Uterine fibroids (UF) or myomas are the most common benign female tumors of the reproductive organs affecting 70% to 80% of women during their lifetime. More risk factors are associated with a higher probability of uterine fibroid formation and development. WHO-IPCS defines Endocrine Distrupting Chemical (EDC) as "an exogenous substance or mixture that alters function(s) of the endocrine system and consequently causes adverse health effects in an intact organism, or its progeny, or (sub)populations." This was a retrospective study for the analysis of risk factors associated with uterine fibroid along with analysis of various EDCs utilization pattern which were done through a semi-structured questionnaire. This study had arrived strong relation with various risk factors of UF. Among the risk factors, vitamin D deficiency (95%), exposure to EDCs (85%) and obesity (81.7%) showe more association than others. The identification of risk factors associated with UF may help to prevent its occurrence, which could improve the general health of female population.

Ksharavarti, Kshara Sutra are mentioned by Sushruta in the management of Nadivrana (pilonidal sinus). Aims and Objective: to see the effectiveness of the Apamarga Ksharavarti followed by Apamarga Ksharasutra in Nadivrana (pilonidal sinus) with special emphasis on avoiding recurrence. Material and Method: Initially, Apamarga Ksharavarti (kept in an external opening for 2 weeks) followed by Apamarga Ksharasutra ligation in the pilonidal sinus (for 3 weeks), and the dressing was done with Jatyadi Taila. Results: Ksharavarti and Kshara Sutra showed highly significant results in this case, with less recovery period, the wound was completely healed in 6 weeks without any recurrence. Conclusion: Apamarga Ksharavarti followed by Apamarga Ksharasutra can be a less invasive & OPD basis procedure for the management of Nadivrana with reduced complications and recurrences, resulting in minimal scarring, reduced patient discomfort especially in patients with Avara Satwa.

Abstract:Introduction: The Siddha system, one of the oldest documented medical traditions originating from the Indian subcontinent, has a rich history rooted in ancient times. Its founders, the Siddhars, have recorded numerous remedies throughout the ages. Vatharoga Chooranam (VC), a herbo-mineral formulation, is traditionally recommended for treating various vatha diseases, according to classical Siddha texts. Among the 80 vatha diseases, Cervical Spondylosis is one condition that may potentially benefit from VC. In today's globalized world, ensuring the authenticity of such formulations through drug standardization and proper dissemination is crucial. VC was standardized following PLIM guidelines, marking an important step toward its acceptance in Western practices.Materials and Methods: VC was produced in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The standardization process involved phytochemical analysis, testing for pesticide residues, sterility testing using the pour plate method, an aflatoxin assay, and heavy metal analysis. This study was conducted at Noble Research Solution's facility, following the rigorous PLIM standards. The phytochemical analysis took place at Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy, Chennai. Results: The research revealed the presence of carbohydrates, saponins, phenols, phytosterols, diterpenes, flavonoids, tannins, quinones, glycosides, gum, and mucilage in the phytochemical analysis. No microbial colonies or growth were observed. Conclusion: The published findings can serve as a valuable foundation for future clinical research and further standardization efforts.

The agro-based Nutraceutical industrial Tribulus Terrestris Spent (NITTS) an aqueous solution on dye adsorption, the effects of starting dye concentration, pH, temperature, adsorbent dosage, and particle size were investigated. The obtained experimental equilibrium data were examined using Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The adsorption capacity, qe, had an experimental value of 50 mg g-1. The models used in the kinetics of adsorption investigations suit a pseudo-second order model quite well. The exothermic nature of the adsorption process was demonstrated by the values of thermodynamic parameters such as ?G0, ?H0, and ?S0. The Malachite Green dye (MG) adsorption onto NITTS was demonstrated by the FTIR spectra and SEM pictures. It is discussed whether there was any interaction in the MG-NITTS system. An efficient adsorbent for removing MG dye from an aqueous solution is NITTS.

The study intends to see the investors' behavior while taking investment decisions influenced by behavioral elements, namely risk perception, risk tolerance and return expectation, by looking at the demographical parameters such as age (young & senior citizen), gender, education and occupation. The samples are gathered from the mixed population grouped in young and senior citizen investors in Saurashtra region of Gujarat, with a number of 110 respondents. The study has been conducted in a city where most of personnel belong to business background. The data evaluated in this study is based on quantitative method by distributing a questionnaire. The study uses a 5-point Likert scale.

Comparative literature is a field that transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries, offering a broader understanding of literary traditions, genres, and themes across different cultural contexts. This paper delves into the representation of tragedy in two classical works: Shakespeare's Hamlet from the Western canon and Kalidasa's Shakuntala from ancient Indian literature. Despite emerging from distinct cultural milieus, both works examine existential dilemmas, human suffering, and fate. This paper explores thematic intersections, differences in cultural representation, and the role of literary form in articulating tragedy. Additionally, the study highlights how historical context and philosophical thought shape the depiction of tragic characters and events in both texts.
