An essential element of India's socioeconomic development is women's education. Due to institutional flaws, sociocultural limitations, and economic constraints, women have historically had fewer opportunities for education. Particularly in rural and deprived populations, caste-based discrimination, early marriage, and traditional gender roles continue to limit girls' access to their educational institutions. Educational disparities become harsher by economic obstacles such as poverty and the invisible costs of education. High dropout rates among girls are caused by societal issues such as poor infrastructure, substandard education, and safety concerns. Furthermore, even if programs like the Right to Education Act (2009) and others seek to increase access and quality, their effectiveness is frequently weakened by inconsistent enforcement and implementation flaws. This paper aims to establish the relationship between women's education in India and its impact on socio-economic development. Economic growth and social justice are two aspects of socio-economic development, which is a broad concept that implies an improvement in the social potential, quality, and standard of individuals and the communities in which they live. Several studies reveal that that higher the education of women, greater is their participation in decision making and they acquire progressive opinion on different issues. The social influence of women's education is substantial. Moreover, the women go beyond social responsibility and can have a positive impact on the economy. Thus, a nation's high levels of development, including its economic growth, are correlated with an increase in the number of educated women living there. Women's education also leads to women's empowerment.

Health literacy is critical to effective healthcare delivery, particularly in marginalized communities. Accredited social health activists (ASHAs) and Anganwadi workers (AWWs) are frontline community health workers (CHWs) in India and play a significant role in promoting health literacy among marginalized communities. This study aimed to assess the health literacy of AWWs and ASHAs, explore opportunities for enhancing their health literacy, and identify challenges in promoting health literacy among the communities they serve. A literature review explored the understanding, challenges, and opportunities for health literacy among CHWs. CHWs are central to addressing this gap but face significant challenges, including inadequate funding, human resource systems that devalue practical experience, and systemic obstacles. Despite these challenges, the paper identifies key opportunities to enhance CHW effectiveness and, consequently, public health literacy. These include creating standardized, accessible health education modules; leveraging digital tools for ongoing learning; strengthening CHW integration with primary healthcare; implementing health literacy assessments in training; and fostering community engagement for tailored health messaging. Addressing the identified challenges and leveraging opportunities can enhance the effectiveness of CHWs in promoting health literacy, ultimately bridging the gap between healthcare systems and marginalized communities.

In order to conserve natural resources and economize energy, weight reduction has been the main focus of machine parts manufacturers in the present scenario. Weight reduction can be achieved primarily by the introduction of better material, design optimization and better manufacturing processes. The egg shell powder composite is one of the potential items for weight reduction of about 20% - 30%. The introduction of egg shell powder composite materials was made it possible to reduce the weight without any reduction on load carrying capacity, more elastic strain energy storage capacity and high strength to weight ratio as compared with those of steel. The use of organic waste in concrete is increasingly becoming implemented in design codes. Fibres are known to have an influence on the cracking process and thereby on the material toughness. However when fibres are used in beams, which include a relatively small amount of conventional flexural reinforcement, their effect can be localized in a limited part of the concrete. Such localization may lead to a reduction of ductility rather than to its increase, as observed in a study of high strength concrete beams, with and without fibres. This project presents structural tests with normal strength fibre reinforced concrete with reinforcement ratios that varied between 0 to 30%. The results will show the effects of compression strength of the cube.

This paper describes an intelligent, automated system for the early diagnosis of nail diseases using deep learning techniques. Nail diseases may represent other health conditions, such as fungal infections, skin diseases, and systemic diseases. Existing methods for diagnosing nail diseases still rely on visual, manual inspections or thin nail clippings, which are relative, subjective assessments, manual, and difficult to scale. The proposed system utilizes deep learning, specifically convolutional neural networks, and custom implementation of the well-known VGG16 and GoogLeNet architectures, to classify nail images into eight different diseases. Feature-level and decision level fusion provided a vehicle to improve prediction accuracy by taking advantage of the strengths of each architecture. We trained the mode on a custom dataset of annotated nail images, performing appropriate preprocessing and augmentation, and produced a user-friendly, real-time disease prediction system, using Streamlit, through the provision of a frontend user interface, simply requiring users to upload their nail images . Evaluation metrics such as overall accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score indicate that the proposed fusion-based architecture performs better than either individual model. Overall, the system provides a good alternative to existing invasive methods for diagnosing nail diseases, especially for healthcare access with certain health challenges such as being in remote locations. The system represents an alternative early diagnosis model, which is automated, non-invasive, and scalable.
