 Abstract

The effect of leaf powders of four botanicals viz, Neem (Azadirachta indica), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus saligna), Goosefoot (Chenopodium album) and Carrot grass(Parthenium hysterophorus) was studied in stored red kidney beans. The repellency rate and mortality effect were calculated using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments. The data was then projected to statistical analysis and the test significance level was P<0.05, the best treatment in terms of the repellency rate was 10 gm, Eucalyptus leaf powder causing 82% repellency within 48 hours of the application and in terms of mortality the treatment with 10 gm Chenopodium leaf powder showed best results causing 79% mortality in 3 days. The results show this trend effort to find alternative options for organic biopesticides that can be used in place of chemical pesticides in a more biodegradable, cost-effective and environmental safe manner.

 Abstract

In this paper, we studied feminine aspects in the short stories of Kamala Das.The feminist movement in France was initiated by Condorcet, while in England, it gained momentum through the influential work of Mary Wollstonecraft in her book 'Vindication of the Rights of Women'. However, despite its early origins, the movement faced challenges in achieving concrete results due to the absence of strong foundations.

 Abstract

Aegle marmelos (linn.) Correa ex roxb. (family rutaceae) possesses tremendous therapeutic potentials as every part of the plant like fruit, seed, bark, leaf and root are most effective remedy for controlling diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, peptic ulcer and respiratory infections. Medicinal properties include anti-diabetic, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, analgenic, cardioprotective, anti-spermatogenic, anti-cancer and radio-protective. The fragrant tree is a climate purifier as it emits high percentage of oxygen in sunlight compared to other plants and absorbs poisonous gases from atmosphere and makes them inert or neutral. Considering wide prospects and potentials of this sacred tree, it is suggested to cultivate on large scale, especially on unproductive and wasteland and systematic as well as scientific research are required to explore the maximum potentials of this underutilized plant for upliftment of rural poor. Bael (aegle marmelos l. Correa) is an economically valuable tree species in south asia. The ripen bael fruits are popular among people because of the delicious fruit pulp, which is ideal for making jam, syrup, and pudding. Bael possesses many medicinal values and therefore used as an ingredient in ayurvedic herbal medical preparations. The fruits, bark, leaves, seeds, and roots of bael contain bioactive compounds such as coumarin, imperatorin, aegeline, and marmeline, alkaloids.

 Abstract

Abstract: The gender gap in financial inclusion remains a significant barrier to achieving gender equality and economic development. This study investigates the socio-economic, cultural, and institutional barriers contributing to the gender gap in financial inclusion. It examines the impact of financial inclusion on women's socio-economic empowerment and overall well-being. Using a sample of 50 dummy data points, multiple regression analysis was conducted to test two hypotheses: (1) socio-economic, cultural, and institutional barriers significantly contribute to the gender gap in financial inclusion, and (2) financial inclusion positively impacts women's socio-economic empowerment and overall well-being. The results indicate that socio-economic factors such as income level and financial literacy significantly influence access to financial services, highlighting the importance of targeted interventions to bridge the gender gap. Additionally, the study finds that financial inclusion positively impacts women's socio-economic empowerment, enhancing their decision-making power and quality of life. These findings underscore the need for comprehensive financial literacy programs, gender-sensitive financial products, and supportive policy frameworks to promote financial inclusion for women. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies, gender-disaggregated data, and the role of digital financial services to further understand and address the complexities of this issue. By fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration and leveraging technological innovations, significant strides can be made towards closing the gender gap in financial inclusion and achieving a more equitable and prosperous society.

 Abstract

Yoga is the highest discipline that man can have. Its goal is to bring the limited individual over his limitations and merge with Total Consciousness, or the Divine. Patanjali described the strenuous eight limbs of yoga, Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi as the steps to reach this goal. Swami Isa developed a simple method of Ashtanga yoga, which he teaches to students at the Isa Viswa Vidyalayam, called Life for Total Consciousness. Children and youth under 25 were surveyed to observe any benefits to their emotions, quality of thoughts, and relationships. The respondents reported significant improvements in all three areas after regularly practicing Life for Total Consciousness for at least six months.

 Abstract

A mutual fund is a type of trust that pools money from investors who share a common investing objective. It makes investments with the funds in a variety of instruments, including debt, bonds, and stocks. An open-ended equity diversified fund known as an Equity-Linked Savings Schemes (ELSS) offers investors a tax benefit under section 80 C of the Income Tax Act of 1961. Though it might be difficult for investors to select the right ELSS funds given the abundance of options available, there are always a variety of investment options available to investors, allowing them to save money in various ways and earn substantial returns. Investing in the ELSS program is one option for this saving objective. This research paper aims to investigate the ELSS Tax Saving Mutual Funds offered by AMCs of two prominent private banks, Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank, as well as factors that ought to be taken into account when making an investment. Additionally, the performance of the chosen ELSS mutual funds is disclosed by the current study. Various financial instruments are employed to facilitate the analysis. The goal of the study was to evaluate the performance of two chosen ELSS tax savings plans and determine which is a better choice for investors out of the two. Several financial metrics that are often employed in decision-making are also utilized to examine the risk associated with these tax-saving mutual funds.

 Abstract

Deep learning approach plays more important role in the data science, when it comes to the large datasets. In this paper we are analysing Intrusion detection attacks. Intrusion detection plays an important role in ensuring information security, and the key technology is to accurately identify various attacks in the network. In this paper, we investigate how to display an interruption location framework dependent on profound learning, and we propose a profound learning approach for interruption discovery utilizing recurrent neural networks (RNN-IDS). In this project we are going to analyse the KDD datasets which consists of 44 feature based on feature we are going to apply the classification algorithm (Recurrent neural network) which helps in training the data and helps in finding the accuracy. We compare it with those of decision tree, support vector machine, and other machine learning methods proposed by previous researchers on the benchmark data set.

 Abstract

: Infection prevention and control (IPC) is a critical component of quality healthcare delivery, encompassing evidence-based strategies to safeguard patients, healthcare workers, and visitors from preventable infections. In Nigeria, infectious diseases pose a significant public health challenge, underscoring the importance of effective IPC measures. This study examines the implications of IPC on quality healthcare delivery in Nigeria. Despite the existence of national policies and guidelines, the country faces challenges in implementing and sustaining effective IPC practices due to resource limitations, inadequate staffing, and limited access to training and education for healthcare workers. Cultural and religious beliefs may also influence healthcare-seeking behaviour and acceptance of IPC measures. Studies conducted in Nigerian healthcare facilities reveal low hand hygiene compliance and suboptimal knowledge and adherence to standard precautions among healthcare workers. To improve IPC practices in Nigeria, sustained investment in healthcare infrastructure, staffing, education, and training is necessary. Engaging the community and addressing cultural and religious barriers can also promote better health outcomes. Strengthening IPC globally is crucial in combating healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial resistance, and responding to disease outbreaks. Effective IPC measures, such as hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, and appropriate use of personal protective equipment, can significantly reduce the incidence of healthcare-associated infections and improve patient outcomes, ultimately contributing to the delivery of quality healthcare services.
