 Abstract

The National Education Policy 2020, a comprehensive and ambitious reform, has been the topic of theoretical examination in terms of its potential impact and implementation issues. The policy attempts to transform the Indian education system by implementing significant changes at all levels. The emphasis on early childhood care, curriculum redesign, and the incorporation of vocational education are viewed as beneficial steps towards holistic development. However, doubts have been expressed about the policy's viability and implementation. Implementation stumbling difficulties have been recognised as potential roadblocks, including insufficient infrastructure, teacher training, and financing. Furthermore, due to the digital divide and accessibility concerns present in certain locations, the policy's reliance on technology for online learning has come under attack. To provide equitable access to quality education for everyone, the National Education Policy 2020 relies on effective implementation mechanisms, stakeholder participation, and constant monitoring and assessment.

 Abstract

This research paper aims to analyze customer satisfaction towards online shopping platforms, focusing on the different factors such as product quality, price transparency, delivery timing, return policies and digital payment convenience for the customers. The growing shift toward e-commerce, encouraged by improvement in technology and the COVID-19 pandemic, has notably transformed behavior and expectations of the consumers. The main objective of this study is to analyze how well e-commerce platforms are meeting the need of the customer and to identify key factors that impact satisfaction levels. The study adopts a mathematical approach by surveying online customer to gather first hand information or baseline data. The responses are analyzed to understand trends, preferences, and areas which need improvement. The findings indicate that while ease and diversities are strong advantages, issues like late deliveries, undisclosed charges, and unsatisfactory return experiences impact satisfaction levels. Based on the results, the paper offers suggestions for enhancing the online shopping experience, particularly from a financial service point of view such as transaction security and reimbursement reliability. This research adds to a deeper understanding of the shifting consumer expectations within the digital marketplace.

 Abstract

Avalehya is a secondary formulation in Ayurvedic pharmaceutics, characterized by its semi-solid consistency. It consists of sweetening agents, fine powder of prakshepaka dravyas, and ghrita or madhu. The preparation involves a series of steps, including the mixing of powdered medicinal substances and sweetening agents into a homogenous mixture, followed by the addition of ghrita or madhu. This process is time-consuming and intricate, particularly in large-scale production. So, an effort is made to find an economical and time-saving procedure in the preparation of Avalehyas. In the present research study, Ikshuradi lehyam is taken from Sahasra Yoga, where two batches of Ikshuradi lehyam were prepared in A.L.N. Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College and Pharmacy, Koppa. Both products were analyzed physicochemically in the Quality Control lab attached to ALARMAMC, Koppa. Based on analytical reports, the innovative method adopted here in preparation saves time (3 hours to complete lehya) and is economical. Loss on drying at 105oC of Ikshuradi lehyam 1 (10.39%) and Ikshuradi lehyam 2 (4.73%), reports in favour of increasing the shelf life of Ikshuradi lehyam 2.

 Abstract

Herbal tea, commonly referred to as tisane, is a caffeine-free beverage derived from various medicinal plant parts such as leaves, flowers, and roots. This study aimed to formulate and evaluate a palatable and therapeutic herbal tea blend using Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea), Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum), and Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus). These herbs were selected due to their antioxidant, antimicrobial, immunostimulant, and digestive properties. The collected plant materials were dried, powdered, and sieved before formulation. Organoleptic evaluation confirmed desirable appearance, aroma, and taste. Moisture content was found to be 23%, loss on drying 29%, ash value 5.3%, and pH ranged from 5.6 to 6.4, indicating good physicochemical stability. Qualitative phytochemical screening revealed the presence of flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and alkaloids, which contribute to the herbal tea's therapeutic effects. Tests such as the Shinoda, Ferric Chloride, Foam, Benedict's, and Mayer's were employed to confirm the presence of these constituents. The herbal tea demonstrated beneficial effects like relaxation, immune boosting, digestive support, and potential for aiding in weight loss and blood sugar control. It provides a healthy, caffeine-free alternative to traditional teas and modern beverages. Literature supports the medicinal potential of herbal teas, highlighting their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. This formulation shows promise as a natural health-promoting beverage with multiple physiological benefits. Further studies may explore more precise combinations and dosages for targeted health benefits.

 Abstract

The Industrial Revolution marked a period of radical transformation in production, transportation, factory systems, urbanization, and technological innovation, fundamentally reshaping societies. Originating in Britain between the 1780s and 1850s, this era was propelled by the development of advanced transport networks, a growing urban workforce from impoverished rural areas, and the emergence of banking systems that facilitated business expansion. Prior to this shift, India held a dominant position in global trade, particularly through its rich tradition of handicrafts. However, with the advent of British industrialization, the economic focus shifted. The British, rather than continuing to trade in Indian cotton textiles, redirected their interests toward extracting raw materials from India to fuel their own industrial needs. This reorientation led to the decline of India's traditional industries and integrated the country into a colonial economic structure. The Industrial Revolution thus had wide-reaching consequences, both within Europe and across colonized regions like India.

 Abstract

Microtomy is a fundamental technique in histological and pathological practices, enabling the preparation of uniformly thin tissue sections for microscopic examination. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of microtomes and microtome knives, emphasizing their structural components, classification, operational principles, and applications in various domains of biomedical science. Microtomes are broadly categorized into manual and automated types, each suited for specific sectioning requirements such as routine histology, cryosectioning, electron microscopy, and hard tissue analysis. The distinctions among rocking, rotary, sledge, sliding, vibrating, and cryostat microtomes, as well as innovations like laser and computerized systems, are discussed in detail. Equally critical to the microtomy process is the selection and maintenance of appropriate cutting tools. Microtome knives, constructed from materials such as high-carbon steel, tungsten carbide, glass, diamond, and sapphire, vary in sharpness, durability, and application. Their edge profiles ranging from plano-concave to wedge-shaped are tailored for different embedding media and tissue consistencies. Proper sharpening techniques, including honing and stropping, along with careful handling and storage, are essential to ensure section quality and prolong knife lifespan. This review highlights the interplay between equipment design, material science, and technical precision in microtomy, underscoring its indispensable role in achieving reliable histopathological and research outcomes.

 Abstract

The present study aimed to develop a herbal tooth gel utilizing Acmella oleracea extract, a traditionally used medicinal plant known for its therapeutic properties. Spilanthol, the major bioactive constituent of Acmella oleracea, is recognized for its anti-inflammatory effects, making it a suitable candidate for oral care applications. The formulated gel was evaluated through various physical parameters and demonstrated a homogeneous appearance, smooth texture, a neutral pH of 7.5, translucent clarity, and good extrudability. Stability tests indicated that the formulation retained its physical integrity over time. Anti-inflammatory activity was confirmed by turbidity analysis, indicating protein denaturation--a marker for anti-inflammatory potential. After comparing the marketed preparations with the developed herbal tooth gel, the research's findings indicate that the herbal tooth gel is as attractive as the marketed treatment .These findings support the formulation's effectiveness and its potential application in maintaining oral hygiene and managing mouth ulcers. The study underscores the viability of incorporating herbal extracts into modern dental care products and suggests further exploration into natural formulations for enhanced public dental health outcomes.
