calculating the percentage of mortality. Calotropis resulted in 100% mortality, while mint resulted in 98% mortality after 72 hours of application.

This paper delves into the intersection of gender, literature, and societal norms in New England Puritanism. Despite the patriarchal structure and restrictive social norms of her time, Anne Bradstreet emerged as a pioneering female poet. The Puritan authorities promoted a life of purity and devotion, discouraging imagination and emotion, and viewed personal autonomy, especially among women, with suspicion. Bradstreet's achievements are particularly remarkable given the era's disdain for women's intellectual capabilities and their restricted access to education. This exploration highlights Bradstreet's struggle against cultural biases that relegated women to domestic roles and denied them intellectual freedom. Her works faced criticism and accusations of plagiarism, reflecting the broader societal condemnation of female writers. Through her perseverance, Bradstreet not only carved out a space for her voice but also challenged the prevailing notions of women's intellectual inferiority. This sociological analysis underscores Bradstreet's contributions to literature and her defiance of the gender norms that sought to silence her.

The idea of borders and their unsaid counterparts, home and identity, have a fundamental position in diasporic discourse and act as a thread that unites it. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni explores this issue in her book "Before We Visit The Goddess" This research would be active in order to challenge and transcend these boundaries and also analyses the impact that it possess on search for identity. The novel-in-stories to look for a home that, while it may not be permanent in its physical form, is one that aims to anchor the intellect and free the person from the constraints it paradoxically become personal restrictions after previously just existing as societal ones.

An android application has been designed in order to easily see the patient's information by their doctors and family members. The objective of this proposed approach is to design an automated wireless health monitoring system. The aim is to monitor the patient's body temperature which should be displayed to the doctor using RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) technology. In hospitals, the health of patients is monitored by hospital staff members and patient relatives. The patient's body temperature are continuously checked and recorded on smart mobile phone.

The term herbal medicine describes the application of fruit extract to medical conditions, and most herbal syrup's original source was plants. Included as well are syrups created with dosages of natural medications. Syrup is now used to treat a wide range of ailments and lessen the symptoms of illnesses. Antioxidant syrup is used to treat cancer and related disorders because the body produces free radicals as a result of numerous oxidative reactions and stress-related conditions. To prevent the formation of bacteria, tulsi leaf extract is added, and alcohol and honey are utilized as preservatives. To flavor the syrup, orange peel is mixed with turmeric extract and betal leaf. PH, viscosity, and density were among the factors that were assessed at the laboratory scale during formulation. During examination, it was discovered that the formulation was stable and suitable for use.It was found that compared to other formulations, the herbal formulation produced more antioxidant activity. People used a variety of plants, roots, and leaves to treat a wide range of illnesses back in antiquity. An Ayurvedic remedy called herbal cough syrup helps treat a variety of chronic conditions in people, including colds, fevers, respiratory infections, and coughs. It is a safe, easily accessible herb combination that may be created at home at a minimal cost of production.Herbal syrup contains natural herbs with a variety of actions and effects to reduce colds and coughs, both acute and chronic. These herbs also work as cough suppressants with expectorant and antitussive characteristics. Examples of these herbs are tulsi, turmeric, honey, orange peels, and betel leaves. Based on my research, I have concluded that the safest herbal remedy for treating colds and coughs is herbal cough syrup.

Background: Vaginitis or vulvovagintis is an inflammation of vagina. It is the most common gynecologic problem which is characterized by- vaginal discharge, vulvar itching or irritation, infection, lack of estrogen and external irritant. Vaginitis can be prevented by maintaining various ways of hygienic measures. Aim: the aim of the study is to assess the effectiveness of Structured teaching programme on the knowledge regarding Vaginitis And Its Prevention Among Girls Residing In Samaya Girls Hostel, The Assam Royal Global University. It also aims to find out the association between knowledge score and some selected demographic data. Methods: An evaluative research approach was adopted in which a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test with 150 samples by using convenient sampling technique . The knowledge of the students were assessed by using a self-administered structured questionnaire. Results: The study results revealed that majority of the students that is (51.33%)students fall under the age group 20-22 years, (33.33%) students studies in Science stream, (30.67%) students are in 4th semester, (98.67%) students has no family history of Vaginitis and (55.33%) students have knowledge on Vaginitis. Study findings also revealed that mean post-test knowledge score (11.81) was significantly higher than the mean pre-test knowledge score(8.92) as evidenced by t= -14.85 and table value of t149= 1.96 (p<0.00001), which showed that there was effectiveness of structured teaching programme regarding Vaginitis and its prevention. It also revealed that there was no significant association between pre-test knowledge score with selected demographic variables. Conclusion: On the basis of the findings, the researcher concluded that there was an effectiveness of structured teaching programme regarding Vaginitis and its prevention among girls residing in Samaya Girls hostel of The Assam Royal Global University.
