Abstract: Trees are the most beautiful, sublime and incredible specimen of nature. But today we are cutting and uprooting them for our benefits and robbing nature of its pristine beauty creating a deep chasm between human-nature relationship. Ruskin Bond the doyen of children's literature in India admires and worships nature. He explores its myriad forms and paints them beautifully on the canvas of his short stories. This paper proposes to study and examine some of the tree tales penned by Bond through an ecocritical perspective and to determine that how skillfully his nature writings render into eco-writings bestowing a dose of eco-optimism to the children.

As the public aesthetic continues to improve and people's self-awareness about clothing grows, unique and diversified clothing is progressively becoming the norm in the market. Enterprises need to reduce the garment design and manufacturing cycle, maximize the design goal value, optimize design resources, and increase the rate at which they utilize innovative aspects of clothing in order to get greater living space. The modular design of clothing creates directed design standards for the design of different clothing components by streamlining the design process, which significantly increases the flexibility and productivity of clothing production. The current inventive development of the garment market is significantly influenced by the modular mode, spanning from design approach to application procedure. As a result, this study investigates the viability of modular garment design in the marketplace, as well as its potential for growth and future directions for this emerging trend in clothing design.

This project develops a web-based virtual assistant named JARVIS, inspired by the Iron Man series, utilizing Speech Recognition and Speech Synthesis APIs. JARVIS greets users dynamically based on the time of day and responds to voice commands for tasks like opening websites (Google, YouTube, Facebook), conducting web searches, and fetching information from Wikipedia. The system employs event-driven programming to capture and interpret user commands in real-time, triggering actions through conditional statements. It integrates speech synthesis to provide audible responses, enhancing user interaction. Key functionalities include retrieving real-time data such as current time and date, demonstrating practical utility alongside informational queries. The project aims to explore the application of web APIs for voice interaction and showcases potential advancements in natural language processing and AI-driven virtual assistants. By exemplifying these capabilities, it provides insights into the development and implementation of virtual assistant technology in web environments, highlighting its usability and potential for future innovation.

This study delves into the cultural metamorphosis of Tangkhul hairstyles, a phenomenon deeply intertwined with the advent of Christianity in the Tangkhul Hills. Utilizing primary and secondary data sources, the paper investigates the evolution of these hairstyles as a reflection of the community's adaptation to new religious and social paradigms. The research highlights the significance of hairstyles in conveying societal roles, personal identity, and the community's response to the introduction of Christianity. It provides a folkloristic perspective on how the Tangkhul Naga tribe's traditional hairstyles, once emblematic of their animistic heritage, have been reshaped by the influence of Christian values and Western aesthetics. The paper offers a perspective into the intricate relationship between religion, culture, and personal expression within the Tangkhul society, contributing to a broader understanding of cultural adaptation and identity formation.

Cotton is the one of the most important commercial crops grown globally. Cotton cultivation contributes significantly to the economy by generating income for farmers, creating employment opportunity, export earnings, global trade, contribution to GDP, rural development etc. At the same time farmers are facing so many problems in cotton cultivation like lack of financial facility, labour shortage, high wage rate, inadequate water supply, severity of diseases, high cost of inputs, climate condition etc. By keeping in view the above realities, this paper focuses on the problems faced by farmers in the cotton cultivation in Erode District of Tamil Nadu. For the purpose of analysis, the required primary data have been collected from 468 sample farmers in Erode district of Tamil Nadu. It is found that the main problem felt by the sample farmers in cotton cultivation is the low yield.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to formulate and evaluate a polyherbal soap utilizing the synergistic properties of Neem (Azadirachta indica), Vallarai (Centella asiatica), Triphala (a combination of Emblica officinalis, Terminalia chebula, and Terminalia belerica), Turmeric (Curcuma longa), Honey, Reetha (Sapindus mukorossi), Aloe Vera, and Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis). These herbal ingredients are renowned for their antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, and skin-nourishing properties. The soap formulation was developed through a systematic process of ingredient selection and optimization to ensure compatibility and maximum benefits. Each ingredient was carefully chosen based on its traditional uses and scientific evidence supporting its efficacy in skin care. Neem and Turmeric, with their potent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, were incorporated to combat acne and skin infections. Vallarai, known for its wound-healing properties, was included to promote skin regeneration. Triphala extract acts as a natural cleanser, while Honey provides moisturizing and soothing effects. Reetha serves as a natural foaming agent, ensuring effective cleansing without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Aloe Vera and Almond Oil contribute additional hydration and nourishment, leaving the skin soft and supple. The formulated soap underwent rigorous evaluation for various parameters including pH, moisture content, foamability, and stability. Additionally, microbial analysis was conducted to assess its antimicrobial efficacy. Preliminary results indicate that the polyherbal soap exhibits favourable characteristics, meeting quality standards for commercial production. Overall, this study presents a promising formulation of a polyherbal soap enriched with beneficial botanical extracts. Further research is warranted to explore its therapeutic potential and suitability for various skin types, paving the way for the development of natural and sustainable skincare products.

The purpose of the study was to compare the aggression between basketball and volleyball players. Method- 50 male interuniversity basketball (N 25) and volleyball (N2 25) players from CCS University, Meerut (UP) India were selected as the subject for the study. The subject was represented north zone interuniversity competition and all India interuniversity championship in their respective sports and age ranging from 17 to 25 years. These subjects were select in terms of purposive sample from respective games. The sport aggression inventory (SAI) standardized by Mr. Anand Kumar and Mr. Prem Sankar Shukla (1998) was used for this study. It was hypothesized that there would be significant difference between basketball and volleyball players on the degree of aggression. The independent 't' test was used to compare the degree of aggression between basketball and volleyball players. The level of significance for testing the hypothesis was set at 0.05 level of confidence. Finding : The mean and standard deviation of the score of basketball players was 14.5 and 1.19 respectively whereas the mean and standard deviation of the score of volleyball players was 11.06 and 1.33 respectively. The calculated value was 10.48 which showed significant difference between basketball and volleyball players on the degree of aggression (T cal. = 10.48 > t tab =2.009). The aggression level of volleyball players. The t-value required to be significant for 58 degree of freedom was 2.009 at 0.05 level of confidence.
