This study mainly deals with partial replacement of cement in concrete by bagasse ash at certain fixed proportions. The demand and use of cement is increasing gradually due to rapid industrialization in the world. For that it needs to invent alternative binding materials, and hence the Bagasse Ash, which is pozzolanic in nature, may be used at certain proportion in concrete. Sugar-cane bagasse i s a fibrous waste- product of the sugar refining industry, along with ethanol vapor. This waste product, known as sugar cane bagasse ash (SCBA) is already causing serious environmental pollution, which calls for urgent ways of handling the waste. Bagasse ash mainly contains aluminum ion and silica. In this study, cement was partially replaced by 0%,5%,10%,15% and 20% of weight of cement, for preparation of cement concrete mix. Fresh concrete test like Slump Cone Test as well as harden concrete test like Compressive Strength Test at the age of 7,14 and 28 days were performed for each mix of concrete. The tests were performed in the Material Testing Laboratory of Civil Engineering Department, H.R.H. The Prince of Wales Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jorhat, Assam. Effect on workability and compressive strength of bagasse ash mixes concrete were studied here in this work. The bagasse ash was produced by burning locally collected bagasse from various sugarcane Mill located at Jorhat district, Assam. The results obtained from the study were discussed and depicted graphically, and finally conclusions were drawn.

Abstract Consumer buying behaviour is a multifaceted area of study, influenced by psychological, social, and economic factors. Over the years, researchers have developed numerous theories to explain the complexities of consumer behaviour, with models ranging from economic theories that highlight rational decision-making to psychological and sociocultural models that emphasize the underlying emotions, motivations, and societal influences. This paper critically examines key theoretical frameworks that explain consumer buying behaviour, integrating insights from both traditional and contemporary models. The analysis covers theories such as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB), and psychoanalytic approaches, while also exploring how emotions, brand loyalty, and technological advancements shape consumer decisions in today's digital world. The review emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to understanding consumer behaviour, considering both individual and societal influences.

The structural and electrical characteristics of Zirconium (Zr) doped BaTiO3 is discussed here. Taking into the consideration the excellent dielectric and ferroelectric properties of BaTi0.9Zr0.1O3, it is the extensively studied material till date. It is currently used in many different fields, such as field-effect transistors, multilayer capacitors, actuators, transducers, dynamic random-access memory, and electro-optical devices. Taking into the consideration these applications, Zr has been selected as the substituent for BaTiO3 (BaTi0.9Zr0.1O3) to modify its physical properties. Hereby, we report synthesis of BaTi0.9Zr0.1O3 using solid state route and investigated its crystallization via XRD and also emphasized on its dielectric and impedance characteristics. XRD analysis reveals tetragonal crystal structure of the synthesized sample. Lattice structure was further verified by the analysis of Raman inelastic scattering. The response of dielectric properties to the applied ac field frequency infers the sample to inherit higher dielectric permittivity with relatively. Conduction mechanism was investigated using electric modulus and impedance studies. Impedance study reveals non-ideal Debye-like nature of the ceramic. The optical band gap of the sample was estimated to be 3.2eV determined from UV-Vis Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy in terms of Tuac's plot.

Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine, offers a unique perspective on the treatment of cancer through the use of visha(poison) and agad (antidotes). This review aims to explore the historical background, theoretical framework, and current evidence regarding the utilization of visha and agad in cancer therapy within the Ayurvedic paradigm. The concept of visha in Ayurveda refers to substances with inherent toxicity, which, when administered in controlled doses under expert guidance, are believed to possess therapeutic properties against cancer. Similarly, agad formulations serve as antidotes to counteract the toxic effects of visha and restore balance to the body. While Ayurvedic treatments incorporating visha and agad have been used for centuries, their efficacy and safety in cancer management remain subjects of debate and ongoing research. Limited scientific studies have investigated the anti-cancer potential of specific Ayurvedic formulations containing visha ingredients, highlighting the need for further clinical research to validate their effectiveness. Moreover, the integration of Ayurvedic therapies with conventional cancer treatments necessitates a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing collaboration between Ayurvedic practitioners and oncologists to optimize patient care. This review underscores the importance of evidence-based practice and patient safety in the exploration of Ayurvedic interventions for cancer treatment, while also acknowledging the rich heritage and holistic principles that underpin Ayurvedic medicine. This article is a humble attempt to present the review of various researches that have been undertaken in this context.

In Rabindra Sangeet, notation is an important process to note down the music. It is essential to preserve the note to guide future generations. Through notation, composers explain their ideas to the performers and singers (Shreemoyee Dutta Choudhury et al., 2019). In sharing music across cultures and generations notation helps to understand the music patterns and helps to feel the emotions behind the music (Marg ERP Ltd, 2023). Learning and teaching music notation is like "AtoZ" of music. Rabindranath Tagore notes the notation of Rabindra Sangeet in a book named Swarabitan. Shantidev Ghosh was one of the greatest artists and was equally talented as a singer, author, dancer, actor, notator, and vocal artist. He works on some poems written by Tagore and converts those into a new form of poem songs. Shantidev Ghosh was born in Bajapti, Changpur, Bangladesh on 7th May 1910. His father Kalimohan Ghosh worked with Rabindranath Tagore to set up the Rural Reconstruction Unit at Visva-Bharati. Manorama Devi was the mother of Shantidev Ghosh. Shantidev completed his schooling at Santiniketan Ashram Vidyalaya (visvabharati.ac.in, 2024). He became an expert in dance, music, and acting from this school. Shantidev was the luckiest person because he got guidance from Rabindranath Tagore who sent Shantidev to learn dance, music, and culture of Sri Lanka, Burma, Java, Indonesia, and Bali. In 1930, when he was only 20 years old, he joined Visva-Bharati University as a teacher. After a few years, he held the position of HOD (Head of Department) at Rabindra Music and Dance in Sangeet Bhavana which is the music department of Visva-Bharati University (visvabharati.ac.in, 2024). Later between 1964-1968 and 1971-1973, he became the Visva-Bharati University principal. This overall discussion will explain the contribution of Shantidev Ghosh as a notator and vocal artist and will highlight the importance of notation in Rabindra sangeet. This discussion will focus on the skill and talent of Shantidev Ghosh as a singer, vocal artist, and notator.
